Chapter 483: Chapter 493: Went Crazy

Lucy Campbell was still nestled in John Brown’s arms, her eyes full of spring, and she playfully said, "Now do you believe me?"

Emily Smith chuckled and said, "We believe you, cousin, but you really surprised us by keeping it from us for so long."

Lucy Campbell brushed a few stray strands of hair from her forehead and charmingly said, "Do I have to report to you guys whenever I’m in a relationship?"

Lily Fisher pouted and said, "Of course you have to report! I always thought you didn’t have a boyfriend, so I introduced you to someone. But now you bring someone, making it awkward for Young Master W."

Lucy Campbell apologized to Michael Weber, "Mr. Williams, I’m really sorry to make things awkward, and I apologize to you here."

"No worries, no worries," Michael Weber laughed it off. At this point, even if he said something snarky, it would only lower his status, so it’s better to appear magnanimous, leaving a good impression on Lucy Campbell.

Lucy Campbell smiled slightly and said, "Mr. Williams is also an admirable person and wouldn’t hold a grudge over something like this against me and John Brown. Even if we’re not meant to be, we can still be friends. I’ve always wanted to expand into the S Region. If I ever go there, I’ll definitely bother Mr. Williams. I hope Mr. Williams will do me this favor."

Michael Weber laughed heartily and said, "Miss Johnson treating me as a friend is my honor as well. To gain something unexpected is my great profit."

Lucy Campbell nodded gently and said, "Mr. Williams is indeed a broad-minded person."

Lucy Campbell was flattering Michael Weber with purpose. She knew that men love their reputation. With her and John Brown’s situation, Michael Weber might not be able to do anything to her, but he’d surely hold a grudge against John Brown. Although based on John Brown’s abilities, he wouldn’t fear Michael Weber, it would still be troublesome. She had John Brown pretend to be her boyfriend to have a chance to develop feelings but not to cause trouble for him.

"Alright, alright, today is a happy day. Our cousin finally has someone she likes. We must have a drink," Emily Smith loudly organized.

The dishes were served, and Emily Smith, Lily Fisher, and Lyndia Miller had the intention of absolutely getting John Brown drunk.

Out of courtesy and to save face for Lucy Campbell, John Brown naturally couldn’t refuse. Under the three’s alternating toasts, he soon finished a bottle of white wine.

For John Brown, a bottle of white wine was quite a lot, and he was feeling dizzy. However, the drinking capacity of the three women wasn’t great, and even though they were toasting with him, they were already quite tipsy.

"I say, Brother-in-law..." With the drinks flowing and John Brown being so straightforward, Emily Smith found him much more agreeable now, draping her arm around his shoulder with a grin, she said, "I’ve realized you’re quite good."

John Brown didn’t mind Emily Smith being so close. His little sister-in-law, Emily Lopez, was even more extreme. Smiling, he said, "Thank you, Emily, for approving of me. I was honestly a bit nervous coming here, afraid Lucy’s family might not like me."

"Hehe, our Sanker Family lacks nothing and doesn’t need to form alliances for things, so our marriages are our own decision. As long as my sister likes you, your relationship is basically set. Come on, let’s have another drink."

Lucy Campbell saw that John Brown had already drunk quite a bit and quickly stopped him, saying to Emily Smith, "Do you really want to get James drunk?"

Emily Smith blinked and said, "Getting him drunk is good! You know, men become more impulsive when they’re drunk. That’s when it gets interesting."

Lucy Campbell’s face flushed, and she snapped, "You silly girl, talking nonsense."

Emily Smith widened her eyes and said, "I’m not talking nonsense, I’m speaking the truth. Hey, cousin, you two haven’t done ’that’ yet, have you?"

Lucy Campbell was momentarily speechless, let out a humph and said, "There are outsiders here, you know. Stop talking nonsense."

Michael Weber felt a bit awkward, as he was clearly the "outsider" being referred to. This whole time, the three women were busy toasting with John Brown, inadvertently ignoring him. Moreover, Lily Fisher and the others were close friends of Lucy Campbell, so teasing John and Lucy was normal. He had no chance to interject, and it was the first time in his life that he’d been so disregarded. Yet, everyone here had a stronger background than him. Even though he was upset, he didn’t dare show it.

Standing up, Michael Weber forced a smile and said, "Hehe, everyone, I’ve had enough, so I won’t disturb your enjoyment. Let’s meet again another time."

