The Villain Mom Awakens — Going Viral by Parenting on a Reality Show-Chapter 88: Picking Out Clothes
Naomi Kenway had never picked out clothes for anyone besides herself and Ian, so she didn’t have much experience. She simply asked the sales associate to recommend a few outfits.
She specifically stressed that she didn’t want any suits. Even if Ethan Shaw wasn’t sick of them, she was starting to get tired of seeing him in them. After all, they would be spending so much time together, seeing each other day in and day out. Naomi put her full concentration into picking out the clothes.
It had to be said that Ethan Shaw was a natural model. Paired with his handsome face, he could perfectly pull off any outfit. With a grand wave of her hand, Naomi had all the outfits she liked packed up, paying with her own card.
Ethan Shaw raised an eyebrow but didn’t say anything.
Naomi was most pleased with a light-colored polo shirt and slacks set. Perhaps it was the softer colors, but they seemed to soften his entire aura, making him look gentler. Plus, the outfit was very youthful. It made Ethan look like a college student.
After they finished shopping, Ethan wanted to change back into his old clothes, but Naomi stopped him. "Just keep this one on. I think it looks great. We can start trying out different styles right now."
Ian Shaw chimed in at the perfect moment, seconding Naomi’s praise. "Daddy is the second most handsome person in the world!"
Ethan Shaw bent down slightly and asked him, "Who’s number one?"
"Ian is number one! Ian is the world’s most handsome boy!"
The nearby sales associates covered their mouths to stifle their laughter at Ian’s adorable, childish words.
The corners of Ethan Shaw’s lips turned up in a smile. He picked Ian Shaw up and asked him, "Who told you that?"
Ian Shaw hadn’t said things like this before.
"Mommy! Mommy said Ian is the most handsome!"
Ethan Shaw glanced over at Naomi Kenway.
Naomi Kenway raised her eyebrows. "My son *is* very handsome. That’s just confidence!"
Ian Shaw rested on Ethan Shaw’s shoulder as the family walked out of the mall.
"You really like to shop?" Ethan Shaw suddenly asked.
"More or less. Maybe it’s the feeling of browsing and buying things. It gives me a sense of accomplishment."
In reality, with her family’s wealth, Naomi Kenway had no need to go out and buy clothes herself. New items from designer brands were delivered to the manor on a regular basis, and that didn’t even include her custom-tailored clothing.
Ethan Shaw nodded thoughtfully. In his arms, Ian Shaw suddenly stretched out his little arms, asking for his mommy.
Ethan Shaw hefted Ian, feeling the boy’s recently gained weight. He then glanced at Naomi Kenway’s slender figure and refused his son’s request once more.
Ian Shaw’s lip trembled. His mommy usually carried him, but ever since his daddy started staying by their side, he couldn’t get back into her warm arms.
"Let me hold Ian. I haven’t held him in a while."
Ian Shaw happily started calling out for his mommy.
"Don’t worry, I’m strong."
Naomi Kenway took Ian from Ethan Shaw’s arms and affectionately nuzzled his cheek. "Did you miss Mommy?"
Ian nodded, looking wronged.
「Mall Parking Garage」
Jeanette Kensington opened her car door but froze. She called out to Caleb Bishop, pointing ahead in disbelief. "Look, isn’t that Nia? Why is she out messing around with a child and some strange man?"
Caleb Bishop only caught a fleeting glimpse of their backs as the trio got into a luxury car, which then drove out of the parking garage.
"Maybe it’s her husband?"
Jeanette Kensington replied, "Impossible. When would Ethan Shaw have time to go shopping with Nia? Their relationship is awful. That man looked pretty young. He’s probably some boy toy Nia is keeping..." She bit her lip as she spoke. "This is outrageous! If the paparazzi get a picture of this, won’t our Kenway Family be disgraced along with her?"
"Nia’s been so rebellious lately. I heard from my dad that she deleted all of our family members’ contact information..." Jeanette Kensington’s brow furrowed, and she suddenly said, "This won’t do. I have to tell Dad about this before she makes some irreversible mistake!"
Caleb Bishop took her hand. "We should stay out of things that have nothing to do with us."
"What... do you mean?" Jeanette Kensington looked at Caleb Bishop suspiciously. "Why are you trying to stop me from telling on Naomi Kenway? Or is it that you still have feelings for her? You can’t bear to see her get in trouble..."
Seeing her train of thought go off the rails, Caleb Bishop felt a headache coming on. "I haven’t been in contact with her for five or six years. I deleted all her contact information a long time ago. You know that. Jan, please stop being so suspicious of me."
Jeanette Kensington’s eyes reddened. Back when Rose Kenway died unexpectedly, control of the Kenway Family passed into Jackson Kensington’s hands. Only then had Caleb Bishop finally accepted her advances.
She loved Caleb Bishop deeply, but she couldn’t help but wonder if his reasons for agreeing to be with her weren’t entirely pure.
Naomi Kenway was foolish, but she was undeniably beautiful. Caleb Bishop was fair-skinned and handsome himself. A picture of the two of them holding hands went viral on the campus forums back in the day, and you can still find traces of it if you search online. They had been so close back then that when Jeanette Kensington’s plan finally succeeded, it felt surreal.
They had been together for five years, but her time with Caleb Bishop felt like a beautiful illusion.
An inexplicable panic welled up inside Jeanette Kensington. She gripped Caleb Bishop’s arm tightly, her long, sharp nails nearly digging into his flesh.
Caleb Bishop frowned, gently prying her hand away. "It’s true that I dated Naomi Kenway, but it didn’t take long for me to realize she was... crass and unbearable. The only person I love is you. Only you... are the one who’s right for me."
"Can we please stop this? If we hadn’t come back this time, I would’ve almost forgotten what Naomi Kenway even looks like."
"Really?" Jeanette Kensington regained her composure.
"Aren’t five years enough proof? Why can’t you just trust me? You’re the only one I’m going to marry!"
The conviction in his voice slowly won Jeanette Kensington over. Her tone softened. "I’m sorry, Caleb. It’s my fault. I just let my imagination run wild."
Once she calmed down, she felt she had been overthinking. Caleb Bishop was an internationally renowned, up-and-coming painter who preferred a quiet life and had a kind heart. Naomi Kenway, on the other hand, had a nasty disposition and a foul temper. There was no way the two of them could ever get involved with each other now.
Caleb Bishop personally opened the car door for her. "Have you been under too much stress lately? Is your old problem acting up again? Let’s go to the hospital first."
"But don’t you have that fan meet-and-greet today...?"
"What fan meet-and-greet could ever be more important than you?" Caleb Bishop was turned slightly to the side, so Jeanette Kensington could only see the straight bridge of his nose. Her heart was finally put completely at ease.
Jeanette Kensington had debuted overseas. While she gained immense popularity, the immense pressure caused her to suffer from chronic insomnia. Her condition hadn’t improved for several years, and it was Caleb Bishop who had taken her to see doctors about it.
Sitting in the passenger seat, Jeanette Kensington still pulled out her phone. "What Nia’s doing is just shameless. I have to tell Dad so he can talk some sense into her. What if this gets leaked and the Shaw Family demands a divorce? The Kenway Family is in a tough spot right now; we can’t afford another blow!" 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢
Caleb Bishop’s hands, gripping the steering wheel, paused for a moment. This time, he didn’t try to stop her.

Naomi Kenway suddenly received a phone call. The person on the other end immediately started screaming at her, their words incredibly harsh.
