The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system-Chapter 92: Is young master Zhang stupid?
Caishen's words were like a bucket of ice cold water being poured over the heads of the three people who had come for dinner with a plan.
They successfully infuriated all three of them and made them react differently.
Billi glared at Caishen in anger, Jing Hee looked at him with surprise while Qianfan slammed his fist on the table.
The forks, spoons and chopsticks rattled against the plates.
The closest servers who were standing nearby looked over at their table.
"You will do no such thing." Lin Qianfan said in a raised and stern voice.
"Oh." Caishen said in a soft voice.
His expression was calm but his eyes were cold and fierce. The way he was looking at Lin Qianfan was if he was looking at the most insignificant person in the world who should not dare to have a say in how Caishen decided to live his life.
Lin Qianfan folded like a fan and he smiled awkwardly.
"Young master Zhang, I did not mean to raise my voice at you." he said politely.
"Then what did you mean?" Caishen asked him.
Qianfan looked at Alix and said, "I am sure that my daughter will not be so foolish as to think about making such an insane decision.
You need heirs young master. Who else will inherit Zhang constructions and all it's subsidiary companies if not for you children?"
Caishen looked at Xiaobo and he pointed to him.
"I have an older brother that is perfectly capable of siring heirs for my family."
Alix, in sync with Caishen asked Xiaobo, "Sweetie, do you want to be a CEO? You will have so much money and afford to eat everything you want and buy all the toys in the world."
Xiaobo nodded with a big smile on his face.
Alix looked at Lin Qianfan with a provocative glint in her eyes and said, "See, father, don't worry about the future of Zhang construction and it's subsidiary companies. You should worry about the future of Lin power holdings.
You are becoming older and you have no male heirs. Have you and step mother looked into options like surrogacy, IVF and egg donation."
Alix knew that she would never inherit a thing from him. Not with those two vultures watching over him.
The right side corner of Jing Hee's mouth trembled. All she wanted to do was tear off Alix's pretentious face right now. She was saying all this deliberately to mock her.
Qianfan frowned and gave Jing Hee a threatening side eye, warning her not to respond.
"Older sister don't say that. We live in the modern world and female heirs are just as good as male ones." Billi said.

Alix tousled Xiaobo's hair gently with a mysterious smile on her face.
"I am thirty one and you are thirty, we can barely tell who is older of the two of us. You don't have to call me older sister all the time. Maybe we should switch it up sometimes and I should be the one to call you older sister."
She looked at Jing Hee when she said this to see how the other would react.
"Don't be ridiculous, you are the older sister." Jing Hee blurted out loudly.
Alix giggled and said sonorously, "But we don't know....."
"Enough." Lin Qianfan bellowed.
They were diverting so far from the issue at hand which was Alix and Caishen having children. It was all that was important here to him as it was the one thing that could firmly cement the Lin's and Zhang's together.
"Young master." he looked again at Caishen and lowered his voice. "If your father was alive today he would not want you to make careless decisions like not having children. Surely you will not let your father down. Alix is a woman, she doesn't get to decide if she wants children or not.
You are the man, the decision to carry on the family name is for the man to make, not the woman. My daughter will follow your wishes, I can assure you of that."
Lin Qianfan sounded desperate at this point.
Alix had even caught him sneakily glaring at Xiaobo furtively since Caishen said that he could inherit Zhang construction.
It was really amazing how ready he was to offer her up just so that he could fulfill his own ambitions. Her face was covered in disgust and Alix was all but ready to leave.
Caishen picked up his phone, looked at it and then he looked at Qianfan who was had expectations of a positive response in his eyes.
"Well, this was a lovely dinner but Xiaobo has school tomorrow so we should go. Thank you so much for inviting us out father-in-law."
"No, wait a minute." Lin Qianfan jumped up and laughed nervously.
'Say good night Xiaobo." Alix stood up and urged Xiaobo to stand as well.
"Goodnight scary grandma and grandpa." Xiaobo said with a cheeky smile on his face.
Alix guffawed while Jing Hee glared at her.
She shrugged and tousled Xiaobo's hair, secretly commending him for being a good boy. She had not even asked or taught him that.
All of their yelling had probably led Xiaobo to make his own judgement.
Despite Lin Qianfan's insistence, Alix and Caishen left the restaurant, sticking him with the bill as he had been the one to invite them out.
As he waited for his bank card to be returned, he glared at Jing Hee and Billi.
"You two were supposed to be helpful but all you did was waste valuable time. I should have come alone as I planned."
Jing Hee and Billi shared a look. The daughter telling the mother to coax the father.
"Honey, it did not go so badly."
Qianfan glared at Jing Hee wishing he could slap her mouth shut.
"Did you not hear him saying that he would allow his brother's little bastard to inherit the company? Instead of staying on course and convincing him otherwise you were glaring because she mentioned your failure in giving me a male child and arguing about who is older. Jing Hee, I think you are beginning to lose focus as you age."
"Honey," Jing Hee moved closer and latched onto Qianfan's arm. "It is not yet over. We can simply go over Caishen's head.
Do you think that the elder Zhang's or madam Yura will allow Alix to have a say in this matter? She has to give them heirs whether she wants to or not.
I will arrange a meeting with madam Yura and arrange this matter myself."
Qianfan rubbed his chin with his right hand as he thought about her suggestion and he smiled. She was right, it was not Alix's decision to make, not even Caishen's.
"Honey, about Alix's job with director Ban and her new compositions." she added coquettishly.
"Don't worry, I am already dealing with that issue." he answered.
Billi squealed with excitement. "Father, I knew you were the best."
