Alix was concluding a small business transaction and so was Caishen, at that very moment, only his was a big one. In the morning, he had received an unexpected phone call from Ko Xiang with a request to cooperate on a project.

Even though it was a holiday, he went into the office because this was important business. It was another project which would make up for the loss they incurred in the last year.

Caishen could not make heads or tails on why Ko Qiang wanted to work with him, and even more surprising was the fact that the man showed up his wife and the first words out of her mouth when she saw him were, "Where is Alix?"

Despite this little surprise, the meeting had concluded successfully.

Ko Xiang was getting ready to leave Caishen's office but Caishen was not ready to let the man go without asking an important question.

"Mr. Ko, this is a project billions. To my understanding, Ko real estate development can handle the job of redeveloping a couple of towns in Guiyang. If you have insufficient funds I am sure that you are quite capable of getting a sizeable loan from any bank in the country. Why have you come to us?"

Mr. Ko turned his head to his wife and smiled gently at her. She smiled back and they held hands.

"It's because of your wife, we ae very grateful to her." he answered. He looked at Caishen and sighed. "My wife is pregnant."

Caishen tried hard not to let the surprise show on his face. He was not unaware of the rumors surrounding madam Qian's infertility. Wealthy families liked discussing the problems of other wealthy families as they tried to figure out how to out do each other in business.

What he couldn't understand was how his wife was involved in the situation. He planned to find that out in the next few minutes however.

"Congratulations." Caishen looked from Mr. Ko to madam Qian. "But, how is that related to my wife?"

A random thought crossed his mind in that moment. Had Alix donated an egg or something?

"She gave me a....." Madam Qian was eager to talk about the rabbit's foot but logic stopped her. Who would believe a ridiculous story like that?

Caishen was still looking at her with heavy interest, waiting for her big reveal.

"Medicine," madam Qian concluded. "She gave me the medicine which cured my problem."

In a dull voice, Caishen answered, "Oh, I see."

If it was her mysterious herbal medicine from the mysterious doctor, he could not doubt it. He himself was living proof that it worked. Something nagged at him and he could not let them leave without saying it. Reaping where he had not sown was not his style.

He looked at Mr. Ko and madam Qian and said to them, "In that case, shouldn't your gratitude go to her? I feel like I am taking undeserved credit."

"What's good for the goose is good for the gander." Mr. K brushed him off and answered with an easy smile and a shrug.

But that's not necessarily the case, Caishen thought, not always anyway, especially in marriage.

"We are leaving now Mr. Zhang. I hope you have a fantastic national holiday."

Silently, Caishen nodded and watched the couple walk of out of his office. Alone, he picked his phone from the table and wheeled himself to the large windows of his office. It was his intention to call Alix and share this good news with her.

Before he could call, he realized that she had sent him a few messages. It included pictures of herself and elder Tai having quite the feast. Surprisingly the famous painter Ren Xiao Dan was there as well. Not to be missed of course was Majesty, her cat.

She was smiling so brightly, and she looked like she was having a great time.

He zoomed in on her face as a smile formed on his own lips. She had no idea that she had made him a lot of money on this day.

"How should I repay the big favors you have done for me?" he mumbled to himself. First it was the TFK project and now Ko Xing's business.

The shares he had given her did not feel adequate. He needed to do more, so much more. But what could he give her?

Alix who was unaware of her husband's conundrum or that she had brought him a financial boost was pulling grandpa Tai into an old school arcade opposite the restaurant.

Grandpa Tai did not even need to be pulled because he was very willing to go and have fun while proving to elder Ren who was still following them that he was not that old.

Elder Ren was carrying Majesty, something he insisted upon. The cat was cuddled like a baby and sleeping after a very heavy lunch. Everywhere they passed, people looked at the elder and the cat and then they smiled or laughed.

"I want to play the rhythm game." Grandpa Tai said, "One of those games where you dance on the machine." he clarified.

"You will have a heart attack old man." elder Ren told his friend.

"Is it your heart?" grandpa Tai retorted. He even added a snort as if elder Ren was sticking his nose in his business unnecessarily.

Elder Ren sighed while Alix helplessly watched grandpa Tai locate a machine and waved her over.

"Alix let's do it together, on television the youngsters do it in pairs." he said loudly.

He had to shout because the sounds in the arcade were just as loud.

Alix laughed because she had never actually met someone who used the word, "youngsters." But she went over, and joined him.

"Grandpa, should I record you?" she asked him.

The old man's eyes lit up. He nodded eagerly so Alix handed her phone to elder Ren and asked him to record.

She selected an easy mode of Din Don Dan because she didn't want the elder to over exert himself. It was no surprise to her however that a few spectators were watching them.

It was not everyday that one saw an old man playing a dancing game.

"Grandpa, the count down is beginning."

They started dancing, following the moves of the three animated girls in the game. Alix lost focus because she was watching grandpa Tai.

He had zero rhythm in his body, as expected and he was mostly moving from side to side. When it came to lifting legs or jumping, he could hardly do any of that.

At the end of the day, he was having fun and smiling like a vey happy child and that was all that really mattered. Even a score of twenty percent did not bring him down.

"What should we play next?" he asked Alix, very eagerly.

The arcade was rather large and there was a large variety of games to choose from. Most of them reminded grandpa Tai of what he missed out on in his youthful days. After working hard for so many years and making so much money, who knew that the simple things he didn't like back then could now bring him so much pleasure.
