The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system-Chapter 100: The boxer he married.
Yura's advise was sound and wise. Her words were worth considering before she could make her decision after all, her mother-in-law had been in the entertainment business far longer than she had.
Whether it was a simple as composing music or selling it, it would be easier if she had some kind of fame.
Still, she would think about it for a while and speak to Caishen about it as well. She was the one who suggested that their marriage be as real as possible.
She could not make solo decisions that could affect their lives in some manner on her own.
"Thank you for the advise, mother-in-law." she said, with a smile.
And thank you for calling me talented and saying that I will be successful. It had been a long time since a family member believed in her.
"En, I should go now." Yura told her.
"Wait." Alix told her.
She opened her car door and her hand reached out into the basket of flowers which she had left inside.
"Here." She came out with one yellow rose which she handed to Yura.
"Oh, a flower." Yura said, surprise evident in her voice.
Alix nodded.
"To brighten up your day and put a smile on your face. You can put it in your office or at home. I one each for the elders as well. I was going to have them delivered to the house."
"Ho, you are really the sweetest ever. Thank you dear." Yura looked at Alix with adoration.
She pulled her in for a hug and held her tightly.
Yura could not remember the last time someone had given her flowers just to brighten her day. It was on mother's day, she recalled.
Between Caishen's accident and Zhang Bo's job plus all the misery their family had incurred in the past year, flowers were not really on the cards for anyone.
The seller had been right, the flowers had brought a smile to a loved one. Suddenly Alix was glad that she spent three coins to purchase them despite the system's s screeching.
Yura stepped out of Alix's embrace and wiped the corners of her eyes.
"Alright, we have hugged enough. We should both go to work now."
"Yes....."
As Alix started to reply, a hand grabbed Yura. It was a filthy hand belonging to the body of someone who smelled like shit.
Yura screamed as the hand would not let go. It was holding on to her arm, so close to her purse and she thought it was a thief.
Alix's first instinct was to defend her.
She pulled her away from the thief, reared her fist back and punched the individual.
The thief screamed loudly and fell to the ground.
It was a high pitched scream in a feminine voice.
"Let's go," Yura told Alix.
Alix looked at the thief who was unrecognizable as her face was covered in dark ink smudges, hair was all over the place like a bird's nest under construction. They also had no shoes on.
"Why do I know those feet?" She asked herself.
Yura pushed Alix into her car and closed the door.
"Send her off." She told uncle Ju.
When the car set off, Yura looked at her bodyguards with stern eyes.
"What were you doing that my weak daughter-in-law had to defend me from a thief?"
In her eyes, however strong Alix was, she was on the slim side and the thief could have had a weapon.
"We are sorry CEO, she came out of nowhere. We thought it was a random drunkard."
As one of the bodyguards apologized, another took a closer look at the thief. Since it was Alix that threw the punch, they had to ensure that the thief was not dead.
If she was injured, they would take her to the hospital and then call the police.
"CEO."
"What?" Yura responded curtly.
"I think you know her." He replied.
Yura shook her head. She didn't think so but she came closer anyway for a clearer observation.
The facial features looked familiar and with the few spots which were not smudged, she could picture someone.
"Billi!!" She said in surprise.
She gasped as the surprise hit her out of nowhere. Why was Billi looking like she had rolled around in shit, garbage and grease? Why did she have no shoes on?
"Take her to a hospital." She told the bodyguard. "A private ward, Zhang An's package."
Zhang An's package was the code name given to a situation where a member of the family beat up someone or did something in public or private that needed to be swept under the rug efficiently and immediately mostly through pay offs.
Zhang An's name was used because she got into a lot of fights in her teenage years and if the fights resulted in injury, the victim would have to be paid off and treated.
She was the pioneer of this system in the family.
In the car, Yura called Caishen.
"Hello mother," he said politely as soon as he picked up.
"Good morning son. Listen, there is no time for pleasantries right now. I called to give you a heads up.
Your wife punched someone in my defense. She thought it was a thief, and so did I but it turns out to be her sister Lin Billi."
"Again!" Caishen answered and sighed.
"Again, what do you mean?" She asked.
Had Alix punched Billi before?
"Mother, Alix doesn't get along with her sister. I am sure that you are going for Zhang An's package but I don't know if it will work in this situation."
"Don't worry, I will handle it." Yura assured him.

"Did she break the jaw as well?" He asked.
Yura had not asked so she did not know. But she wondered if Alix had broken someone's jaw before.
"I don't know. I will forward the hospital report to you when it comes out." She told him.
" Noted." He replied.
They both hung up.
In his office, Caishen leaned against his chair and sighed loudly. Two people in two days, had he married a boxer?
Was she attempting to break a world record?
Zhang An's package might have to be renamed Alix's package at this rate.
Biming came into his office, invading it without knocking. He walked determinedly with purpose in his eyes and an envelope in his hands.
"Young master, there is news on your accident." He said quickly.
