The Witcher – Uchiha Madara!-Chapter 210 – The True Powers of Ciri.
[Chapter Size: 2100 Words.]
Third Person POV
Northern Mountains.
...
...
At this moment, it had been a month since the three had left Kaer Morhen on horseback.
While Ciri, Madara, and Geralt traveled, they always kept their faces under cloaks, avoiding towns and villages, preferring instead to cross dangerous places and dense forests.
Not that it was truly dangerous for them, with Madara easily eliminating any group of monsters or bandits, and even Ciri helping at times.
But they always remained hidden from the eyes of travelers who occasionally observed them as they crossed paths on the road, casting curious glances, seeing only one Witcher among them — with Geralt showing his eyes.
When necessary, Madara used his Sharingan to alter any information about them in the memories of those who could recognize them, since they couldn't hide their faces forever.
But he was always careful to prevent any information from spreading.
After all, Madara intended to start acting in the region of Kovir, above Redania, before entering the latter.
"Do you think we're far from Laskop?" Ciri asked, while riding through the forest with the other two horses.
Laskop was the northern city where they would meet Yennefer, who was probably already there, while they were still at least three weeks away.
"We have to cross the mountains first..." Geralt replied.
"You do know there's a dwarven civilization in those mountains, right? We'll probably have to go through them..." Madara said, while Geralt nodded.
"Yes, I just hope it doesn't bring us more trouble," he commented, though he knew the dwarves well...
He looked at the sky before continuing.
"We'll camp as soon as we find a place. We have two hours before sunset," Geralt said, always wanting to find a good spot, even if nightfall was still a while off. A few hours were enough.
For the Witcher, the important thing was always to have a good place to sleep, even if found in the middle of the day. It made his travels easier.
After finding a spot near the end of the afternoon, Madara began removing everything from his scrolls, releasing beds and tents.
"You summoned two tents back..." Geralt said with a serious look at it.
Meanwhile, Ciri stuck her tongue out at Geralt.
"Obviously I'll be sleeping with Madara," Ciri said, while Geralt sighed, having had this discussion many times during the journey. The girl was firm on this matter.
"You're too young for this, Ciri," Geralt muttered, with a very serious tone.
It wasn't a secret to anyone at Kaer Morhen that Madara and Ciri had an intimate relationship, but Geralt felt somewhat uncomfortable about it, as he saw Ciri as his daughter.
"I'm already an adult, Geralt," Ciri responded to the Witcher like an overprotective father.
"I know you want to protect her," Madara spoke this time,
"But isn't it a bit late for that?" he said, while Geralt was speechless.
"Don't make me agree with this," Geralt said grumpily, while going to check his things.
Ciri smiled and kissed Madara before running off to organize the supplies.
Madara just checked his stock, pulling out the boar carcass they had hunted a week earlier. With a kunai, he began cutting it into pieces to prepare a meal.
Ciri helped him by slicing vegetables. Geralt was sharpening his swords, but kept glancing at them, while Madara seemed like an ordinary man in that moment, doing simple things.
He couldn't be a monster forever.
Anyway, Geralt went to his tent, while Madara and Ciri shared the same bed, their relationship now more solid and quite sexually active — but not on this night, as Ciri looked seriously at Madara from the other side of the bed.
"I'm ready," she said, and he nodded, releasing his Mangekyō Sharingan as the space around them began to distort.
Ciri watched curiously and no longer seemed so impressed by this kind of ability after seeing it so many times, especially while they were traveling.
Even so, the curiosity remained because the place always changed, so she was waiting to see where they would appear this time, until everything started to become solid again, and she found herself in the middle of a snow-covered mountain.
"We're in the northern mountains," Madara said, appearing in front of her, with the wind blowing his hair, as the weather was cold and snowy, with snow beneath them spread everywhere, surrounded by the mountains around them.
"Incredible... it's like we're in the middle of nowhere," Ciri commented.
"Well, let's begin," Ciri took the initiative, smiling, as a distortion occurred in the space above her and a sword suddenly came falling in front of her, which she caught with one hand.
She looked serious as she took a step forward toward Madara.
Madara nodded as a katana appeared in front of him, simpler than Ciri's sword.
The sword Ciri held was none other than Zireael, which Madara had created in that space, and she was always enchanted to see herself with that weapon, as if it had truly been made for her, destined to be hers.
Madara believed that perhaps Zireael should finally be forged for Ciri, as she was more prepared than her original adult version, having released so many powers.
"Let's have some fun," she said, flashing a mischievous smile, as her body began to glow and she ran in a zigzag with a green-luminous tone, until stopping thirty meters from Madara.
Obviously, this was an illusion — or rather, a space Madara had created, like the Tsukuyomi, but not as powerful, since he still lacked full stability with his Mangekyō.
Even so, he had developed a parallel ability that allowed him to create a space where both could fight without limits, without restrictions, and at the same time without actually getting hurt.
But there was still some pain, left intentionally by Madara, so that Ciri would feel the need to fight carefully, to avoid receiving fatal blows.
