The Ultimate Chance-Chapter 157
"Damon," Avery moaned as her orgasm washed over her. She opened her eyes and Damon was not straddling her, pounding into her like she thought he was. Instead, she saw him sitting on the couch with his laptop on his lap, watching her with a grin.
"Watching you have a sex dream is the hottest thing I’ve ever watched." He smirked. He was hard from hearing her moan and whimper and since she had gone to bed with a tank top and nothing else, he had quite the view with her writhing in pleasure.
It was a dream? She blushed, forcing her legs back together. It had felt so real. But now that she thought about it, he couldn’t have dressed up and sat on the couch so fast. It wasn’t the first time she had these dreams and they always ended the same way.
"It’s not my fault I’m constantly horny." She rolled her eyes. "You always have your hardness pressed against my backside all night."
"Well, then I’ll take responsibility for my actions." He winked and set his laptop aside, walking over to the bed in huge strides. Watching him undress always put her on edge and she couldn’t keep her eyes off him. He was hard from watching her, straining against his pajama pants. She was soaking wet by the time he lay a single finger on her and she couldn’t wait anymore.
"I need you," she pleaded.
He slipped a finger into her and groaned in desire. "So wet for me. I want to spend all day in bed with you."
Just as he sunk into her, however, her alarm went off.
"Fuck, the open house is today." She cursed. Since she had agreed to move in with him, they had put her house up for sale and had gotten calls faster than they thought. Today they would meet the first batch of potential buyers. "Why did I decide to do this myself?"
He snoozed the alarm without stopping. "Let’s see how fast I can make you come."
In ten seconds flat, it turned out. She was already on edge from her dream and he kept hitting that spot inside her that felt so good, over and over. He grinned mischievously and pulled out of her, then he lapped up her climax like he’d been starving for it.
When she came down from the high of her orgasm, she ran a hand down his abdomen and held his cock in her hand but he peeled her hand off him and stopped her. "You need to get ready for the open house."
"But you..." she eyed his hardness. He was throbbing.
"I’ll be fine. We will have the whole of tonight to ourselves. Now, go on. You hate being late."
She blinked. Did he just ’wham bam and you can thank me ma’am’ her?

Since her house was just down the street, it didn’t take long to get there. Her first potential buyers were already there and Mina was showing them around. It was a family of three, and she was glad they were admiring one of the paintings on the living room wall when she and Damon arrived.
"Sorry I’m late." She didn’t follow up her apology with an explanation. How could she tell him she was late because Damon couldn’t keep his hands to himself? He had joined her in the shower and ended up giving her two orgasms before he finally let her get cleaned up, because he would leave for Hustace that afternoon and would only be back two days later, and he didn’t want her to have to take care of herself.
"Avery Vaillant?" The man gasped when he turned and saw her.
For a moment, she thought he was one of the people who recognized her from the news that kept circulating her, then she frowned at how familiar he looked. It took a moment for her mind to locate where she had seen him. She was equally surprised. "Michael O’connor?"
"I can’t believe it really is you. I’ve been hearing all about you but I thought it had to be someone who shared your name. You look so...different." He ran his eyes over her.
She chuckled. "I could say the same about you. It’s been close to seven years, after all."
She and Michael knew each other in university and although no one ever said it to her face, everyone thought Michael would be the guy Gabe would approve of for his sister. Some even thought they were dating and they were right about him earning Gabe’s approval. If any other guy had rumors circulating him and her, Gabe would break his nose for merely existing. He didn’t seem to give two hoots about Michael.
"You look so beautiful." He said, still in disbelief from seeing her again.
"Michael O’connor?" Damon came up beside her, making it a point to snake an arm around her waist.
Michael was shocked too. "Damon? I didn’t think I’d ever see you again...or see you two together."
"We were always going to end up together." He stared down at Michael like he was competition.
Michael looked amused. "And you somehow conquered Gabe and his minions?"
"You won’t believe it but they have become best friends now." Avery exaggerated with a laugh.
"And Avery and I have a son together." Damon possessively announced. She jabbed him before he also announced that they were expecting another baby. Michael congratulated them and brought over the woman he had come with.
"I never introduced you to my sister, Kimberly. This is my niece, Kat."
"It’s nice to meet you both." She smiled at Kimberly and Kat, who were just as friendly and enthusiastic.
She then showed them around the house, answering all their questions about each room. When another viewer came in, Damon left their side to discuss with her.
"The pool is already baby-proofed." She said when they got to the swimming pool.
"Did you live here with your son?" Kimberly asked, having noticed that the entire house was baby-proof.
"I did, until a few weeks ago, actually." She winked. It was the reason why she’d been so reluctant to move out. This had been hers and Angel’s home for years. But again, it made no sense to have two houses with the same structure on the same street. Damon had joked about keeping it for when they didn’t want to keep it down at night but that was what sound-proofing was for. Besides, he already had a cottage where they could go whenever they wanted to take a break.
Kimberly liked the house already and as soon as she saw the rooftop terrace and home office, she decided it was the one they would settle for. Michael didn’t seem to care about the aesthetics and said it would be great as long as he had a billiards room.
"That can be arranged." She said as she put it down in her notepad.
"Why don’t you let me know once you’re certain?" Michael suggested and handed her a business card with his personal contact number scribbled at the back. "Kimberly is the one who made the appointment and therefore the one whose contact number you have. Don’t get me wrong, it would be okay if you communicated with her but my sister is way too forgetful."
Kimberly rolled her eyes. "Fuck off."
Avery chuckled. "I’ll let you know as soon as I have it in order."
Soon after she saw them out, she ran into Damon who had just shown the house to the other buyer, tactfully avoiding her path.
"That was fast." She raised a brow.
"They want a library thrice as big as this one." He explained their quick departure.
"Oh." She wasn’t disappointed, not like they were in a hurry to sell it. Besides, "Kimberly likes everything. Michael will be willing to buy it if there’s a billiards room in it for him. We could convert one of the spare rooms."
"Michael?" He frowned. "Who will be living here, exactly?"
She hadn’t asked. "All of them, I guess? They seemed to run each decision by each other." That, and Kimberly mentioned her daughter’s father was not in the picture. That part was not her story to tell so she kept it to herself.
Damon looked displeased about it, which made her frown. "What’s wrong?"
"Just the thought of him living in the same street as you. Did you see the way he was looking at you?"
She had not noticed anything inappropriate about Michael’s conduct. But again, she wasn’t looking for any.
She sighed in exasperation. "Please tell me you’re not about to dismiss a buyer because you think I might get hit on by him."
"Oh he wants to hit on you alright. He was checking you out when he thought no one was noticing. And that stunt he pulled with giving you his contact card and asking for yours? Trust me, he will contact you but it will have nothing to do with the house." He smirked. "But I won’t dismiss him for that. On the contrary, I’ll show you what you’ll be missing if you left me for him."
"You arrogant narcissist." She laughed and squealed when he picked her up and headed for her old bedroom. When he put her down on the bed, she chuckled. "Damon, this house is up for sale."
"Yeah, we should give it a proper goodbye." He kissed her.
Then he spent the rest of the morning showing her what she would be missing if she chose Michael over him.
