The next day, Alix left with Yura for the venue of the shooting for Chan Ki's music video. It was in a glass house which had falling green plants along the walls and ceiling. It had many white roses and another type of light red flower.

Two white chairs with bolsters and and one table had been placed in the center and potted yellow flowers surrounded them. A black piano had been placed to the side, next to the entrance.

The director was explaining to Alix the concept of the video but she was more interested in watching Chan Ki. The singer had not said a single word to Alix beyond a simple nod of the head. She was currently practicing a slow dance with a common actor who was her partner in this video.

Her arm was nudged by the director who wanted her attention. "Miss, you need to play something first so that we see what we are working with." he told her.

Alix nodded.

"They have another piano player on stand by." Her system told her. The blue elf whispered as if it was haring a secret that nobody should hear.

"That is to be expected in this kind of work. It's why actors have body doubles and stuntmen. What one can't do, another steps in." She responded.

She sat at the piano and immediately, a smile visited her face. She moved her hands along the keys with a look of delight. A feeling so familiar and so sweet rushed through her body like the pumping of adrenaline.

"Don't be nervous, take a deep breath and begin." The director told her.

He wanted to make sure that she was the real deal before they could begin officially shooting. She was not his choice of piano player but she was the song composer and Han Yura had brought her in personally. Chan Ki had also asked for her by name, which he attributed to the singer wanting to please Han Yura. If it was up to the music director, they would use Lin Billi. She was a piano genius, she was signed under Light entertainment and she was famous.

"I am not nervous." Alix told him.

"Hmph." The director responded.

There was a reproach in his tone which Alix detected and ignored. She was right in her detection because the director now thought she was haughty.

"You know, with enough points this system can get you a voice altering serum. They can be temporary or permanent, depending on the results you want. You can compose, arrange and sing your own songs."

"That's not necessary." She answered.

"You could be the greatest singer your world has ever seen." It responded.

"I am not interested." She answered.

She didn't want to be the best singer, she wanted to be the best classical pianist, violinist, celloist. Every instrument that could be played, she wanted to be the best in that field. Pop songs were easy to forget, classical music was taught, dissected and passed on through history.

"Ahem." The director cleared his throat impatiently.

Alix did not even touch the sheet music sitting on the piano. She started playing straight from the heart and mind. She knew every single note because she wrote it herself.

The director was stunned and he was not alone because everyone in the green house was the same. Burning love was a slow ballad and the accompanying piano had to be gentle and sweet, pleasing to the ears but evocative. Alix successfully hit all the necessary points.

At some point, it picked up a bit and everyone smiled. Nobody realized that they had stopped what they were doing to listen. It only hit them when Alix stopped playing.

"Is that enough?" she asked the music director.

"It's perfect." he answered. There were no other words to describe it. He turned and yelled at everyone, "Make up, dresses, now. Let's move people, we are renting this place by the hour."

He wanted to shoot while the piano player was still energetic and in a good mood. All preconceived biases he had against her vanished like smoke in air.

Two hours and three takes later, the director had everything he wanted and everyone applauded.

Alix even heard him yell, "This is the song of the year. Chan Ki, you need an entire album like this to win best singer of the year at every award ceremony, not just female singer but also best album."

She was still sitting at the piano and playing that most common ice cream song. She mixed it in with other tunes from her childhood, songs that her mother loved to play. Nanny Luo had saved a few videos of her mother playing the piano for her which Alix watched every now and then.

It was too bad that she had given up playing the piano to settle down with her father. Perhaps, she would be a world famous pianist by now.

"And you would not exist." her system told her.

Everyone was working slowly to clear out the green house because they were listening to Alix. More than a few were swaying their bodies with smiles on their faces. It was like a small mini concert for them.

The director was secretly recording. This could be used in the behind the scenes footage if necessary.

Chan Ki must have taken the director's words seriously because she approached Alix and stood by the piano, watching her play.

"You are really good." She told Alix.

Alix's fingers did not stop moving but her speed picked up and she started playing one of Chan Ki's most famous songs, a little love.

"Oh-Oooh," The woman's eyes widened and a pleasant smile formed on her face. "That's my song."

Alix nodded.

"It actually sounds really good, we should get together and record piano versions for some of my songs." Chan Ki suggested.

Alix wrinkled her nose a bit and then nodded.

"I am okay with that." she answered. "But I have to be paid." she added with a laugh.

Chan Ki moved her head around rhythmically and started singing along. One of her feet tapped the ground and she swayed her shoulders.

Her voice was becoming louder and she was singing her heart out as if she was actually performing on a stage or recording. Alix switched it up and moved to another one of her songs, a dance song.

Chan Ki was not slow and she caught up, keeping up with Alix whose fingers were moving at a very fast pace. She decided to use this opportunity to challenge herself. However fast Alix played, changed the tune or mixed things up, she was determined to keep up.

They moved together in harmony but also not, like a cat and mouse, one running and one chasing.

Alix played Chan Ki's most famous song to date, wicked love. Chan Ki hit a high note and closed her eyes, caught in the moment.

Someone in the green house screamed, more than one person in fact. Everyone had put down what they were doing and simply stopped to watch. Some of them were like fan girls and fan boys, singing along with Chan Ki or dancing.

The director was waving his arms in the air from side to side and the cameras had not stopped rolling for a single second.
