There was one Theo in front of me and one behind my back. One of them should have been a mirage of my mind...but both felt solid and real.

"Kyle, please don’t be angry at me. It was not my idea to do all this. My other half made me do this and I also agree that it is necessary to correct all that went wrong. You agree as well, right?"

This Theo holding me felt more naive (or pretended to be) as he looked at me. Unlike the one before, this one reminded me too much of the alpha I had gotten to know.

Before I could reply, the meaner Theo turned my face toward him and lips bit my ear. When he pulled back, his wet breath whispered in my ear, causing me to shiver.

"This is not fair! I was the one who did most of the work, so why do you take the credit? It should be me who Kyle should be paying attention to. Right, Kyle?"

Theo asked as I felt my throat freeze up. I opened my mouth to speak only for the younger-feeling Theo to frown with jealousy at his older counterpart’s action.

One Theo had my ear, the other one decided that my neck was free property.

Sharp fangs touched my neck as a hot mouth sucked at it to leave a mark on it. I arched my back to get away from them, but that only pushed my body more and more against the pair.

When the older Theo pulled back, he chuckled at the marks he was leaving on my body.

"Are you feeling funny, Kyle? I had a feeling that you became an omega for our sakes. Shall we have some fun before the reset starts for real?" 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮

Older-Theo asked me and I snapped out of my daze. The sudden clarity slammed into me and I turned to give him a glare and also push the two alphas away.

My scent filled the air and I panted as I felt dizzy for a moment. I had to pull myself together and take a deep breath to get my breathing under control.

Then, I turned to look at the two alphas who had not a single shred of guilt showing on their faces.

"Stop it. Stop trying to distract me by acting like this, or I will truly get angry. Do you both even have any idea what you have done?"

I asked and the pair chuckled at me.

"Idea? Of course we have an idea. But I think you are mistaken about what is happening here."

"That’s right, Kyle. Please, listen to us for a minute before getting angry."

Both Theo asked me and I frowned as I pulled back. I decided to hear out what they had to say.

"Speak. I will listen to what you have to say for a chance."

I told them and the younger Theo spoke up first.

"Kyle, do you recall the past? No, even if you do recall, I feel like I should still tell you what happened since you don’t know anything after you died."

The alpha spoke up and I decided to let him speak. When I did not interrupt him, Theo continued.

"After you merged yourself with the world and the system to make sure worlds won’t keep disappearing, the energy went out of balance and started to cause destruction. With a major force gone to balance, there was nothing anyone could do to stop it."

"If nothing is done, then all the known worlds will soon disappear. That is the last thing you want to do, right? So the only way to prevent all this is to hit the reset button. We shall head to the start and change the course of what happened. Then, the energy will never go out of balance."

Older-Theo told me and his words made sense enough for me to drop my guard. However, something still did not feel right.

A part of me told me that Theo was still not telling me the whole truth. He was hiding a lot at the moment.

"Is that all you want to propose to me? Are you sure there is nothing else you are hiding from me?"

I asked and the man chuckled at my words.

"There is a lot you do not know... and should not know. Please, don’t try to dig any deeper into the truth. Just stay by my side here and step into the new world that is about to come."

Theo told me as he extended his hand toward me. He looked genuine as he invited me to join him and I placed my hand in his.

I knew that it was not right and that I might come to regret this in the future. But at that moment, it felt like the right decision to make.

"Will all these people who are frozen in time come to their senses soon? I hope you do not intend to harm them."

I asked Theo and he looked offended that I had asked him this.

"Is that what you truly think of me? I will not harm anyone deliberately, so please do not worry. Also, stop thinking too much about things and just go with the flow. I promise everything will be just fine."

Theo promised me as the pair led me further into the light. Each step made my body feel heavier and yet, I kept walking toward the light that welcomed me.

As soon as I entered the main source of light, the world faded into white and even my memories seemed to fade away slowly. I felt like the world was changing and forming at the same time.

"This place is...?"

"The genesis of creation. This is the place that births the worlds and decides when they need to be erased and have reached their end. And now, I intend to use its power to reverse time and render the world into a blank state as it used to be."
