Ethan gasped as he saw the bodies of the guards lying on the floor, lifeless. Ethan raised his gaze to the back of the woman who calmly walked past the bodies while deftly changing the magazine of her gun, as if she had done this a million times, well, perhaps she had.

Lory checked her watch to see how much time she had left, luckily she was ahead of schedule, that's good news but she didn't have time to be happy because she heard footsteps hastily coming down the stairs.

"You can shoot right?" Lory said.

Ethan stared at the gun wryly"I don't like killing people."

Lory sneer "Most people don't kill because they like it, they have to." Lory looked at Ethan with irritated eyes. "I can only protect you so far, your life is yours to protect." Her words imply she will not sacrifice herself to protect him.

Ethan understood what Lory meant, and she was right, only he could protect himself, he guessed he had forgotten that after years of enjoying a comfortable life.

Lory didn't want to waste her time in an unnecessary battle, she reached for the exit door and then beckoned Ethan in a low voice "Over here, quick!" Ethan heard the footsteps increasing closer, hence, he hurriedly chassed Lory. Thankfully they were on time before the guards caught them.

Lory put on her earbuds and tapped them to reconnect with the others, a second later Garrof answered, "Your Highness, it's good to have you back!" he sounded happy and relieved but Lory heard a rumbling sound.

"I got Ethan Hamilton with me!" Lory glanced at Ethan behind her "How's it going outside?"

"Crowded!" Garrof laughed, a second later Lory heard the sound of an explosion. it seems Garrof is in the middle facing the enemy.

"Have you seen any Dragxtarn?" Lory's steps stopped when she bumped into a group of Argus agents, she clicked her tongue.

"Yeah, I have one here" Garrof clicked his tongue.

"I have one too" Lloyd gritted his teeth.

There should be Three Dragxtarn, Lory frowns, "Well keep them busy!" Lory said.

"Nope!" Lory shot the agent and managed to kill the agent but because of that the other agent rained her with bullets.

Lory jumped at Ethan and pushed him on the floor, thanks to the Bellerophon armor the bullets didn't hurt her, although it still stung a little, but she didn't have time to care about it. Lory rolled on the floor and then shot the lights, The sudden darkness made the enemies lost their target.

"Hold it!" one of the agents screamed to cease fire, "Used the Orb light!" he ordered the other agent.

The man spoke too much Lory couldn't find his position easily, she threw the stun baton at the man knocked him down, and startled the other agents.

Another agent threw a glass sphere to the ceiling and the ball floated in the air, a second later the glass sphere emitted a bright light.

"Where is she!" the agent searched for Lory's figure.

The others screamed in panic "Find her!"

Amid the chaos, they heard a cold voice creep behind their back, "Psst, over here!"

Lory shot the agent in the back of the head while the others pointed their guns at her, but she quickly knelt and shot one of the agents in the leg. After that, Lory rolled to avoid the shots from the other agents, then hit one of them with a stun baton to paralyze him and use the poor man as a human shield. At the same time, she fired at them. Meanwhile, Ethan just watched in fear, he wanted to help but his body refused to move. He cursed himself for being useless, why was he always the one being protected?

"We don't know that" Lory tilted her head and smiled. at the same time, she secretly reaches for the bomb in her pocket.

But the giant plasma gun turned into a shield that protected the Dragxtarn from the shots.
