The Primordial Record-Chapter 2125: What Did You Think I Was Doing All This Years
It was as if a spell of silence had been poured over the entire Hollow as Xylos froze and the rest of the Ancient Primordials gaped at Elgorath.
Nyxara was rapidly sending furious messages to Eos, demanding answers, but Eos ignored her... she had long broken their Agreement, and only her shameless nature still allowed her to pretend as if they were still working on the same side.
She could potentially be worse than Elgorath, and the only reason Eos had not acted with more force was that he did not want to startle the prey in front of him; it was always the better option to divide and conquer.
The Primordial of Memory shrugged off Xylos’s hand on his shoulder, and he looked at Eos with a crazed look, "If you believe that the knowledge of the Proto-Dimensions would be enough to kill me, then you are so wrong, little worm, you do not know who you speak to, if you did, you would be–"
"You are a Luminious," Eos spoke dryly. "The greatest lie in Existence was the lie that the Luminious were gone, and Enoch is the last of your kind. But the story had never changed, you all would rather remain in the dark and observe Existence, but now that Existence would soon become so much bigger than any of you can understand or control, now you are returning, but it is too late because I am here, and I am no longer blind to the truth."
Elgorath blinked, "What–"
"It was not that hard to figure out when certain truths came to light, of course, you all have to be commended, for a while I was truly in the dark." Eos pointed out while sneaking a glance at the shocked Ancient Primordials beside Elgorath, "Lumen told a very pleasant story about the end of the Luminious, but the more I knew about Existence, the less the stories began to make sense. There were too many details that did not add up..."
A weird glow emerged from Elgorath’s eyes. "What detail did not add up?"
Eos looked at him and smiled cheekily, "I will not tell you. Something tells me you are a dog on a leash, and you are looking for ways to blame away your failures. Yet, you should not be worried about who holds your leash; you should be preparing for your last moments."
Elgorath was under severe stress, but the final words from Eos made him burst into laughter, "You mongrel, if you know what I am, why are you not on your knees and worshipping my light? Do you believe that because you fight these pathetic clowns beside me that you are my match? If I choose to leave this place, how can you stop me?"
"True, it would be hard to stop you," Eos tapped his chin as if in thought, then he snapped his fingers, and manifested the Singularity that was at the center of this entire conflict, "Unless you want to leave without the Primordial Record. I don’t know about you, Elgorath, but I am sure that when you are broken for your failures, we all shall hear your screams all the way from here."
A collective gasp of greed erupted inside the hollow from all the Ancient Primordials here. All of the Ancient Origins of Existence, had been gathered inside the pages of this Singularity, and all of this power was right there in front of them for the taking, and with the return of Enoch and the knowledge that he was not the last of their kind walking across Existence, the Primordial Record could not be any more desired than at this moment.
"Or would you rather run when this prize is laid in front of you, but I will not be surprised if you did, afterall, the Luminious are the greatest cowards to walk through Existence," Eos smirked, while he ran his fingers over the cover of the Primordial Record, causing the aura of ten thousand Ancient Origin forces to ripple from it like black smoke.
Elgorath looked at the Primordial Record in Eos’s hands, and he sighed, "You cannot win this, and as much as you think you know of the truth, you have only scratched the surface of it. You will die, Eos. Your birth and power are nothing but an experiment for us to utilize the power of Origin, and now, you have overstayed your welcome, and the things that you hold as precious are nothing but– What are you doing?!"
The Primordial Memory had screamed in shock as Eos had opened the page of the Primordial Record, and drawn out the concept of wind, and then he crushed it to dust.
"Ah, that felt good," Eos sighed, "I could never separate End from the deepest part of it, and the answer had always been to just crush it and remake it from scratch."
It took a moment for the full weight of what Eos had just done to sink in, and the Ancient Primordials, including Elgorath, nearly went crazy.
What Eos had done would seem normal, especially in a gathering like this. He had simply brought out a Single Origin of wind, and he crushed it. This was not a problem because the Primordial Record had hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of Origin Force for Wind within its pages, and it would not have mattered if Eos had crushed a thousand; there were many more left, and all of that power could not just be erased; it would inevitably return.
However, they had all noticed something alarming and peculiar. The Primordial Record blazed with the powers of all the Ancient Origin of Existence, and when Eos crushed the Origin of Wind, the presence of that Origin had suddenly vanished from inside it, leaving a void that could be felt like the sudden absence of a tooth in the mouth.
"What did you do, Eos?" Nyxara growled in rage and disbelief, and her words were echoed by the rest of the Ancient Primordials.
"Where is the Origin of Wind?"
Eos smiled and said, "Wait for it.... There!"
Far above them, a new sound arose in the air, like the wind screaming its freedom as it was reborn anew. One of Eos’s Incarnation buried in the depths of one of the Origin Realms had begun his Ascension to become the Primordial of Wind. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
Eos dismissively brought out another Origin Force, and this one blazed like the sun, "Do you know that there are still copies of your Origin Forces left inside the Primordial Record?"
Saying this, he crushed the Origin of Light, and not too long after, Existence seemed to shift as another Primordial began to arise, this one being the Primordial of Light.
"How are you doing this?" Elgorath whispered in shock. "What happened to all of the Origin Essence inside the Singularity?"
His questions were very relevant. An Origin Force alone was potential, but paired with Origin Essence, the true powers of the ninth dimension were able to shine through. With the amount of Origin Essence inside the Primordial Records acting like shields that nurtured the Origin Force inside it, not even Elgorath would be able to shatter the Origin Force without taking a long time to dissipate the Essence.
Eos smiled, "What did you think I was doing all these years?"
