The entire Zhang family made the trip to temple, not just Zhang Caishen's branch of the family but his uncles and aunts as well.

The Zhang family had three branches, The leading branch headed by his grandfather Zhang Ran. The second branch headed by his grandfather's uncle Zhang Yang and the third, headed by the third brother Zhang Yu Ze.

The chairman of Zhang group always came from the leading branch of the family. The second branch handled all overseas businesses and the third handled all miscellaneous companies. This hierarchy had long been established and any attempt to shake the order of things would result in the group being split into smaller less profitable companies, and nobody wanted that.

This did not mean the families had a sweet relationship. Envy, jealousy and anger was not absent, it was there under the surface among some relatives.

Caishen was not appreciative of the pitiful and scrutinizing looks other relatives kept giving him so he left the temple and followed the direction Zhang Bo had taken.

He found his brother smoking by himself at the back of the temple.

When Zhang Bo heard someone coming, he threw the cigarette down and crushed it into the brown dirt of the ground urgently. Then, he looked up with a guilty look on his face.

He sighed in relief when he noticed that it was just his brother and not one of the monks of heaven help him, his mother.

Caishen first chuckled and then shook his head. "I do not think the monks would approve of such behavior brother."

Zhang Bo leaned back against the wall and looked at Caishen, unbothered.

"We donate one hundred fifty million yuan to the temple every year. I am sure the monks will be understanding." he answered.

"Should we put that to the test?" Caishen asked him. "I can invite a few of the monks over and see if you are brave enough to smoke in front of them.

His brother's words, he found to be distasteful. A temple was a sacred place.

"Oh, fine, you win." He folded his arms together, lowered his head and said to the air, "Forgive me Buddha for desecrating your sacred temple."

He looked at Caishen and asked, "Why did you follow me out here? Aren't you and your wife supposed to be receiving special child bearing blessings?"

Caishen scoffed in response and laughed. His wife had managed to help madam Qian who was rumored to be infertile with her problems. If she wanted a child, he was sure they would not need the blessings of a monk to have one.

"I was not in the mood to be token pitiful cripple of the day. They keep staring at me as if I am one of the golden statues in the temple." he replied.

"They haven't seen you up close, not counting the wedding. Don't mind them." Zhang Bo told him.

It was very hard not to mind being stared at by dozens of eyes that were all interested in one thing only. Some of his cousins even smirked, gladdened by misfortune. He would rather the worship ceremony end quickly and they leave this place.

"What about you, why are you here by yourself?" he asked his brother.

Zhang Bo touched his pocket first, in search of a cigarette and quickly located one. He held it in his fingers but didn't light it. Rather, he folded and unfolded it, playing with it as his fingers were restless.

He gave Caishen a contemplative look and said, "I am just wondering if this is the last temple visit we will all have before shit breaks loose."

In the distance, a monkey squeaked and both brothers looked up at the one of tall trees. Two monkeys were chasing each other around. This temple was surrounded by trees and had many monkeys so seeing one or two was no surprise.

Caishen's eyes turned back to his brother and he asked, "What do you mean?"

Zhang Bo looked back at him with deep seriousness in his eyes. Something heavy was veiled inside them.

"Don't tell me that you shared that news yesterday without thinking things through. If that man is our father, shit will break loose. What will we do about our mother? You do know that he has another wife now, right?"

Caishen winced and used his right hand to massage his knees.

Zhang Bo quickly squatted down and pushed Caishen's hand away.

"Are you okay?" he asked drastically.

"I am fine, the pain just comes through loudly sometimes. The doctor said it was a good thing, don't worry. And that marriage can be annulled."

Zhang Bo lightly knocked on one the knees ensuring that he did not cause his younger brother pain. But he also wanted to drill sense into him.

"Do you really think that things are that easy? He has lived with that woman for over twenty years and they have a child together. If he has no memory of our mother and he is in love with that woman then he will...." Zhang Bo broke off and slowly fell down to the ground, sitting on the soil without a care for his expensive designer suit.

"This is fucking crazy." he added, exasperated totally. "We watched her mourn for a man that she thought was dead. She didn't date or attempt to move on with her life because she only loved him. What will happen to her if it's him and he has this whole other life with this woman. This is like an affair, he had an affair." Zhang Bo said in a determined voice, "We cannot tell her."

"Mother is strong, she will handle it." Caishen answered. She had started her own company after her husband's death and raised her sons well. If her husband was alive, she deserved to know.

"Did that accident mess your brain up too?" Zhang Bo asked him.

"Don't be a dick." Caishen answered.

Zhang Bo sighed and run his hands through his hands. Caishen could tell that his brother was both exhausted and frustrated at the same time. Maybe, he should have held off on sharing this news with him. First their grandfather's reaction and now him.

"And the company, the shares, everything is going to become a mess." Zhang Bo groaned and looked up at the sky. "That third son seems to be ambitious. I looked him up last night and I can see from his face that he will be trouble. He already tried to kill you, or so you think. What's to stop him from coming after the rest of us? We need to come up with a plan, no many plans in case trouble comes knocking on the door."

Zhang Bo suddenly sat up and gripped Caishen's wheelchair tightly. He looked at him with wide eyes and said, "Oh God!! what if they want to move into the main house as a family? Grandfather will surely agree to it because father is his only son but our mother will definitely not stay there. It will be a humiliation and slap on her face. She will be forced to walk out of her own marital home."
