The Villainess Cannot Escape — Five Beast Husbands Chase Her Madly-Chapter 63: Finding a Clue to the Toxin
"Nourish my ass!"
Su An’an angrily flicked Little Pink’s steel shell.
"I’m just physically exhausted! What does that have to do with ’recovering’?"
Besides, she wasn’t a man, so why would she need to "recover"?!
"Your Highness, I’m serious. You really need to improve your physical constitution."
"Once, a delicious piece of snake meat was placed before you."
"But you did not cherish it. If only..."
"Less binge-watching dramas, more work."
Su An’an rolled her eyes and instructed,
"Hurry up and help me draft a proposal."
"Figure out how to make a cheap and effective standard version of the Blood Frenzy Pill available to all the beasts on Beast Star."
If the male beasts’ spiritual power stabilized,
they would have no excuse to go to the concentration camps to torture and bully the Wasted Females.
"Your Highness, if you release the news about the standard Blood Frenzy Pill,"
"the Empire Hundred Great Pharmaceutical Industry will definitely be on their knees begging to work with you."
"I have no desire to work with them. They only care about money; their hearts are completely black."
Su An’an curled her lip, her face full of disdain.
"I’m looking for the Interstellar equivalent of certain famous entrepreneurs."
Those two entrepreneurs from Ancient Earth.
One was generous and magnanimous, sharing a large portion of the company’s profits with his employees and leading everyone to prosperity.
The other focused on employee happiness and customer experience, running his business with warmth and a human touch.
’I, Su An’an, need to make money, but I also have to keep my conscience.’
’I can’t betray my principles for profit.’
"I’m searching for you now."
"Uh! There are... zero beasts who meet your requirements."
"If there are none, I’ll cultivate one myself. Help me screen for potential candidates worth developing."
Su An’an had already expected this result.
In the dog-eat-dog Beast World, where even the air reeked of blood,
’how could there be a "conscience" willing to share its profits?’
"DING! Three hundred suitable candidates found!"
"Top recommendation: A Level male beast of the Mouse Clan, Jox, also known as the Money Rat!"
"Wait!"
Su An’an thought for a moment and asked,
"Was the couples’ edition video communicator I just ordered one of his products?"
"That’s right. And it’s just one of his businesses."
"His burner account for browsing, ’Ninth Concubine of the Mouse Family,’ belongs to one of your most die-hard fans!"
"Not only has he tipped millions of Star Coins, but every time you stream, the way he goes after haters in the comments is fiercer than a female beast!"
"What?"
Su An’an’s eyes widened.
"I always thought the Ninth Concubine of the Mouse Family was a feisty female beast."
’I can’t believe he’s a male.’
’No wonder his every word could shatter the fragile egos of male beasts.’
’It takes a male beast to know a male beast!’
"His background is unique. His father, Sleek Rat, was once a renowned and powerful male beast of the Mouse Clan."
"After becoming the clan leader, he married nine sisters from the White-haired Mouse Family all at once."
"Eight of the nine sisters were Wasted Females with no fertility. Only the youngest sister, Ah Jin, was a Holy Female with extremely high fertility."
"For Ah Jin’s sake, Sleek Rat ignored the strong opposition from powerful figures and insisted on letting her eight Wasted Female sisters live normally within the clan."
"Badass!"
Su An’an gave a thumbs-up.
Sending Wasted Females to concentration camps was an unwritten rule in the Beast World.
Sleek Rat’s actions were a direct challenge to the beliefs of the entire Beast World.
"He was badass, alright, but his end was rather tragic."
"Because he challenged authority to protect Wasted Females, he was relentlessly targeted by various factions."
"One day, Ah Jin suddenly disappeared, and not long after, he was assassinated."
"The Mouse Clan was left without a leader and fell apart under the pressure from all sides."
"A seventeen-year-old Jox and his four full-blooded brothers became wandering beasts."
"This continued until Jox awakened his talent for mechanics and founded the ’Xueli’ company."
