Chapter 142

"Yes."

Weng Jiao: "I've been watching that TV series recently, and I must say the acting is quite good."

Lou Sasa: "What TV show is that? I should check it out when I get back."

Weng Jiao: "It's called 'Lovers in Longing.' The male lead and his counterpart are both quite handsome. They just walked the red carpet, and you even praised one of them."

Lou Sasa: "Really? Then I'll definitely have to watch it when I get back."

After the red carpet event, they entered the venue to enjoy some food and drinks, and watch the program. Their seats were relatively close to the stage, and Yu Hui joined them as well, though she soon left to socialize with some of the big names present.

Song Luokui and Weng Jiao kept their eyes and ears open, not wanting to miss any juicy gossip, as such events were prime breeding grounds for rumors.

They were seated at the same table as a few celebrities, though Song Luokui and her friends didn't really recognize them. The celebrities seemed a bit surprised to see the three girls, as they didn't know them either, but everyone maintained a polite demeanor.

Soon, the manager of one of the celebrities, Li Chen from Zhaoyang Entertainment, approached their table, hoping to introduce his client to some influential figures. Upon noticing Song Luokui and her friends, his eyes lit up. "Excuse me, but I don't know which agency you lovely ladies are from. Or perhaps you're not signed with anyone yet? I'm Li Chen, a manager at Zhaoyang Entertainment. Let's be friends." Li Chen handed out his business cards to the three of them.

Song Luokui and her friends just smiled and accepted the cards without saying anything, much to the displeasure of the celebrity Li Chen was managing.

Satisfied with having handed out his cards, Li Chen left with his client. Shortly after, Zhou QingRong's manager, Gao Fu, heard that their boss was present and immediately brought Zhou QingRong over to Song Luokui's table. "Boss, Zhou QingRong and I would like to toast you."

Song Luokui raised her glass. "I'm not much of a drinker, so let's toast with tea instead of alcohol."

The other celebrities at the table were shocked to hear this. Their boss? The young woman was the boss of the recently famous Zhou QingRong? Weren't they told that the boss was a powerful woman over forty?

Weng Jiao: "Luokui, can I take a photo with your artist?"

Song Luokui looked at Zhou QingRong, who immediately smiled and said, "Of course, it would be my honor." After all, this was the boss's sister, clearly from a wealthy family.

Lou Sasa: "I want one too." 𝘧𝓻ℯ𝑒𝑤𝓮𝒷𝓷𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝓬𝓸𝓂

In the end, the three of them took a group photo with Zhou QingRong, and Weng Jiao and Lou Sasa each took an individual photo with her as well.

After that, Gao Fu left with Zhou QingRong. Lou Sasa looked around and said, "I see some very attractive celebrities over there, so I'm going to go take photos with them."

With that, Lou Sasa left.

Song Luokui watched as Lou Sasa approached a male celebrity a few tables away and greeted him.

Lou Sasa: "Hello there! May I take a photo with you?"

The male celebrity was taken aback upon seeing Lou Sasa, though he maintained his politeness, as anyone dressed like her and able to attend such an event must be someone of importance. "Of course."

The male celebrity quickly struck a handsome pose, and Lou Sasa happily took two photos with him before excitedly moving on to the next table.

The male celebrity was surprised to see her approach another handsome male celebrity for photos and grew even more surprised as she went from one attractive male celebrity to the next.

Weng Jiao also noticed this and said with a laugh, "Sasa is collecting stamps, isn't she?"

Song Luokui smiled. "Let her have her fun."

However, it wasn't long before Song Luokui noticed a commotion happening where Lou Sasa was. She exchanged a glance with Weng Jiao, and they immediately headed over, worried that their sister might be getting bullied.

As they approached, they heard a woman say to Lou Sasa, "Which agency are you from? You're not some crazy fan who snuck in here, are you? Don't you know that our Fu Si doesn't take photos with people?"

Lou Sasa rolled her eyes. "If he doesn't want to take photos, then fine. But why are you making such a big deal about it? Are you upset because you like him, but he doesn't pay any attention to you?"

By this point, some people had come over to handle the situation. The woman arguing with Lou Sasa was Qiu SuEr, a second-tier celebrity and the daughter of a wealthy family. Rumor had it that she had entered the entertainment industry just to pursue her idol crushes. Since the person didn't recognize Lou Sasa, they assumed she couldn't be someone important and tried to ask her to leave, not wanting to offend Qiu SuEr.

Lou Sasa burst out laughing at the absurdity of the situation. "Ask me to leave? And who do you think you are to make me leave?"

Qiu SuEr: "My father sponsored this event, so I have the right to ask you to leave." That's the only reason she was seated near Fu Si.

Fu Si stepped in to defuse the situation. "I apologize for causing a commotion between the two ladies. Please, let's all be civil and let this young lady take a photo with me if she wishes."

Qiu SuEr: "I won't allow it! Why should she be allowed to take a photo with you?"

Lou Sasa crossed her arms, her expression cold. "I don't even want a photo anymore. Either she apologizes to me, or I'll let her know why I'm so famous!"

"What's going on here? What happened?" Weng Jiao immediately pushed her way into the crowd, with Song Luokui following closely behind.

Lou Sasa explained, "I politely asked if I could take a photo with this gentleman, and if not, that's fine, I wasn't going to insist. But then this woman started calling me names, saying I'm a crazy fan who dreams of being with someone out of my league. I'm Lou Sasa, and this is the first time someone has dared to insult me like that."

Qiu SuEr noticed the backup arriving for the other side and eyed Weng Jiao before turning to Song Luokui. Upon seeing Song Luokui's face, she frowned. Who was this person? She had never seen her in the entertainment industry before. A newcomer?

If Song Luokui was a newcomer, then this could be troublesome.

Qiu SuEr turned to the person who had come to handle the situation. "Well? Aren't you going to kick them out?"

Weng Jiao gave Qiu SuEr a once-over. "Wait, I know you."

Qiu SuEr arrogantly replied, "Yes, you know me, so you'd better leave. I'm not someone you can afford to offend."

Weng Jiao: "I also know your father. He used to follow my father around like a little sycophant."

Lou Sasa burst out laughing. "Hahahaha!"

Qiu SuEr's face suddenly flushed red. "Who are you? You dare say anything with your flapping lips. Hurry and get the security guards to throw them out! What are you standing around for?"

The people who had originally come over to handle the situation were a bit perplexed and found it difficult to deal with, mainly because they saw that the person on the other side didn't seem to be an ordinary person either. Besides, not everyone in the venue was a celebrity; there were also some sponsors, organizers, and some wealthy scions who just wanted to come and see the excitement.

The commotion had already attracted many onlookers. When the organizers saw the disturbance, they immediately came over. Yu Hui, seeing her boss present, quickly went over to him, fearing that if her boss suffered any disrespect here, his brother might get angry.