No one was inclined to keep him, exchanging a few polite words. Lily Fisher saw him to the door. Even though she was related to Michael Weber, under the circumstances, he had no chance, and she could only console him briefly before letting him leave.

Without Michael Weber, the three women got even wilder, and Lyndia Miller seductively asked, "I say, Lucy, your boyfriend is so strong, does that mean he’s strong in ’that’ aspect too, which is why you’re with him?"

Lily Fisher smiled and said, "I bet that’s the case! If Lucy wanted to date a handsome guy, she could easily pick anyone in the country, and since James isn’t that handsome, he must excel in that area."

John Brown was sweating buckets. These women were going crazier than men, daring to say anything, even such bold words. Even with his thick skin, he was feeling overwhelmed, whereas Lucy Campbell’s face was entirely flushed as she scolded, "Can’t you guys talk about something serious?"

Linda Smith chuckled, making her whole body shake with laughter, and said, "Cousin, you just mentioned there’s an outsider, but now there’s no one else here. What are you so shy about? Quickly tell us, how long does it last each time, how many times a night, does it go on all night?"

Lucy Campbell was really defeated by her three friends. She knew the more she explained, the less they would believe her, so she simply said, "You’ve already figured it out, what are you still asking for?"

Linda Smith immediately exclaimed, "Wow, it’s true then, our Lucy is no longer pure!"

Lily Fisher charmingly raised her glass to John Brown, saying, "Come on, James, let’s have another drink, wishing you and Lucy grow old together."

Suddenly, those words were normal, catching John Brown off guard. He immediately raised his glass and drank with Lily, while she giggled, "James, tell us, is Lucy wild in bed?"

John Brown’s face darkened, and he looked toward Lucy Campbell, unsure of how to respond.

Lyndia Miller also giggled, "Yeah, Lucy always acts so noble in front of us, like an ethereal fairy. We just want to know how she is in bed, is she like a normal person?"

John Brown kept coughing, not daring to say a word.

Lucy Campbell rolled her eyes at a few people, "Are you guys done yet? Want us to show you to see for yourselves?"

"Sure, sure!" The three immediately clapped and shouted excitedly, "That’s a great idea. There’s a room right here, you guys can do it now, and we’re willing to be the audience."

"Aren’t you ashamed?" Lucy Campbell was really defeated by these three friends. She was just casually saying it, not expecting them to get even more excited. Not to mention, she and John Brown hadn’t done anything like that yet, and even if they had, they wouldn’t do it in front of three people, would they?

But these three had seized on Lucy Campbell’s words and wouldn’t let it go, leaving Lucy Campbell and John Brown extremely embarrassed.

After a while, the three saw that they couldn’t get anything out of John Brown and Lucy Campbell, so they drunkenly dragged them into the bedroom, giggling and pulling at their clothes.

John Brown was quite frightened. These three women, he could handle them with one hand, but he certainly couldn’t lay a hand on them. In a moment of inspiration, as he got into the bedroom, he immediately pulled Lucy Campbell in, then shut the bedroom door and locked it from the inside.

The three of them immediately started quarreling outside, demanding John Brown and Lucy Campbell open the door, but Lucy and John didn’t dare open it.

"Hmph, if you two don’t come out, we’ll just listen at the door."

These three really meant it, pulling up chairs and sitting at the door, making it impossible for John Brown and Lucy Campbell to get out.

John Brown and Lucy Campbell looked at each other in the bedroom. John gave a wry smile and said, "How did it come to this?"

Lucy Campbell sat on the bed and also gave a wry smile, "They’re usually not this wild. Who knew it would turn out like this today? Let them mess around; we’ll just stay in here and not come out. They’ll have no choice. Once they’re tired, they’ll go to sleep."

That’s all they could do. John Brown sat on the edge of the bed, rubbed his forehead, and said, "They really got me today. I have a bit of a headache now."

The bed shook for a moment, then two small hands pressed against his forehead, and Lucy Campbell’s voice came from behind, saying, "Let me massage it for you."

"No need, I’ll be fine in a moment." John Brown hurriedly tried to pull her hands away.

But Lucy Campbell protested, "I’ve never given you a head massage; just let me try it, so I can learn to take care of my husband later."

With Lucy saying that, John Brown couldn’t bring himself to refuse her help. Laughing, he said, "Whoever marries you would have to serve you well; can you really take care of others?"

"When I get married, I’ll be a good wife. I’ll definitely take great care of my husband and make him the happiest man in the world."
