The Villainess Married The Evil CEO-Chapter 143: Blushing Abigail~
Abigail’s entire face turned red as she nodded. "En."
Now let go, please! Ah, her heart was beating so fast that she couldn’t even remember where she was anymore!
Nicholas looked down at her adorable, red face as the corners of his lips curved up. It was at that moment when someone snapped their picture one after another. This pose would surely become famous throughout the fanbase Nicholas had developed all these years.
But for now, Abigail merely stumbled away and gulped as she tried to keep pace with him. Her mind was full of the scene she had witnessed before, Nicholas whispering into her ears, making her heart throbbing in her chest.
No, she didn’t want to think about it anymore! But the more she tried not to think about it, the more that scene appeared in front of her eyes like some plague, capturing her heart and soul.
He was already holding her wrist by the time she returned to her senses. They had already entered the theater and she looked around.
Since she couldn’t see clearly in the dark, she accidentally bumped into Nicholas’s back from the side. The man suddenly stopped and turned toward her, staring at her in the darkness.
Even though she couldn’t see anything, Abigail felt like the man was looking down at her with narrowed eyes as he asked, "You seem like you really want to fall in my arms today."
Abigail’s heart jumped in her chest.
Ah.... What happened to her husband?! Why the heck was he being so active?!
Damn, he was going all out today, wasn’t he?
She swallowed and averted her eyes and said, "C-Can we just take a seat?"
"Sure." Nicholas’s eyes were filled with amusement as he took her to their designated seat. Along with them, several other investors and staff members were seated. Upon seeing Nicholas, they all stood up, wanting to shake hands with him, but when they saw Abigail following behind him, they all curbed themselves as the director smiled.
"Welcome, Mr. Harrison. I hope you have had a good journey."
Nicholas nodded and sat on the side after helping his wife.
"Is that your wife?" The director was a little bit curious about her because he had known Nicholas for a long time, and they had already partnered for several hit movies and TV series. All this time, he never thought a man as cold and indifferent as Nicholas would be married at such a young age.
After all, he was only twenty-five years old!
"En." Nicholas turned and introduced them. "Abigail, James," He pointed to the director and then looked at the man before gesturing to his wife, "And this is my wife, Abigail."
For some reason, Abigail felt her heart warming up after hearing those words. She coughed and nodded, saying nothing. What could she say with this kind of blushing face?
Ahem, why was she blushing anyway? Isn’t she the one who didn’t want this unwanted marriage and found love after getting out of this? This was why she had been keen to work as an actress in the first place!
Of course, she liked acting, but that didn’t mean she would have to jump into the industry and make a name for herself!
In any case, she would keep her stage name as Olivia with that facemask. If not, her private life would be destroyed completely by people. She was already famous because of her dear husband.
Wait, wasn’t she forgetting something?
Ah....
Proving how she didn’t like Owen.
Abigail’s face dropped as she frowned, thinking hard about it. She still couldn’t come up with anything. What the heck should she do?!
"What are you frowning about?" Nicholas’s voice echoed into her ears.
"How should I prove....?" Abigail unconsciously blurted out those words, regretting it the next second. She instantly looked toward the man only to see a mild smile on his face that vanished without a trace the next second.
She became furious as she pointed her finger at his face. "You have no right to call me crazy!"
Nicholas nodded. "You are not crazy."
Why in the world would he call her crazy when, in fact, she was quite adorable?
Abigail narrowed her eyes, and when she was about to say a single word, the movie started. Then, she threw a few words at him. "Shh, let’s watch the movie for now."
Nicholas thus turned toward the movie with his full concentration on the screen like never before. He seemed like he didn’t care a single bit about his wife.
Of course, Abigail also started watching the movie, and it was good. Back in the asylum, she never got to go to the theaters. This was the first time in her life that she managed to enter this place, and damn, the voice was so loud! Her ears almost felt like they were vibrating from all the noise, but she liked it!
And most importantly, she even witnessed this first theater moment with her husband, Nicholas Harrison! The character she created in her own novel!
Of course, these days, she wasn’t seeing the man as merely a character anymore. He was slowly turning into a full-fledged human being for her, and this world was also slowly transforming into a reality.
Abigail wondered if she ever returned, what would her reaction be? The thing she had feared the most had already happened. She had started to become one with this world, and now, she didn’t want to part with these wonderful people.
Yes, she was slowly heading into a state of confusion, having both Asher and Nicholas chasing after her like crazy. The fact that she liked them both would be a huge headache in the future, and if she had to choose one among the two...
Abigail didn’t want to think about it. But one thing was for sure. She didn’t want to return to her original world anymore.
If she wanted to stay here, why not make her life better? She was already married to a billionaire. She had all the money and power in the world.
Just...
She had to hide from a crazy murderer. So what of it? It wasn’t like there wasn’t a police force to drag that damned killer behind the bars. She would be fine... right?