"Only then could he support his four brothers, earning money while searching for their missing mother."
"Recently, the Jox Five Rats have been acting like madmen, frantically reporting the locations of Rebel Army hideouts."
"They’ve probably dug up some crucial clue."
"Aren’t they afraid of retaliation from those lunatics in the Rebel Army?"
Su An’an furrowed her brow.
The Rebel Army was ruthless and unscrupulous.
Even she, a dignified Princess with five top-tier Beast Husbands backing her,
had to carefully hide at home to avoid them.
To say nothing of the five rat brothers, who were just merchants.
"The five rats fear nothing in their quest for revenge."
Little Pink greatly admired their courage.
’But if anyone dared to harm its princess,’
’even if it meant being smashed to pieces,’
’it would stop at nothing to get revenge.’
Ptooey, ptooey, ptooey!
’The Princess is blessed with great fortune.’
’She won’t run into any of that awful trouble!’
Su An’an asked,
"Can you check what kind of clue he found?"
The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
If possible, she wanted to help the five rat brothers.
"I’ll check now. He has a classified document on his personal terminal."
"It records that before his mother, Holy Female Ah Jin, disappeared, she often suffered from splitting headaches."
"She became extremely strange, frequently losing control and muttering that something in her sea of consciousness was controlling her."
A blurry surveillance video appeared before Su An’an.
In the footage, a beautiful, white-haired young woman walked with unsteady steps.
She moved mechanically out the main gate, like a puppet.
Her eyes were filled with terror and confusion.
It was as if she were fighting against a powerful and evil force.
A sharp pain suddenly stabbed at Su An’an’s temples.
The shadow in her sea of consciousness began to stir violently, as if it had received a mysterious command.
"She was afflicted by the same poison as me."
Su An’an was instantly covered in a fine sheen of sweat, her hands pressing hard against her temples.
Three tentacles sensed their master’s crisis.
They viciously lashed out at the shadow, forcibly suppressing it.
"Contact the Money Rat immediately. I’m going to investigate this personally."
Su An’an took a deep breath, her gaze filled with resolve.
The atmosphere in the Mouse Clan conference room in Chaoyue District was so heavy it was nearly suffocating.
Jox, with his brown hair and brown eyes, sat upright at the head of the conference table.
To his left, his four full-blooded brothers—with their severed arms, crippled legs, and blinded eyes—sat side by side.
"Jox!" The High Priest slammed his hand on the table and roared,
"Are you trying to get the entire Mouse Clan wiped out with your insane reporting of the Rebel Army?"
"Back then, your father refused to listen to reason and insisted on going against those powerful figures, bringing disaster upon our family."
"And now you’re about to make the same mistake."
"Look at your four brothers! Look how pitiful they’ve become because of your obsession!"
The four brothers instantly bristled with anger.
The eldest brother, the one with the severed arm, slammed his remaining left hand on the table and roared,
"What do you know, you old bastard!"
"We would gladly be smashed to pieces to avenge our father!"
"Jox is doing the right thing, and we’ll always support him!"
The other brothers chimed in with their agreement.
The conference room devolved into chaos, with curses and arguments rising and falling.
Jox looked at the broken bodies of his full-blooded brothers, a flicker of conflict and confusion in his eyes.
’All these years, they had sacrificed so, so much for revenge, for their search for their mother.’
’Was it really worth it?’
Just as he was about to be crushed by the immense pressure,
his communicator suddenly rang.
He glanced down, his eyes widening, and quickly answered the call.
A holographic image of Princess Su An’an appeared before the assembled members of the Mouse Clan.
She stood tall, her pretty face stern, exuding an innate, noble aura.
The conference room fell silent in an instant, every eye drawn to her.
Su An’an scanned the room.
Her crisp, cold voice was like a clap of thunder, shattering the Mouse Clan’s deadlock.
It brought a ray of hope to Jox, who was trapped in a dark abyss.
"I want to speak with you personally about the matter of the Rebel Army."
