The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system-Chapter 96: Majesty, the cat.
"Let's see, the paladin got a charko beast and the dwarf got a nine tailed fox." It responded.
Before she could ask the system what a charko beast was, she guffawed over what in her opinion was bad luck for the dwarf. Of all beasts to get, he got a nine tailed fox.
In every game she had ever played their greatest power was seduction and hypnosis.
She could not imagine the male dwarf batting his eyes and seducing other players.
Perhaps it would have been better if the paladin got the fox.
"Anybody can be anything in the gaming world." The system told her.
"Well, that's true." She answered.
But she still found it quite whimsical and chuckle worthy.
The battle for the magical beast avatars soon ended and every game player left. Only she and the NPC's that lived near the pavilion were left.
They were rebuilding the pavilion which the Alix and other game players had destroyed. There was one card left, a white one which was in the rubble.
"Mmm, that's weird." She mumbled. "Baize go down."
The ostrich swooped down and landed on the ground.
"Hello, thank you for working hard." Alix greeted the NPC's.
You never knew which one of them had a quests for you so she always interacted with them all as much as she could.
She found the white card laying in the middle where the golden pillar had been. It was just there, unnoticed and no one seemed to care.
Alix looked around once and then she bent down and picked it up.
"Hey system can I have two beast avatars?" She asked curiously.
"That's not an...." The system started to respond.
"Activate." Alix's mouth moved faster than the system could explain.
The card hovered in the air, vanished and in it's place, a beautiful golden cat with the greenest eyes she had ever seen.
"Congratulations, you found the secret card with majesty the lucky cat. Treat him like a king and he will reward you. Treat him like a pauper and he will curse you."
A voice said this to her. She heard it in her mind andbshe was the only one because nobody around was reacting.
"Errrrr...." she mumbled.
"System, explain."
"Now you want my explanation." It retorted. It had been explaining when she activated the card suddenly and now they were stuck with a cat that had the attitude of a diva and a rich taste in everything.
"Hey human, I am hungry."
At first, Alix could not tell where the voice was coming from.
"Hey human, down here." The voice called.
Alix looked and she saw the golden cat sitting up and looking at her expectantly.
"If you don't feed me I will curse you." It opened it's mouth and said.
Alix gasped and pointed to the cat.
"You can talk." She gasped.
The cat replied in a disdain filled voice, "Of course I can talk. I am majesty, the lucky cat. Kings and Great people will die to serve me.
Be happy that you get to be my servant. Now find me food before I curse you."
"I would suggest you find it food and by the way, you are not leaving that prissy cat with me.
Take it to the human world because you brought this on yourself.
Also, don't mention me to the cat because it is an intelligent creature. We don't need it alerting the game organisers about your illegal presence here.
This means you should keep it in the human world as much as you can."
"Human," the cat said impatiently.
"I know, I heard you the first time round. Let's go shopping in the city for food." She spoke softly lest she be cursed.
"Get me a full history on the cat." She told the system.
"On it."
She lowered her arms and picked up the cat. Her intention was to cradle the arrogant in her hands but it had different plans. It leaped from her hands and climbed onto her right side shoulder.
"Let's go, human." It said in an authoritative voice.
Every time it said human all Alix heard was hoo-man. Majesty the lucky cat was actually kind of cute. He had a big attitude but he was as cute as any other cat. Even cuter than baby perhaps.
She wondered what Caishen would say when he saw this one in the morning. Would it be claimed pampered like baby?
Majesty certainly seemed like a cat that would demand to be pampered.
As she lost herself in her thoughts, she found herself in the local market.

"Meat." Majesty said.
Alix rolled her eyes. She had eyes, of course she could see the meat. She had walked this way because she saw the meat.
"Choose the goat meat." Majesty told her.
"How much?" She asked the butcher.
It was already pre-packed and she pointed to a medium sized portion.
"Twenty coins."
She paid and moved to a different stall, one selling pork.
It was a good thing that most of the world's had foods and animals familiar to those of earth.
The virtual gaming world was so thorough that images of the animals the meat came from were added besides the meat.
From the meat stalls, she went shopping for fruits, and other groceries.
She considered the fact that she was not in a cooking mood and she bought cooked food as well.
The system sighed as it watched the game currency dwindle, one coin at a time all because the host had been greedy for an extra beast avatar.
Alix found a bench outside, sat down and waited patiently for the cat to eat.
To pass time, she observed the city and enjoyed watching the NPC'S live like real humans.
They rushed to work, children went off to school, a drunk man was thrown out of a tavern which made her giggle.
Women walked their pets and couples went on dates.
If she didn't know that this was just a virtual gaming world, she would really think it was a real. A real world that happened to have magic.
The system had mentioned to her that not all the world's were magical and some were high tech. Now those, she could not wait to see.
"Do you want to buy some flowers?" A young man stood in front of her with a basket of flowers and asked.
"Not really." She answered.
"I promise they will make your loved one smile." He said.
Alix looked at the yellow roses and smiled. She could give some to her hubby and friends.
"Okay." She answered.
"Human, I want to sleep." Majesty, now satisfied, told her this.
She sighed picked up the cat and left the virtual world for the real one.
Majesty of course came with her and he walked through her music room curiously.
"Your palace is small human."
The cat sounded disgruntled as if she had brought it to the world's worst motel.
She opened the door to the music room so that the cat would walk around the entire house if it pleased.
A surprise, however was awaiting her.
Caishen was outside the door, his arm was raised. It looked like he had been about to open it as well.
"Hubby." She said in a surprised voice.
Caishen sighed and took her hand. "Let's go to bed."
