The Primordial Record-Chapter 1487 Dawn Of The Supreme Era (2)
Chapter 1487 Dawn Of The Supreme Era (2)
The Dimensional Soul of Rowan was slowly awakening under the enormous burden of information that he had glimpsed at the instant that he saw Limbo. Everything was blurry, and thinking was difficult, almost as if he was clawing through metal with hands made from clay, but his awakening could not be denied, and his hands of clay molded the metal to his will, and his consciousness snapped into place.
Rowan was aware of a pulse bursting out of his soul at his awakening traveling before him as if it was a herald of his return.
He felt a unique sensation, a sort of soreness permeating every strand of his soul as if he had been stretched far past his limits and he was slowly healing. It was a good feeling, a liberating one because Rowan knew that he was no longer going to be hiding who he was when he returned, he had been a giant, forced to squeeze himself into the form of a man, even if it meant he would be going against all the powers of reality and even those beyond it.
This feeling was nothing to him, not against the truths that he had just learned. A small part of his consciousness idly recognized the fact that he was speeding towards reality with what he considered to be quite a ridiculous amount of power, and the flames emerging from his body were so bright that those with powerful sensitivity to Aether should be able to see a glimpse of him.
This could be a problem.
A small part of his consciousness began working on this situation, and his Will began twisting reality around him, this act was much harder for him when he accounted for the ridiculous speeds he was traveling with, but his efforts were not wasted as slowly he began to pull the fabrics of reality closer to him, altering the wavelength of light being emitted by his body and slowly but surely the glow around him began to diminish.
However, Rowan considered his action and he grinned as he scattered the arrangement he was making that would hide his light. It had almost became an automatic response to always hide who he was from the gaze of others, but times were changing, and he could not keep making the same play from the past.
As this was happening, he already calculated the distance left between him and reality, factoring for his speed, he would be reaching reality a year for now, and this should perfectly coincide with the moment he was thrown into the Memory of Primordial Life.
Everything was coming full circle, and with the knowledge in his mind, Rowan knew the first steps he needed to take the moment he entered reality, as he reviewed what he had gained from his short trip.
Limbo had not been what he expected, granted he had seen barely a fraction of what it contained and yet it was more than enough because a fraction of true infinity was still... infinite.
What Rowan had seen was a wall, a gigantic wall that stretched across infinity, and the moment he had seen this wall, the knowledge of what it was came to him- AEGIS
Rowan did not know who built this wall, it was not a natural creation, that much he knew, because stenciled throughout the entire expanse of this wall was a name, however, Rowan's consciousness was too small to encompass the entirety of this wall and so the name on it was unknown, however, what he was able to decipher from the text was interesting, the words were Enochian.
He had always had an innate dislike for this language, and Rowan could not understand where this originated from, he had looked through his memories of the past multiple times for him to understand where this emotion stemmed from, but he could not find it, and Rowan now realized that this distrust came from something much deeper than his personal memories, it belonged to the bloodlines in his body, specifically his Primordial bloodlines.
Rowan had also found it a bit peculiar that of all the Primordial bloodlines in his body, the one that seemed to be the most associated with the Enochian language was that of the Celestial, this was especially prevalent when it came to matters concerning Eva. There were still two words of Enoch left for him inside his Record, remnants of the bloodline of Eva, when he was both her Avatar and then the owner of the Palace of Ice, although this great power had been available to Rowan for a long time, he had not used it during the many moments when it could have come in handy for him, understanding that there was much to this power that he did not yet understand and he was glad that he had made this decision.

If the words of Enoch was related to Limbo, then it was far more important than he had once thought, and exploring the mysteries of this language was now pushed towards the forefront of his priorities.
There had been something else on the wall besides these Enochian words, and they were faces, each of them was extremely massive, as great as reality itself, and describing their features was hard, but Rowan could recognize two, the others were too far for his consciousness to grasp, and because he was extremely familiar with these two, he could infer who they were-Divus, the Primordial Beast whose essence he had consumed, and Primordial Life.
Their faces were pressed against the wall as if they were struggling to enter reality from the other side of the wall, and Rowan understood that this was not just speculation on his part, this was the truth, this wall, Aegis, was what protected reality from the endless hunger of the Primordial, they had already collected all the essence from reality, but there was something left, something so valuable that they remained after all this time, fighting and scheming amongst themselves, even taking out the Primordial Beasts along the way to get closer to their goal.
If there was one primary reason Rowan was going to unleash himself upon reality, it was because he understood that he was running out of time.
While everybody else was playing around in this gigantic sandbox that the Primordials had made, their reach was growing closer to their target, and Rowan believed that he might know what they craved.
