National day came around two days later and the music school closed for the seven day holiday. On the very first day of the holiday, she met her friends Jin Kang and Holea in Holea's cafe. She was there for good conversation and snacks which she would take to the Zhang family home the next day.

The three of them were sitting at a corner table near Holea's office. engaged in a very riveting conversation concerning Alix's love life.

Alix laughed again, almost burying herself in the pin milkshake which she was about to finish. Jin Kang, she was aware would not let up until she got a few more answers out of her.

"He is a grown man and he knew what he was doing." She went quiet for a few seconds, then raised her head and said, "You have noticed that I have been smiling for two whole days. That alone should be enough to answer all your questions."

"Does it mean you will be having sex with him?" Holea asked her.

She did not need to ask Alix if Caishen's abilities had been affected by the accident. Judging by the look on her friends face, the answer was plain as day.

Alix almost choked on the milkshake while Jin Kang laughed loudly. Both of them wondered how Holea was able to maintain a straight face as she asked the question so directly.

"And you thought my question was invasive." Jin Kang said. She took pity on Alix. Mama Holea was about to strike in full swing.

Jin Kang counted figures off her fingers and mouthed them out loud. "This month we have all contributed five thousand yuan to our friends savings account. Will that be enough for us to buy even half a share?"

"I will add fifty thousand yuan." Holea said.

"I will add one hundred thousand." Alix said.

Holea on the other hand was very apprehensive. Lately, Alix seemed to have an endless supply of money. She had bought Jin Kang a car, invested in the cafe and she was buying a school.

She was even talking about buying the building in which the cafe operated in future.

Her friends meanwhile smirked and laughed silently. Jin Kang finally noticed the looks they were giving her.

"Handsome." Alix said.

"We didn't say otherwise." Holea said.
