The Psychopathic Beast Emperor-Chapter 108: The Cowlady Wakes.
Bahamut stared at Lily for a long time, at a loss for what to do with her. The more his hands tightened around her neck, the more she smiled and blushed. At the moment, her face was almost as red as her hair, but he couldn’t tell if it was loss of air or blushing. Not when she was smiling in ecstasy and breathing hot hair on his fingers.
Bahamut’s eyes twitched in annoyance and defeat. He couldn’t do anything. His threats didn’t work, and she was clearly enjoying the treatment she was getting.
"Just stay out of my way. I’m not in the mood for drama," Bahamut said coldly and stopped holding her neck. Lily fell harshly, her knees hitting the hard, stone floor so hard that there were sure to be bruises, but she still smiled.
"I will be victorious..." she muttered under her breath.
"Pathetic..." Bahamut commented harshly and turned to leave. Lily watched his receding back and held her still blushing face with a drunken expression and crazy smile. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
"Exildra is out of the way... I will make use of it! I saw him first. He is mine!"
Bahamut had just reached the eatery with quick strides when he felt a chill down his spine.
’I’m already getting tired of her...’
...
"How was it?" Sel asked Bahamut with a smirk the moment he sat at the table. Bahamut’s eyes twitched beneath the blindfold while snorting in frustration.
"I might kill someone soon..." he replied in a dark tone, making Sel’s smirk widen.
"It was bound to happen sooner or later..." Sel said in a mocking tone. "The benefits of being strong and handsome."
"You know her?" Bahamut ignored Sel’s jest and asked in confusion.
"Yep. She claimed you were hers during the trials. That was when you fought the eagle and collapsed. Love at first sight... I will say."
"She’s obsessed... That isn’t love."
"Most beast-kin are like that, especially fox-kin. Their partner, or rather mating curse, is worse than that of elves. They can only have one mate in their lives, and when their mate dies, they cannot take another one. Elves can do that after a couple of years, but for fox-kin, it’s true eternal love. As for the obsession... let’s say your luck is bad.
You are in for a long course of drama and rivalry," Sel said with a chuckle, making Bahamut’s expression twist.
"Just take both of them. The more the merrier..." Ren commented from the side, totally focused on a battle with pork.
"Motherfucker!" Bahamut exclaimed, almost jumping him. Sel just laughed silently while drinking his wine. His blue eyes flashed with a faint green as he watched the two banter.
’At least, he’s talking. It’s scary when he’s silent.’
...
Bahamut lay on his bed with his blindfold wrapped around his hand. Ren lay fast asleep beside him, his marks glowing and dimming in rhythm with his breathing. Sel was up on the roof meditating.
He was lost in his thoughts, mostly about Exildra, when he felt a powerful tug in his consciousness. He ignored it.
Then it happened again, this time more powerful that it caused his head to ache.
"What the-!"
Bahamut suddenly found himself in a world of darkness. Shadows writhed and moved everywhere as far as his eyes could see. The world felt cold and desolate with no sign of life. Bahamut looked around in confusion as his eyes started glowing on their own accord to see things.
A shadowy hand stretched towards him from behind. He didn’t sense it, and it touched him, making him turn abruptly and hit it. But his hand passed through it.
"What is this place?" Bahamut asked aloud. "System?"
He called out to the system five times, but there was no reply. That was when he felt a powerful call from inside the darkness. It was so powerful that his body moved on its own, before his mind could process what was happening.
He moved through the darkness for about an hour before he reached a place with little darkness.
The call seemed to come from there. Looking around, he noticed some things: walls of tangible shadows, a throne of shadows and a faint silhouette of a something his mind refused to process.
That was when he saw the source of the call, on the black floor. It was a cocoon which seemed to have been split open from the middle.
The head of a lady stuck out of it, facing upwards but her eyes were closed.
Bahamut moved slowly toward it, unconsciously making his steps light.
When he got closer, he noticed that she was a young lady, possibly in her early twenties with black hair like ink that reached just short of her shoulders. Her hair was short. Her skin was pale but it didn’t look ill like Exildra’s. This was a healthy pale.
Black horns that resembled a cow’s jutted from the sides of her head just like a cow’s. Her ears proved his guess right as they were cow ears.
Looking down, Bahamut took in her pale skin...
Well, she was naked. Totally naked and she was so beautiful. A beauty that rivaled Exildra, Lily, and all the ladies he’s met before.
His face turned a bit red as his eyes landed and stayed for a long time on her huge milkshakes.
"Are they big because she’s a cow or what?"
The girl’s eyes suddenly fluttered open.
"Where am I?" She asked in a tiny, confused tone.
Bahamut just looked down at her, unsure of how to answer. But he didn’t even need to as the lady turned towards him.
Their eyes met and she exclaimed.
"So beautiful!"
Bahamut was confused by what she said but before he could speak, she spoke again.
"M-Master?"
"Huh? Master?" Bahamut repeated in confusion. That was when it finally hit him.
It was the cowgirl he’d contracted back in Farronhold...
"But how? You were a young girl..."
Bahamut’s statement made the lady tilt her head in confusion, her black, hollow eyes staring at him.
"..."
Before Bahamut could answer...
He opened his eyes to his ceiling and the blindfold still wrapped around his hand.
The sun streamed through the room through the window.
It was already morning. Sel and Ren were fast asleep.
"Just what the hell happened?"
