The Trending Topic Herself: The Villainess is the Superstar!-Chapter 136: Yvonne Hall
Vincent Summers was silent for a moment, and after a long pause, he spat out a few words, "Maya, Maya Monroe... she has a tendency for domestic violence..."
The more he thought about it, the more scared he became. He grabbed Ian Rowe’s arm and advised, "Ian, Maya has a tendency for domestic violence, you absolutely cannot tolerate her any longer! Get a divorce soon, it’s better for everyone... No, even if Maya is in the wrong, it doesn’t matter, this is her fault anyway!"
"You’ve misunderstood, she just sleeps restlessly."
"Restless? And she can strangle you like that? How much resentment does she have to hold to strangle you like that? I don’t believe you when you say there’s no malice there!"
Vincent Summers became more afraid the more he thought about it, muttering, "Thinking in details is terrifying..."
Ian Rowe was too lazy to deal with him and was already stepping away: "She just has a lot of strength."
Vincent quickly caught up to him.
"Her strength, her..." He belatedly realized something was off, "No, Ian, why are you defending her between the lines? Maya left you in this state, and you’re still defending her?!"
Ian Rowe found him extremely annoying, so he stopped responding to him.
Vincent almost cried out from behind, "Ian, tell me! Are you just going to let Maya run wild?!!"
Ian’s steps paused slightly, he said impatiently, "I already threatened her."
Vincent’s eyes lit up, jogging to catch up and walk alongside Ian: "That’s more like it! Ian, how did you threaten her?"
It seems that after being humiliated by Maya too many times, Vincent was always eager to see Maya being put in her place. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
"Vegetables."
"Vegetables...? What vegetables? Hey, Ian, don’t go! Tell me, what’s the deal with the vegetables? Why is the threat vegetables?!!"

Maya Monroe slept in as usual, checking the time, not bad, still ten o’clock.
No production team to wake her up, life couldn’t be more comfortable!
Maya thought of yesterday’s events, finding them both dramatic and puzzling, the dilemma continued until she had breakfast.
After breakfast, Maya asked Aunt Wang to prepare a food box; she was going to deliver lunch to Ian Rowe.
This, of course, wasn’t her own will, Yolanda Sawyer had just called her, first expressing how much she missed her, and then suggesting Maya deliver lunch to Ian to enhance their marital affection.
Maya insisted Ian probably had a company-exclusive lunch, no need to deliver food to him.
Yolanda, being experienced, persuaded her in just a few sentences, leaving Maya unable to refute.
Maya wasn’t genuinely willing to run over to deliver lunch; she simply had no vocabulary to argue back.
Maya actually felt somewhat displeased, "Aunt Wang, remember to prepare it like last time, add more fatty meat!"
She could only double her gains from Ian’s side.
Aunt Wang looked troubled, "Sir doesn’t like fatty meat, maybe we should prepare something else, the previous food box’s style should also be changed..."
Maya waved her hand, acting like a stubborn ruler, "Just do as I say! What does he mean he doesn’t like fatty meat? He loves it! Didn’t you see he didn’t bring any of the meal back last time? Because he ate it all!"
"Ian holds himself with prestige and elegance, of course, he wouldn’t admit he likes fatty meat! Aunt Wang, you don’t understand reading his mind, follow my words, and I guarantee you a promotion and raise!"
Whether other people crafted lies with a rough draft, Maya didn’t know, but she certainly didn’t need one.
Aunt Wang left with a helpless smile.
Maya arrived once again at the Valerius Group headquarters, going to Ian Rowe’s office was as simple as ever. The receptionists there would tremble upon seeing her, as if a mouse encountering a cat.
Maya knew this was the effect left by the original host, and she enjoyed the convenience without needing to speak much.
When Ian saw Maya come in, he had no particular expression, or rather, none of the extreme disgust Maya had imagined, though she had indeed pinched him quite hard yesterday.
However, Ian had always been someone with a calm demeanor, never revealing extreme emotions.
He said nothing, but perhaps deep down he was extremely weary of her.
Somehow, the scene from last night surfaced in his mind—Ian threatening her with her small leg that if it happened again, she’d be eating vegetables every day...
Ian’s familiar rimless glasses were back on his nose, immediately making his gaze much sharper, distracting others from noticing how beautiful his eyes were...
Ian had already anticipated it.
Sure enough, a sizable food box filled with meat, all kinds of it.
The air seemed to be drenched in a greasy aroma.
Turning to look at Maya, he saw she had even set out the bowls and chopsticks, handing him a pair, "Honey, I carefully prepared all this for you, eat it while it’s hot!"
Ian couldn’t help but smile wryly, for a moment even feeling this was Maya’s way of exacting revenge on him.
But he quickly realized it couldn’t be, Maya liked him so much.
Though he hadn’t moved his hands yet, his stomach had already contorted in discomfort.
Ian preferred light flavors and disliked greasy meat dishes, rarely touching alcohol.
"Honey, hurry and eat, I picked all these just for you, give them a try!"
Yet facing her expectant eyes for just a moment, Ian found he still couldn’t withstand it.
He endured the discomfort and took a bite, the juices bursting in his mouth.
After a silent moment, Ian commented, "Delicious."
Maya started serving him more food, "If it’s delicious, eat more!"
For Maya to stomach her own bizarre cooking without a change in expression was proof of her love for him, so eating a little more meat for her was nothing... just a bit of fatty meat...
Ian forced himself through the stomach discomfort with a few more bites, holding his forehead to rest a bit, "I’m full, let’s save the rest."
Seeing her goal achieved, Maya didn’t torment him further, "Then don’t eat anymore, you filled up so quickly, hubby you really have a small bird stomach."
The term "small bird stomach" sounded far from manly; Ian’s expression turned slightly rigid, but seeing her so happy, he didn’t argue back.
If Maya could eat her own dark culinary creations, being teased a bit was no big deal...
Watching Ian’s not-so-great expression, Maya felt utterly pleased.
Soon after, Ian had an important meeting, and Maya seized the opportunity to say she’d head home.
Ian agreed, reminding her to stay safe on the way back.
While waiting for the elevator, Maya didn’t expect to run into Yvonne Hall again.
"Long time no see, Ms. Monroe."
