Alix, Chan Ki and everyone else soon went their separate ways. Yura went with Chan Ki and the director to discuss something and Alix decided to take a taxi which dropped her off at Holea's cafe. She didn't call Holea before popping in because she knew that her friend would be there. Her cafe was always packed full during public holidays.

She was right, she found the place full to the brim, not one table was in sight. Even the pick up counter was busy with customers who were taking their orders to go. Holea was helping out personally, serving drinks and other things.

"Hey," Alix approached her and surprised her.

"Oh, hey." She answered absentmindedly. She turned back to her employees immediately. "Bing Bing, table seven is clearing out. Hurry up and clean it."

Then she turned her attention to Alix and raised both of her eyebrows. "What are you doing here?"

Alix pointed to the part of the counter where cakes and other boxed up things to go were waiting for the owners to arrive. "I came to say hi and pick up my order. I told you that I am going to meet my brother and his mother today."

Laughter came from the table which was closest to where they were standing and they glanced at the occupants briefly before looking back at each other.

"You are actually going through with that crazy plan. You are really not thinking properly. What if he is another horrid character Lin Billi, then what will you do?"

Alix was already aware of how much Holea was not on board with this plan. She had made it vocal, thrice yesterday. But it was not going to halt her plans which she intended to follow through with.

"I told you, I must beat Jing Hee to the punch. With a son, my father has a legal heir which changes my plans in a way."

"Hmm-mmm." Holea shook her head. "He is not your father's legal heir because he is legally the son of another man. You said it yourself, he is a Zhi not a Lin."

"It's not stopping my father from trying to change it. And now that my grandmother knows about his existence it will get worse. She will not allow Lin blood to be raised outside, especially a male child. If it means getting my father to divorce Jing Hee and marrying the boy's mother that's what she will do. She has long wanted a grandson even more than my father wanted a male heir. They will not give up on the boy which means Jing Hee will not give up on the boy either. It just depends on what she will have in mind for him."

One of the employees walked over to them and handed Alix two boxed packages.

"Hello madam Alix." he greeted her with a smile.

"Hi Li Jun. You guys are working hard." She replied.

"The boss has promised us all a bonus." he answered with a wide smile on his lips.

He rushed back to his work and Alix placed the boxes on the counter temporarily.

"Do you want to go with me?" She asked Holea.

Holea looked around the busy cafe and frowned. Normally, her answer would be an immediate yes but she was busy here.

Alix noticed the same thing and the loud crushing of things in the back space which served as the cafe's bakery made her change her mind. "What am I thinking? You are so busy that you have come out of your office to serve the customers personally. I will go alone, you stay."

She picked up her boxes. "I am leaving."

"If you wait two hours we can go together." Holea told her.

"No. Gone are the days when I lived out of your pockets and hid under the protection of your shadow. I will handle this on my own. Give Mu Mu my love when you get home."

Holea nodded.

"Oh," Alix had just taken two steps when she turned back. "Open my bag and get Mu Mu's red envelope. Tell her that it's from her favorite aunt."

She made that reminder as Holea dug through her bag for the red envelope. Alix left and hailed a taxi outside the cafe because it was conveniently close to the road.

It took her one hour and twenty minutes to get to the apartment where Qin Meifen and Zhi Yuewei lived. She would have arrived in an hour if not for the traffic jam.

When she got there, she had to take a deep breath and give herself a pep talk. She thought it would be a simple thing, knocking on the door and announcing herself. The real thing was actually more nerve wrecking than she anticipated.

"Do it." she told herself.

She raised her finger to push the door bell but the door was suddenly opened from the other side before she could do it. A teenage boy was standing on the other side. He was holding a bag in his hand and a baseball cap. It seemed like he was preparing himself to go out.

Looking at him in person was like looking at a younger version of Lin Qianfan. Alix could not help thinking that it was no wonder her grandmother had been rendered speechless on seeing him. The resemblance was not strong in pictures but using one's eyes, it was undeniable whose son he was.

"Who are you?" the boy asked her.

He looked at her with wary eyes and then moved his hand to block her view of the inside of the house____, not like she was looking in because she was still looking at the boy, her brother.

"Miss, can I help you? Are you lost? Who are you looking for?" he fired off three questions in one breath.

"You." Alix replied.

He blinked a few times and drew his head back. Then he took a step forward, craned his neck and peeped outside in search of something or someone.

He stepped back inside and looked at Alix. "I don't know you. I think you have got the wrong person."

"Zhi Yuewei." Alix said. "If you are Zhi Yuewei then I have found the right person."

"I don't know you. Zhi Yuewei and his family moved two weeks ago. You should go." The boy blurted out.

Alix laughed softly and thought to herself that he was a foolish boy in a funny way. He had just admitted to being Zhi Yuewei and in the same sentence lied about his family moving.

"System, does he have good or bad grades?" If he was foolish then it would be better to leave him out of her plans.

"Does it matter?" the system asked her. "Are you planning to bring another Xiaobo into your home?"

She didn't plan to but if he was a good person then it wouldn't hurt to look out for a bit.
