Chapter 139: What About Wedding Photos?!

The interviewer smiled and finally shifted her attention to Nicholas, asking, "Now, what else is your plan for your entertainment business after this movie is released?"

"I’ll invest in a TV series with Abigail’s own novel."

What?!

Abigail’s eyes widened.

Wait a minute! She didn’t agree with this! Why didn’t he ask her before doing something like this, ah?! She looked at the camera and pursed her lips.

She so wanted to refuse, but she was on camera and had to act like a refined lady! This damned man knew she wouldn’t be able to speak a single word or even glare at him! That’s why he must have spoken in front of the entire world about this on purpose so that she wouldn’t have any power to refuse!

She silently guided her hand toward his waist from where the camera wasn’t watching her moves and suddenly pinched his waist.

Alas! Nicholas looked like he wasn’t bothered by it at all. He continued to stare at the interviewer and smiled. "That’s good news. Is it the same novel she’s writing?"

"Yes."

"No!" Abigail finally opened her mouth when she realized her husband didn’t listen to her. But when she looked at the interviewer glancing at her weirdly, she coughed and said, "I meant, my novel’s not even half finished yet. Maybe we will postpone it to later."

"Yes," Nicholas patted her hand gently and looked at her with a gentle expression almost as if making Abigail by his sense of attention toward her, saying, "We will do it by the end of this year."

It’s that smile again! Abigail’s mouth shut automatically as she stared at his face, stunned. She couldn’t move her eyes away from his face at all!

This was so unfair! If he wanted her to shut up, he just had to show that crazy, mild smile of his! Not fair at all!

Nicholas released the breath he was holding and firmly held the woman’s hands.

Success! He got to trick her and receive this benefit at the same time. Honestly, ever since reading her novel, he had been having weird dreams. Sometimes, he would remember; sometimes, he would forget. Thus, under the garb of making a movie, why not read that story from start to end without being stopped by her?

Nicholas liked this plan very much. Honestly, he had indeed tried to read her novel after that day when she wasn’t around, but he found, to his misfortune, that her laptop was password-locked.

He could only keep it aside, feeling lost. She actually locked the laptop. That meant she didn’t want him to read it anymore. Thus, Nicholas could only put the matter aside and continue his work.

Now that he spoke out loud, he could make Abigail give him the rights to her novel. He would then read it all he wanted.

He was pleased with his idea as he continued to look at the interviewer, nodding at her.

"Well then, I guess we will be waiting for this new TV series." The interviewer felt the corners of her mouth twitching. Can these two stop spreading dog food already?! She knew they were a couple, a very loving one at that! Then why this unnecessary show-off?!

She looked at them and changed the topic. "Mr. Harrison, what do you have to say about the movie released today? It’s your first international work of yours. Any thoughts?"

Nicholas nodded and opened his mouth, ignoring the still dazed and slightly angry Abigail on his side. "I have thought about investing in an international movie before, but I clearly failed to do so because of various reasons. Now, with this historycal movie, I plan to enter the fantasy romance world of Country B."

"So basically," said the interviewer as she tried to sound less direct, "you’re going to challenge one of the few topmost companies here?"

What she meant was if Harrison Entertainment meant to directly challenge The Abyss Entertainment of Country B or not. Everyone knew that The Abyss Entertainment excelled in the fantasy romance realm, creating one hit after another to show across the world. That’s why, even if she didn’t spell it, her words would definitely create a buzz in the market.

"Yes." Nicholas also didn’t want to hide his intention. He wasn’t like Asher, who only managed one company, The Abyss. The former was busy handling several businesses under the Harrison corporation, so much so that his all-rounder assistant hardly had enough time to go on a date with his girlfriend.

Now that he was watching his wife stepping into the entertainment world, he thought maybe it was time to raise this business of his in this country and pull Asher back to his place.

Maybe that’s how Abigail won’t see the man seriously as she did as of now.

Nicholas would certainly not admit it to even himself that he was jealous as heck. He only looked at the interviewer, refusing even to glance at his wife sitting beside him.

Abigail returned to her senses after hearing his words and frowned.

Even if she were to be the most stupid girl ever, she still knew what the man meant. He wanted to go against Asher head-on and show the man the actual stature of the Harrison corporation.

And he says he wasn’t jealous.

Abigail scoffed and crossed her arms on her chest, wanting this interview to end already. After a few technical details, the lady finally said, "Alright, we are done for here. I was glad I could interview you."

"Likewise." Even if Nicholas weren’t glad, he would surely not speak those words at the interviewer’s face. He continued looking at her with a cold and indifferent face.

The lady turned toward Abigail and asked, "I also want to thank you. Mrs. Abigail for joining us, uh, before going, I do have a personal question to ask you guys."

"Sure." Abigail gestured as she smiled, or she tried to smile without letting the interviewer see how eager she was to get out of there.

"Well, what about wedding photos?" The interviewer felt embarrassed upon talking about it. "I’m sure Mr. Harrison’s fans are excited to see his wedding pics, right? Even I want to see it. So..."

Even though the woman didn’t speak directly, she expressed the desire to see the wedding pics, making Abigail stunned. She looked at the interviewer in a dazed state as she wondered how should she answer.

It was a marriage contract.

No, I don’t like taking pics. So...

Or should she just say, ’We are still in the process because we just got married privately?’
