The Villainess Redeems Herself, The Beast Husbands are in a Daily Love Battle-Chapter 11: Impossible
With a shout, a group of werewolves wagged their tails and rushed over.
Their ears twitched, standing upright, expressions excited yet slightly innocent.
This bunch truly lacks wisdom.
But they still tried their best to restrain their sharp fangs, grinning widely.
Each one unable to hide the joy on their faces.
Hayden Langdon was silent for a moment, looking down at his hands.
His gaze fell on the missing tip of his right ring finger.
"Haven’t I already lost control?"
Yet that part of his memory was almost blank.
He remembered his emotions being violently uncontainable at the time.
If he didn’t find a stable emotional calm in time.
He would rather destroy himself than humbly ask for help.
Upon hearing Hayden’s words, the werewolf leader grinned.
Then, without hesitation, he waved his hand in a hearty manner.
"It’s good that you’re okay," his voice boomed, "That Female Master calmed you."
As soon as he finished speaking, everyone behind him dispersed to clean up the chaotic, devastated room caused by their previous scuffle.
"The Family Head’s attitude towards you won’t change, no matter what, the second young master cannot surpass you."
Seeing the things he had painstakingly prepared reduced to a mess.
Hayden could only suppress his anger, gritting his teeth, standing silently in place.
This sort of thing happened many times at home.
Once deemed useless, he would immediately be cast aside.
Even the most trivial resources would not come his way.
Others were busy clearing up the debris and clutter, no one noticed his suppressed emotions at this moment.
Taking advantage of the lack of attention, Hayden quietly lifted his head and stole a glance at Selene Kane.
His fingers inadvertently trembled slightly, his gaze low, his facial muscles stiff.
"Female Master, thank you for saving my life."
From beginning to end, Hayden was never a talkative person.
Clearly, he had angered her yesterday, yet today she still saved him?
Was this her sincerity, or did she have ulterior motives?
Could it be...
She wasn’t done toying with him?
Selene smiled slightly, her tone gentle.
"It’s good that you’re okay."
Her smile was sincere.
Hayden turned his face away, avoiding that familiar face that nonetheless made him defensive.
In his heart, he didn’t trust this woman at all.
Who in this world could be more ruthless than her?
Which of his brothers hadn’t suffered from her oppression?
If not for his elder brother helping him secretly multiple times.
He might have become one of the sacrifices.
He bit his lower lip hard, feeling deeply saddened by his inescapable fate.
As the family’s apparent heir, his task was quite clear.
Merely to mate with other potential females and produce offspring.
But, this woman before him, she must have a problem!
"Thank you for your concern."
As usual, Hayden quietly approached Selene.
Though just standing silently by her side, doing nothing extra.
His figure seemed taller than before when he was in human form.
She was acutely aware, if he truly wanted to do something to her, with his physique, he could easily lift her entirely.
Were it not for clear protective laws in this world.
If the males harbored ill intent, these females before them would probably have no resistance at all.
Selene couldn’t help but ponder.
Throughout the journey, Selene remained silent, not saying a single word.
Silent to an almost unnerving degree.
This made the already cautious Hayden increasingly restless.
Finally, he stopped at a junction.
He called softly: "Female Master."
The moment he spoke, Hayden very respectfully kneeled in front of her.
"Thank you, Female Master, for saving me."
Though it was Selene’s provocation and coercion that led to his momentary loss of control.
He also understood, as a male, especially one entrusted with obedience and protection.
It was his fate, and it was a rule he could not avoid.
Seeing this, Selene gently raised her hand, slowly lifting his chin with her fingers, forcing him to look at her directly.
"With such a handsome face, you should smile more in the future."
Selene spoke, her tone gentle.
But his response was Hayden’s tightly sealed lips.
He remained silent, his face devoid of any trace of a smile, his expression showing no fluctuation.
In this ongoing silence and confrontation, Selene awkwardly withdrew her hand.
"Have you forgotten?" 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
She suddenly spoke.
"Just now, you lay on my palm, crying and begging me to bring you back... That wasn’t the cold, alienating expression you have now."
Hayden’s eyes widened in shock, a look of bewilderment and panic on his face.
Perhaps seeing his obvious reaction.
Instead, Selene’s mood inexplicably brightened a little.
"You said you wanted to follow me, not only to be part of my circle but also to make sacrifices for so-called love, even willing to give up your original freedom."
"Now that you’re fed and full, have you forgotten all this?"
"Impossible!"
His tone was full of denial, as if this word could cover up all his wavering.
This time, Hayden rarely lost his composure.
"How could I possibly fall in love with such a cold and cruel woman like you."
When he said this, his eyes were filled with obvious hatred.
Selene’s expression instantly turned cold.
He only then realized he had spoken too harshly.
"I would never..."
He paused, as if using all his strength to squeeze out the next few words.
"Fall in love with you."
Faced with Hayden’s grinding denial, Selene showed a lazy demeanor, her slender fingers lightly propping up her cheek.
With a movement of her foot, she unintentionally stepped on Hayden’s kneeling thigh.
Her foot gently rubbed against his thigh.
This unexpected touch stunned Hayden.
Strangely, this time he didn’t show the usual aversion, nor did he instinctively avoid it.
"But I’m not the only one who heard it."
She suddenly began, her tone playful.
Then she raised her head, her lips curved into a charming arc.
"Master, don’t you think I’m right?"
As soon as she spoke, the spaceship in flight slightly trembled.
But the disturbance was quickly corrected by the control system.
It resumed its journey seamlessly, steady and undisturbed.
"The Female Master is right."
The voice of the pilot in the cockpit sounded faint.
Hearing such corroboration, Hayden’s face changed immediately.
"Impossible, I’m sure I didn’t say such things."
