The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system-Chapter 69: Rich in points
"Take it." the system suggested.
"Deal." Alix answered.
Those were about one hundred gold bars, all forged from the lava of the demon. It had to be pure gold, worth a fortune.
"I like you." Dark death told her.
Alix shrugged and looked at Dark death with a cheeky look on her face.
"I like me too." she said.
They located the children, and Alix even picked up a couple of plants that somehow still had life in the lava demon's lair.
"Look, I found something else." Dark death told her.
Holding the hands of two children, Alix joined her in a corner of a musty cave and took a look at another scroll the assasin had found.
This one was bigger than the one with the infinite fire skills.
"It's a map." she added.
Both of them looked at it, frowning as it was a map with no markings, just images. Some of them were even moving, but they always returned to their point of origin.

"Got it." The system told her.
"Nice." she answered.
"Where do you think it leads?" Dark death asked her.
Alix shook her head, truly she had no idea on this. However, what she did have was an opinion.
"It must be important in some way, the lava demon works for the dark wizard of the tower. Perhaps it's related to the tower, it could be blue prints. We should save it, you never know when it might come in handy." she suggested.
Dark death looked at her curiously for a few seconds and she looked at the map.
"So which one of us gets to keep it?" she asked.
Alix, patted the assassin on the back and smiled at her as if she was the most trustworthy person in the individual.
"I will let you keep it a sign of good faith. This was our first successful partnership and I hope we will get to enjoy many more like this in future."
"Oh, you smart sly woman." The system said.
Alix figured that the system had already made a copy of the map. With this display of trust, she could buy herself an ally in the gaming world.
Moreover, dual quests seemed to produce more loot than single quests.
"I really like you even more even more now. We should go on more quests together from now on." The assassin told her.
Alix's lips curved upwards. She savored the sweet taste of her trap working out successfully. "I am looking forward to that."
She kept the map away, grabbed three of the children and they left the territory of the lava demon.
Alix released the ostrich, chanted a spell and a carriage appeared on the ground.
"Get in." she told the kids.
Dark death did not follow the children inside. Instead, she walked around Alix's carriage and rubbed her hands together.
"Where did you buy this?" she asked her.
"Level one world, same place I got the ostrich." Alix told her.
There was only one, and she only managed to get it because the system directed her to the right quest.
"We need to travel together more often because you seem to know where the good stuff is."
She hopped onto Baize's back and held Alix around the waist.
Baize took to the skies, flying away quickly and they returned to the city within a short time.
The children were returned to a guild and in exchange, she and Dark death were given lucky poppy flowers.
"The flowers spread a calm environment wherever they are planted. They will never rot. It's not much but you can accomplish anything as long as you have a clear mind." the guild leader told them.
Rewards like this were the reason why Alix preferred to kill monsters. She had no idea what she would use these flowers for.
She and Dark death went their separate ways after exchanging a way to communicate in the game.
Alix logged out of the game immediately, feeling a great sense of accomplishment. She stood up, stretched her arms and cracked her fingers.
She looked at the time, only thirty minutes had passed but for some reason, it felt as if she had been in the gaming world for one or two hours.
"Hey, blue smurf, why are you so quiet. Didn't I do good?" she asked.
She checked her points panel.
"Eep!"
She squealed in shock. She had ten thousand points, the most she had ever accumulated since she started playing.
"I am rich." she screamed.
"Relax, and don't you dare waste the points. You were successful because you had help. You can only use three hundred points for yourself, the rest goes to stronger song spells." Her system was quick to remind her.
"Yes, almighty guardian. It shall be done as you say." she said responded happily.
She was rich in points, it was time to take her piano and cello playing skills to one hundred.
Points: 10035
Piano: [34/100]
"Take this to one hundred." she told the blue elf.
Cello: [18/100]
"This too, take it to one hundred." she added.
"As you wish, but you have used more than one hundred points already." the system told her.
She was going to distribute more points to violin but she pulled back.
Flute: [40/100]
"Then do the same for flute. It deserves to be at a hundred because I have relied on it in three fights. I might as well be excellent at it."
"You have ninety two points left to use." The system told her.
She scratched her chin as she thought of where best to use those points.
She tapped the panel with her personal stats.
Hearing: [30/100]
Vision: [33/100]
Speed: [27/100]
Strength: [55/100]
Vitality: [70/100]
Memory: [14/100]
"Well, that was not there before." She tapped the word memory. Anyway, give ten to fifteen to each."
Vitality and strength were looking good. She wondered what would happen if they reached one hundred. Would be superhuman strong?
Someone knocked on her door and she looked away from the virtual screen. It was probably time to do the business which had brought her to the hotel.
Just before she stood up, she sent Caishen a text.
