Ding! The familiar mechanical sound made a noise in her mind and Alix could have been any happier to welcome it's short but long awaited return.

"I am back." The blue elf announced.

She eagerly tapped the virtual screen, almost weeping tears as she did.

"I have never been so happy to see you blue smurf. You have no idea how scared I was that I would not be able to see your blue chubby body again."

The blue elf lost it's charming smile quickly. It had not missed it's dumb host in the least bit. They had worked on this name calling thing, or so it thought.

"C-101, what happened? What was that bug thing?"

The eagerness with which she needed that information in her ears at the quickest possible speed was not to be underestimated. Alix's hands were already moving around checking out every aspect of both the system and the game.

One of the first things she noticed was the addition of a properties panel in the game section.

Player: Alix, No second name.

World origin: Not mentioned.

Race: Human

Occupation: Bard

Alliance: Badass guild.

Level: World two

HP: 210

Currency: 4,010,000

"Badass guild!!" she exclaimed.

It stood out to her more than her name being Alix, No second name. To the best of her knowledge she had not named her guild Badass. as far as she was concerned, it should be unnamed.

"C-101, who named the guild?"

"That would be Dark Death. You formed the guild but did not register it. She registered it and named it that."

"I was going to name it when the mission was completed. I am short of one member." she lamented.

The name of her guild was cliché and terrible to her ears. Even the taste of the name felt wrong. What would stop another player from saying, "Hey look the ugly asses are here."

Ding! Mission accomplished, late notification, she heard.

Her hands moved to the Badass guild section on her gaming window. Three names, Alix, Dark death, Ark. Their occupations too were listed in order, bard, assasin, paladin.

"Ho!!" she exclaimed.

Her little heart couldn't really take many more surprises. First the bug issue, then the less than ideal guild name and now the paladin being a member of said guild. She was sure that she had detected some hostility from the paladin when they were competing for beast avatars. Why then, would the woman, or man join her guild? Was it because she, Alix, was one of strongest players in the game?

"Strong my ass." The system said.

"Heeey!" she cried out.

"You are lucky because I am a lucky system. If you were on your own playing the character of a bard, you would have been trampled on already." It told her.

She bit her bottom lip from responding carelessly or revealing her inner thoughts. She decided to move elsewhere and see if there were more changes in store for her.

"C-101, explain the bug thing." she reminded it of what it had not done so far.

On one side of the screen, it showed her another player character. "This is a lych, another game player that has been cheating, three people were playing as one character. That was the abnormal data which was discovered. Her character has been reset and she was sent back to the first world."

"Ha!" Alix said loudly and she giggled.

The fall of another character was a win for her. The lych was one of the strongest players that had been advancing rather too quickly because she was always in the gaming world. Alix even wondered once if this player played all day long without rest.

"It serves her right." she said.

The thought that the lych would probably clear that level quickly and catch up with the rest of them occurred to her, after all, she had already played that level.

"The game has been reset, all open worlds that the lych has been to have experienced some changes.

"Oh," she exclaimed. It was not a good oh, or one of shock but a disappointed one. She had mapped out her strategy for being the first to get to the dark wizard's castle. It looked like she would need a new strategy now.

"Stupid cheating lych." she mumbled.

That description elicited a curious raised eyebrow from her but it was not what mattered most at the moment to her.

"Oh come on." she wailed and she poked the virtual screen really hard right on the world intelligence. "Are you calling me stupid?"

It was an insult to her, a very big insult. She was very intelligent. Okay, Alix admitted to herself, average so classifying her intelligence at a four out of one hundred was really too much.

The system might as well tell her that she had a one digit IQ.

"You are not the shiniest bulb in the room." The system replied.

"Are you calling me dumb?" she asked.

"If you have to ask then you already have the answer." It responded.

She banged her fist on the bed really hard and something popped. Given her strength, Alix was certain that she had possibly broken something.

"Oh crap!" she said.

Just great! Caishen would give her that helpless look and sigh as if she was a hopeless case. And then there were the rest of the Zhang's. How was she going to explain the broken bed?

As she thought about the best possible excuse, the bed started to wobble like a drunkard struggling to stay on their feet.

"Like I said, not the shiniest bulb in the room." The system said in a very judgmental self-righteous tone.

Alix stood up quickly because she felt the bed fall in. It crushed to the ground very loudly as if it was inviting everyone in the house to come and witness the unfair blow it had been dealt.

"That was an accident." she said defensively.

"I was not referring to the bed, I was referring to your failure to understand that intelligence is a wide aspect. There is a wide variety of knowledge in your world, how much do you really know? Outside of the knowledge you gained in school on specific subjects what do you understand about your universe?"

The system was talking and Alix was listening but only partially. Most of her attention was on the light steps which were heading in the direction of the bedroom. In less than thirty seconds, there was a knock on the door.

"Alix dear, are you okay?" Yura's voice came from beyond the door.

"Open the door, we heard something crashing. Do you need help?" grandma Zhang asked.

It took her a few seconds to compose the answers she wanted to give and she came up blank. All her mind could come up with was that she had been jumping around on the bed which would be embarrassing but she would be able to keep her secret.

She exhaled loudly and decided to open up.

As her hand reached for the door, Zhang Bo's booming voice said commandingly, "Stand back, we are breaking the door down."