On the outside, Geralt had no idea that the two were somewhere else at that moment, with only their bodies present in the tent, while Madara's clones kept watch over the camp in case of emergency.
Inside the illusion again, Madara was forming a hand seal, crossing his fingers at terrifying speed, as Ciri was already preparing herself, used to this kind of combat Madara put her through.
In the next moment, an explosion of flames erupted, as fire spread across the snow, burning the center from all directions.
The flames were launched toward Ciri as the snow turned to mist, opening a thick curtain of white smoke with the fire.
She stood still watching the flames approach, as her eyes began to glow.
A huge amount of explosive energy started spreading everywhere, with the flames passing on either side of her.
And the flames in front clashed against the greenish energy coming from the young girl's body, battling with the force she was releasing.
Ciri was already capable of using her blood as fuel. And in that space Madara had created, he placed no restrictions on the bodies or powers of those within.
That energy was the true extent of Ciri's power, which she could unleash without having to destroy everything in the real world. In any case, that power was now a part of her.
Satisfied to see it, even though her power was quite uncontrollable, Madara found a good use for it in that moment—it could prevent enemy attacks from reaching him.
And today, Madara wanted to see how far she would go, as he continued spitting flames.
Pressed, Ciri began to shine even brighter. The power no longer wanted to be contained and began to release even more energy, her capacity increasing more and more as she felt less and less in control.
At the same time, she felt something that always came when she used her powers at a high level: a calling.
It always tried to reach her, but Ciri was afraid. Since she started training with Madara, she always practiced in this space. And in a month, she had never given in to that call.
Perhaps, today, would be the first time.
More green beams began to emerge, generating an energy so intense that even Madara, upon feeling the pressure, was surprised and stopped spitting fire.
An explosion began to form, extinguishing most of the flames around her, while a few fires still circled the area.
Steam covered everything, and Ciri's eyes stood out in the mist like two beacons, unmoving.
"What's happening?" Madara murmured, at the same time the girl looked at her hands.
"I've never felt this much power," she said, her voice distorted, with a tone different from the girl Madara knew.
He immediately noticed her two eyes shifting sideways, and Madara quickly turned, moving with some effort as Ciri reappeared faster than he could normally perceive, forcing him to make his Sharingan spin just to track her.
In the next instant, her sword clashed against his. Madara felt enormous pressure—one of his rare moments of surprise.
The moment after, Madara's sword began to crack.
'My weapon won't withstand this pressure…' he thought as Ciri's sword glowed faintly, channeling her own power into it.
But Madara wouldn't fall so easily. He quickly released his powerful chakra, already at the level of a high-tier Kage.
Both his chakra and the emerald energy reached their limits after that, as Madara was blown backward and Ciri too, both recoiling.
Madara landed on the ground, skidding a bit, and watched as his sword shattered.
'Tsk.' He clicked his tongue before creating a new sword.
An explosion erupted on the other side as he focused on the vortex of energy coming from Ciri—until she vanished from it.
Madara was caught by surprise as she appeared behind him, forcing him to defend himself with his Mangekyō.
She struck hard, hitting the skeletal ribs of the blue Susanoo protecting Madara.
Explosions followed in the next moment, with Madara being thrown back, watching his bone armor crack from the blow, crashing several meters away.
Immediately, Madara went back on high alert, as in the following moment, a new explosion tore through a distorted space above him.
Ciri emerged from it, falling like a meteor with her sword pointed forward.
Madara spun his Sharingan, dodging the attack with a backflip.
"Ciri... what is this?" he asked, shocked to see such power.
"I... I don't know," she replied with great excitement.
"But it's incredible! I can even see the future, just like you always said!"
Ciri declared it with a thrill unlike anything before, as if she were no longer herself, despite the distorted voice.
"This strength... I've never seen these powers of yours... why now?" Madara murmured, still not understanding how she had unleashed this on this particular day after training the entire month.
Ciri then looked at him with mischief.
Her gaze turned more serious, paler, and Madara understood immediately: she was changing.
"She's losing control," he murmured, as even the space of the genjutsu he had created began to unravel.
Ciri's very presence, unleashing her powers, was destroying Madara's genjutsu.
"This is getting interesting," he suddenly said, a wide, excited grin forming as his Uchiha blood stirred for the first time in years.
His sword began to transform, purple details emerging as electricity surged across it, turning it into pure thunder—Storm Style, an element beyond Lightning Style.
Ciri also smiled, her sword beginning to shine brighter and brighter.
"Let's dance."
In the next instant, Madara charged at her.
The entire space began to shatter rapidly.
Both of them moved all across the mountain, using their powers as the entire place exploded with each of their clashes.
And the sky cracked.
Not even Madara's genjutsu could withstand the force of that battle.
Even if it was just a first-stage Mangekyō Sharingan genjutsu, the power Ciri was displaying was already immense enough to break through it.
Outside the genjutsu, immediately, Ciri's body—lying in that bed beside Madara—began to glow.
Something was destined to happen—
Their fight no longer seemed willing to remain confined within the genjutsu, while Geralt was beginning to sense that something was wrong with the things that were about to unfold, unaware of the level of power both were unleashing inside a separate space.
