Chapter 440: The Beginning Of The End [CII]

The first thing Aestrea felt when he opened his eyes was the warmth.

It wasn’t the gentle warmth of the morning sun, but a heavy, encompassing heat, like being buried under two living, breathing blankets.

He slowly cracked his eyes open, the dim light of the new day filtering through the heavy curtains of the chamber.

He was in the middle, exactly as he had been at the peak of the night’s passion.

On his right, Zeva was curled against him, her wild, untamed nature from the night before replaced by the peaceful stillness of sleep.

Her black-greenish hair was similar to a messy halo around her head, strands strewn across his chest and arm.

Her face, usually sharp and fierce, was soft in sleep, her lips slightly parted.

One of her legs was thrown over his, possessive even in her dreams, and her hand rested on his stomach, right over his heart.

The faint scar on her nose seemed less like a mark of battle and more like a beauty mark in the soft morning light.

On his left, Yara was pressed just as close.

Her long, black hair was a silk curtain over his other arm, her head tucked into his shoulder. Her soft, even breaths tickled his neck.

Unlike Zeva’s possessive sprawl, Yara was tucked into him, seeking comfort and closeness. Her arm was draped over his chest, her hand resting near Zeva’s, their fingers almost touching.

He could feel the soft weight of her breasts against his side. The sheer exhaustion from her multiple orgasms had clearly knocked her out completely.

He looked between them.

They were enemies, rivals who would gladly tear each other apart for a single scrap of his attention.

Yet here, in the quiet aftermath, they were just two women, sleeping peacefully, their animosity washed away by a night of shared, mind-blowing pleasure.

The air in the room was thick with the scent of sex, their sweat, their unique perfumes of pine-leather and smoke-vanilla, and the musky, lingering smell of their combined releases.

The sheets were also a sticky mess.

He tried to move, to move even an inch, but it was impossible. Zeva’s leg tightened around him instinctively, and Yara let out a soft, sleepy whimper, snuggling closer.

He was simply trapped.

"Cleanse."

Aestrea snapped his finger, muttering lightly, and every mark that suggested that they had sex yesterday completely disappeared.

Even the musky smell dissipated from existence.

’...Mhm, the next girls should be Chaerin, Lumi, Ruli, and Leaf.... Aestrea muttered inwardly, thinking how his whole week was packed.

Before going back to the divine realm, he had promised to spend time with every single one of them, not alone, but they were already satisfied just with that.

As to how the group was divided... it was based on how close they were with each other, and yes, surprisingly, Yara and Zeva were like two peas in a pot.

’What time is it?’

Aestrea looked at the clock on the wall and realized that it was only 9 am, while the ’date’ with the four little girls was at 2 pm.

He had quite a lot of time to waste.

Fwish...

He teleported out of bed since he didn’t want to wake them up, and headed over to the training room of the palace.

Unfortunately, the walls he had made before weren’t going to be able to resist his power now, so he directly raised a barrier around him.

"I should test it now..."

Aestrea walked towards the middle of the room and suddenly sat in a lotus position. He stayed like that for two to three minutes before suddenly opening his eyes.

"『 ✯ Authority of Karma ✯ 』"

He conjured a hand seal, and suddenly, a swirling black and white aura seeped out of his body, forming a yin-yang symbol above his head.

The yin-yang symbol began absorbing mana from its surroundings, turning nearly into a vortex as Aestrea continued making hand seals.

Each seal caused a small star to light up around the yin-yang symbol, until it finally reached seven stars, which is currently his chaos energy realm.

"Phew..."

He exhaled deeply before forming a triangle with his hands and suddenly muttering in an extremely calm tone:

"I, Aestrea Moon, the Fallen God, curse Frederick of the Primordial Court.

Let misfortune follow in his shadow. Let chance decay before it finds his hands. Let the road twist, let the ground fail, let timing fail at the wrong moment. The dice shall roll low numbers. The omens avoid the truth, and the warnings come late.

Let allies fail, unaware of the reason. Let guards turn a blind eye. Let a blade drop. Let a spell catch in the throat. Let every scheme stall at the brink of success and fail.

Grant him breath enough to notice the pattern. Grant him days enough to grow tired of hoping. Let survival become heavy, not kind.

When death comes, let it find him not draped in honor. No praise or witness. Not one to be remembered. Let it overtake on his luckless self, worn thin. Without favor or excuse.

This curse involves flesh, name, and destiny. It will not hurry. It will not forgive. It will wait, and it will count."

The seven stars dimmed one by one, sinking back into his body as the symbol above his head unraveled into smoke, leaving the air quiet.

"U-ugh..."

Aestrea’s shoulders jerked forward as if someone had slammed a fist into his chest from the inside.

"Bleughhh!!!"

A sharp, wet sound followed, and he spat a full mouthful of dark blood onto the stone below, the splatter steaming faintly before fading away.

His hands trembled, his fingers curling before loosening almost instantly, struggling to stay steady.

"Fuuu..." He sucked in a slow breath through his nose, his jaw tightening as pain crawled behind his eyes.

His vision blurred for a second, then slowly got back to normal.

A thin line of blood slid from the corner of his mouth, and he wiped it away with the back of his hand, leaving a red smear across pale skin.

His eyes narrowed, heavy with exhaustion, lids half lowered.

"...This drawback was heavier than I thought."

However, seeing how the price of casting the curse was heavy, a satisfied smile appeared on Aestrea’s lips.

After all, that meant that he was actually able to curse Frederick, the strongest god of the Primordial Court.

He alone was probably able to kill half of his current army, so weakening him would help him a lot!

With that done, Aestrea didn’t have anything more to do in the training room, so he headed to the kitchen.

He was a little hungry...

In the kitchen, he rolled up his sleeves and got to work.

The pot clanged softly as he set it on the stove, putting the water inside it to boil.

He chopped vegetables with steady, even strokes, the knife tapping lightly against the board.

Meat sizzled when it hit the pan, and the smell curled around him, filling the small space.

He stirred, tasted, added a pinch of salt, a bit more heat, making small adjustments while humming a little sound.

When the meal was ready, he arranged it on three plates, careful with portions.

The pot went in the center of the table, steam still rising.

With a flick of his hand, he cast a thin, invisible barrier over two plates and the pot, freezing them in perfect warmth.

Then, he sat alone with his own plate, the chair creaking under him, and began to eat.

"Mhm... still the same familiar taste," he nodded, satisfied by the food he made.

After eating up, he wiped his plate with magic before putting it back into its place. Then, he checked the clock again and noticed that it was already 1:15 PM.

Casting the curse took a lot more time than it intended, and he even cooked, so that was thirty extra minutes. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

Thankfully, their meeting was at 2 PM, meaning that he still had forty-five minutes to do whatever he wanted since he could simply teleport to their meeting place.

So, in these remaining minutes...

Aestrea snapped his finger and started playing around with a small icicle, throwing from side to side to pass the time.

He really didn’t have anything else to do.

"...This is so boring."

Furrowing his eyebrows, Aestrea closed his eyes before opening them with an idea in mind.

"I can simply fast-forward time!"

He directly snapped his fingers while looking at the clock, before adjusting the speed of time to his liking, seeing the clock hand moving quite fast.

When it reached 1:59 PM, time returned to normal.

"Let’s go now."

He directly teleported to the main fountain of the Capital, which was their meeting place, and unsurprisingly, he didn’t see anyone there.

They were probably on the way there.

And just after waiting for a few more minutes, he instantly heard a pair of quick steps approaching him, causing him to turn around.

"Master~!"

"Papa!"

"Big Brother!"

Four different voices called out to him.
