Chapter 175: I’ll Do As You Said

Abigail’s eyes stared back in shock. Her body remained frozen as if she couldn’t register what just happened.

She seemed to have been kissed to the point of suffocation...

Not just that, he was even sucking her tongue....

Her entire face turned blood red as she swallowed and stuttered, "You.... You.... You...."

She couldn’t even speak another word after that. She was so flustered that her entire body trembled as she pursed her lips and silently pulled the blanket on her head, hiding inside like a cocoon.

Then after a long time, she seemed to have mustered up the courage and muffled him a few words: "Get out...."

Her voice was so soft and low that it tickled Nichoals’s heart. He couldn’t help but feel amused. But since he had already gotten such a healthy dish early in the morning, he wouldn’t trouble her anymore. After all, what’s the point of forcing her too much when he could slowly and carefully craft his way into her heart?

First, he would let her taste a bit of sweetness, and then he would distance her a little to let her enjoy it. Women do have a very weird habit of constantly reminding themselves of what they did the entire time throughout the day, especially of the happy and pleasurable moments. It would keep repeating in their heads in a loop.

Thus, when she relieved that memory a couple of times, she would definitely hanker for it. And when she did, he wouldn’t be out of reach and give her whatever she wanted.

A careful strategy. Nicholas felt like he really was good at chasing women even though he was doing this kind of thing for the first time in his life. The corner of his lips ticked up slightly as he said, "I’ll go to the office today. So stay put. Call me if you need anything, okay?"

"Okay...." Abigail muffled a reply and continued to hide inside her blanket.

Nicholas found it funny that his wife turned out to be a shy type. How come she was not when making trouble for him and destroying things right and left? How come she wasn’t shy when she had deliberately kissed his cheek for the first time to get back at him in public?

Only now she knew how to be shy....

He sighed and shook his head, getting off the bed quickly. When he was done with washing up, he realized Abigail had accidentally fallen asleep again and her sleepy face had stuck out of her quilt. He walked closer only to hear her breathing evenly with her lips slightly parted.

He bent over and tucked the strand of shoulder that was already on her face, moving slightly as she breathed out. He stared at her face for a long time as if he couldn’t wait to take all of her in his heart, stuffing it and locking her with iron chains deep in there so that she wouldn’t be able to get out of his sight again and find other people like Asher.

His eyes softened as he stared at her his finger slid from her ears as he rubbed her earlobes gently before finally reaching her slightly parted lips. He knew that he shouldn’t do this, but he couldn’t help it anymore.

Who told her to look so adorable that even he, the cold and indifferent CEO, who almost thought he had turned gay or asexual, would fall flat in front of her heart, staring at her in awe and heart full of love. His chest felt warmer as he rubbed her fingers against her slightly parted lips.

Abigail frowned at first as she felt something tickling on her lips. Thus, she sleepily raised her hand and acted as if she were swatting a fly only to be caught by someone’s hand. Her brows furrowed deeper as she struggled.

How come a fly had such a strong hand....?

She abruptly opened her eyes only to see a familiar face staring close at herself with an intense gaze. No, that’s not the point. His entire body.... At least his upper body was entirely naked. Thus, she received a strong and intense surprise early in the morning in the form of an intense kiss and now, she was even showered with this delicious scene.

Her heart couldn’t take it anymore as she instantly pulled the blanket up her head and hid her blushing face once again, not willing to come out.

At first, Nicholas tried to get her out, but when he realized she didn’t want to and was even holding the blanket with a death grip, he let her be. After he got dressed, he hesitated and walked over to her, bending down at her level.

He caressed her face from outside the blanket and felt her move from the inside as if she were trying to avoid his hand desperately. He sighed and moved his hand away, saying, "How about you come with me?"

Abigail shook her head desperately, not even muffling her words anymore. She was so shy that she couldn’t even think straight anymore at this time.

Nicholas raised his brows and decided to throw a bait at her.

"Well, my dear wife, what if Rebecca comes and surprises me? Who will save me at that time?"

That sentence froze Abigail in an instant. She blinked as her entire face turned cold once again. Her thumping heart also calmed down a lot as she slowly pulled down the blanket, looking at the man with an aggrieved expression on her face.

"You.... Don’t go..." Even though Abigail had already been over Asher by now, she still had a psychological shadow upon hearing Rebecca’s name. Up until now, she had already forgotten about her because of Nicholas’s constant flirting.

Now that her name once again reminded her of unpleasant memories, she realized no matter what, she couldn’t let anything happen to Nicholas anymore just like Asher. She would do anything to save him. After all, right now, it wasn’t even about saving her own *ss as before. She only wanted to be with him, see him smile faintly upon her antics, and even see him constantly flirting with her like some perfect protagonist of her novel.

She finally stared at his face hard and sighed, nodding. "Alright. I’ll do as you said."
