The Young Urban Doctor-Chapter 827 - She is Near You
Chapter 827: Chapter 827: She is Near You
Chapter 827: Chapter 827: She is Near You
Luo Ziling sat in his seat, disoriented, blankly staring at the figures speeding past the window.
The beautiful attendant had just announced that the next stop was Jin City South Station, arriving in thirty-four minutes.
Luo Ziling decided to get off at Jin City South Station and then try to contact Yang Qingyin.
He was certain that Yang Qingyin, for some reason, had not boarded this high-speed train. Luo Ziling stubbornly believed she wouldn’t have left early nor taken a later train. Only after returning to Yanjing might he possibly find Yang Qingyin.
Getting off at the nearest station and catching a train back to Yanjing was a decision Luo Ziling made without much thought.
Soon, the high-speed train reached Jin City South Station. Luo Ziling got off the train but didn’t leave the platform or immediately board a train back. He thought of someone who might be able to help him locate where Yang Qingyin was.
In a secluded part of the platform, Luo Ziling, with his luggage in hand, called Wang Zhenjun.

“Dull Bird, help me locate a phone number,” Luo Ziling said as he called Wang Zhenjun.
In his anxiety, he hadn’t thought of Wang Zhenjun until the high-speed train was almost at Jin City South Station; then he decided to ask Wang Zhenjun to help find Yang Qingyin.
Once, Wang Zhenjun had said he could locate a phone’s owner through network positioning, as long as the phone and owner were together—even if the phone was turned off.
Hearing Luo Ziling’s instruction like that, Wang Zhenjun naturally didn’t refuse and immediately began tracking, not even hanging up the phone.
“Comrade young master, isn’t this Yang Qingyin’s number?” Wang Zhenjun’s surprised voice came loudly over the phone. “Why don’t you just call her?”
“Her phone seems to be off. Find her location immediately,” Luo Ziling curtly commanded Wang Zhenjun without wanting to explain further, “Check now and locate her quickly. Don’t spout nonsense.”
“All right,” Wang Zhenjun dared not ask further and immediately started locating Yang Qingyin’s phone using his special system.
However, since Yang Qingyin’s phone was off, the location process was much slower than when it was on, as the technology used wasn’t the same.
Wang Zhenjun asked Luo Ziling to hang up the call because his phone being in the call state could interfere with the system.
If he found Yang Qingyin’s location, he would call Luo Ziling right away.
With no other option, Luo Ziling hung up the call.
While Luo Ziling had been on the phone, three high-speed trains had already stopped at Jin City South Station and departed.
The distance from Yanjing to Jin City was short, and the high-speed train had become like a city bus service; therefore, many high-speed trains ran on this rail line each day.
But Luo Ziling paid no attention to the whizzing trains; his mind was entirely on the phone call—waiting anxiously for Wang Zhenjun to call back after hanging up.
As Luo Ziling anxiously waited for Wang Zhenjun’s call back, another high-speed train pulled into the station.
After the train entered the station, a group of passengers disembarked from the carriage, while many more crowded into the carriage, heading south.
Inside the carriage, two women sitting together simultaneously noticed Luo Ziling lingering on the platform while they aimlessly looked out the window.
“Miss, he got off,” the less attractive woman whispered to the beautiful woman, “He probably realized you weren’t on the train, so he got off at this station. Shall we get off too and meet him?”
The beautiful woman stared absentmindedly at Luo Ziling, who was waiting on the platform with his suitcase, and couldn’t speak for a long while. She, of course, wanted to get off, but couldn’t help hesitating, feeling incredibly conflicted.
In her moment of hesitation, the high-speed train started again.
This high-speed train only stopped at Jin City South Station for two minutes, and those two minutes quickly passed.
The two women saw Luo Ziling on the platform suddenly raise his cell phone to his ear as if he were answering a call.
“Young master comrade, Yang Qingyin’s location is right near you, about fifteen meters away,” Luo Ziling heard Wang Zhenjun’s anxious voice as he answered the call, “She’s right near you, no, she’s slowly moving away from you, now thirty meters, fifty meters!”
Warned by Wang Zhenjun, Luo Ziling abruptly saw the high-speed train slowly pulling away from the platform and immediately realized what was happening.
He threw his luggage aside and, regardless of anything else, chased after the high-speed train, running forward and desperately waving his arms at the train.
But the high-speed train picked up speed, and Luo Ziling hadn’t reached the end of the platform when it disappeared from view.
Inside the carriage, the beautiful woman watching Luo Ziling frantically chase after the train could no longer control her tears, which started rolling down.
The plain-looking woman beside her also had moist eyes.
She softly said to the beautiful woman, “Miss, there must be some misunderstanding. Otherwise, he wouldn’t be like this.”
“Xiaoli, don’t talk anymore,” the beautiful woman wiped the tears from her eyes, but her head was still not turned around, staring outside.
The other woman, thus, fell silent.
After running frantically after the train for a while, Luo Ziling eventually ran back to the platform, dejected.
Fortunately, his luggage hadn’t been taken, but as he walked back to where he’d left his luggage, two on-duty policemen approached him.
Luo Ziling was checking on his phone where the high-speed train that had just left Jin City South Station was headed when he found out through the 12306 service, and the two policemen approached him.
“Comrade, please show your identity documents,” the leading policeman, who was carrying a firearm, saluted Luo Ziling and politely asked to see his ID.
Luo Ziling, feeling anxious and even more upset at being questioned by the policemen, thought for a moment and then took out his Dragon Rise credentials, showing them to the policemen.
The two policemen didn’t recognize the Dragon Rise credentials, but the insignia, which indicated a special department, still surprised them, making them salute again and very politely ask if they could help with anything.
“I’m on a trip, got off at the wrong station, can I use my original ticket to take the next train?” Luo Ziling asked the two policemen.
“Of course you can,” the leading policeman said in surprise, glancing at his colleague before immediately responding to Luo Ziling’s inquiry and curiously asking, “I just don’t know where you’re trying to go.”
Luo Ziling ambiguously answered, “I need to track down someone. She left here on the previous high-speed train, and I didn’t make it on time.”
Just then, another high-speed train arrived at the station, and one policeman promptly said, “You can take this high-speed train. This train overlaps significantly with the route of the previous one, and it’s faster. After three more stops, it will have caught up with the other train.”
After hearing what the policeman said, Luo Ziling, without any hesitation, grabbed his suitcase and rushed into the newly arrived high-speed train.
