Dark death shoved the token into her pocket and looked attentively at the competitors. Five had been eliminated during the time between when Alix arrived and the last few seconds.

"Two more left." she whispered.

"Now is the right time." Alix told her.

They could not wait anymore, there were two gamers, a Black knight and the paladin left standing. Only one orc left and it had received multiple stabs.

"Hey system, am I in the clear?"

"You can go host, everything is clear." it answered.

Having it in her mind was like having an entire watch command center when one was going into war.

She put the violin on her shoulder and started playing the song of light burst at a fast pace.

The more points she got, the faster her speed grew and so did her proficiency. Now when she played, the white light appeared quicker and the power of her spell doubled.

Unprepared for what was to come, the black knight went flying backwards and landed on the assassins' sword. The paladin glared at Alix and Dark death as she dug her staff into the ground and held on.

Dark death relinquished her sword and in her hands appeared a bow and arrows. It fired automatically and red streaks of light were emitted from the tips of the silver arrows.

The paladin could not dig into the ground anymore so she flew up and blast a powerful attack from her left hand. It was a ball of white light which came down like a falling star.

Alix directed her own light burst magic towards it.

Boom.

The two spells collided, and engaged in a fierce battle of superiority then exploded loudly.

The paladin was sent flying away, and Alix was also pushed back. Neither one of them went far, each staying close enough to recover and attack again.

The paladin would not get a chance to recover as Dark death's arrows went seeking for her in the skies.

Alix took advantage of this situation to hide away all the rock sugar.

"Got it." she shouted.

A few players were now in the last stages of recovery.

"Let's go." she told Dark death.

The assasin jumped onto Baize's back and the ostrich took to the skies. Alix continued playing her music, going for the flute and the hypnosis spell. If anybody was following them, they would end up falling asleep and falling out of the skies.

"System, am I in the clear?"

"Yes host, you are in the clear. And congratulations on your first kill of another game player."

"Oh," her mouth opened in surprised and she stopped playing.

When did she kill another game player?

"The red warrior, he had just recovered when he had the unfortunate fate of encountering your light burst spell."

Five people in the game had chosen warrior characters. What differentiated them was the color of their hair and dressing.

"Do I get a reward for killing him?" she asked the system.

"No, but you got one hundred thousand points."

"I need stronger spells." she said, immediately.

"I will find them for you right now." It answered.

Baize touched down in front of the task hall as directed by Dark death.

Alix kept the ostrich away and released the little azure dragon for a breath of fresh air.

"What's with the crawler?" Dark death asked her.

"My beast avatar. What did you get?" she asked her.

Dark death released a small wolf.

"Him."

"It's a blazing wolf, fast and strong at full growth and it can release flames and poison." the system gave Alix additional information.

Even though the description given by the blue elf made it sound fearsome, right now, it was as cute as a puppy.

Alix bent down with a desire to pet the little thing. It growled at her and she took her hand back.

The dragon on her shoulder coughed and a small flame was released from it's mouth. It was warning the wolf but it was too young to be much of a threat at the moment.

"Look at them getting along." Dark death chuckled.

Alix scoffed and led the way into the task hall.

"This way." Dark death told her.

The task hall was an open hall in a three story building. It had images on the walls specifying the available tasks which were ready to be undertaken.

Alix could see a different types of tasks like delivery tasks. That was the kind of task they were carrying out.

She saw tasks that required players to kill monsters. Other tasks needed them to collect herbs and the likes in or around the town or to different towns.

She even saw a task that required players to explore and map out unchartered territory alongside NPC's.

They were not the only game players in the hall, others were there as well, picking out tasks or accepting rewards for the tasks they had completed.

It was so busy that even NPC's were choosing tasks or attending to players.

"Here." Dark death dragged her into a line of those who were there to deliver.

One player was standing ahead of them, handing in something to a female NPC behind the counter. The entire thing reminded Alix of a bank, it was all official.

"Next." the woman yelled.

The player whose face was covered with a skull like mask gave the two of them a once over and walked away.

"That is a necromancer." the system told her.

"Does this game have every character? I am sure that I saw a cyborg somewhere."

"Yes it does." the system answered.

She stored that information away and released the barrels of rock sugar. Dark death handed them in and the NPC counted them.

As soon as she was finished, she handed Dark death a brown scroll.

Alix could not wait to take a look. One she was aware that the car in the real world was no longer moving. It had been still for a while now which meant that she had arrived at the set of let's get physical.

She had told uncle Ju not to disturb her if she was on her phone or laptop unless it was an emergency. The driver followed her instructions strictly.

Two, the system needed to scan the map just in case of emergency, like theft or loss.

"Ouh, I am so excited, open it, open it."

They found somewhere to sit in the task hall and the system scanned it immediately.

It was just like the first scroll they found after taking down the lava down. A few pictures moving around, no words and nothing that made sense.

"Done." the system elf told her.

"Well, you keep it. I kept the first scroll." Dark death shoved it into her hands. "I am going to find another task to do. Wanna go exploring?"

Alix shook her head. "I have something else to do in my world. Answer my text however, don't forget."

"Alright, I will do so right away." She waved her away as she went to look at the exploration tasks.

Alix logged logged off, rushed out of the car with Majesty and headed into a sports center.
