This Insane Demon Lord wants a normal life-Chapter 33: Mission Reward
While genesis is the representation of a player’s soul. Power level is the representation of a player’s physical trait.
With power levels broken down through ranks and numbers.
A player’s transition from Fledglings to Intermediate level is like taking his first step into the supernatural world.
A space brimming with the unknown and the uncertain.
The more higher a player climbs in ranks. The more their power level increases.
But once a player reaches the expert level.
It’s hard for them to transcend into the master level.
The intermediate and expert levels are more commons amongst players and that’s one reason masters are treasured.
Respected and honored in all paths they follow....
To the world of <Trident of the Fallen Seas>
Masters are prophets and Grand Masters are demigods.
Grand Masters are beings close to the level of gods. They’re the peak of humanity in it’s true form.

The group of Darklings rode their horses with a sense of purpose, their faces set with determination. As they followed the carriage’s trail.
Their eyes fixed on the horizon.
Their horses’ hooves pounded the earth, a rhythmic beat that echoed through the landscape, as they galloped across the rolling hills and verdant plains.
Cathryn led the way, amongst the mobilized armored Darklings.
She’s the only master level player.
There were thirty mobilized Darklings excluding her, ten were expert level players and twenty were intermediate level players.
Each had perfected their own genesis.
Cathryn rolled her eyes sideways, glancing at the female Darkling who rode her horse by her left.
Her name’s Amaya. A player who walks the path of Beast Tamer genesis.
She’s a seventh level expert.
A player who just recently transitioned from the level of an intermediate player.
Amaya noticed the glance of Cathryn.
"Enforcer Cathryn. Is there any problem?" Amaya asked.
She whipped her horse, prompting it to boost its speed.
Cathryn exhaled a soft sigh.
"How long until we reach the carriage?" Cathryn questioned.
Amaya’s connected her vision with her eagle spirit beast. She calculated the distance between them.
"We’re just a few hundred kilometers away from the carriage. If we move faster, we could catch up"
Amaya explained.
"Tch"
"Could huh?" Cathryn questioned.
"Well let’s keep moving at our usual pace. Until we receive a signal from the Chief Enforcer then we will move"
"Once Gerald gives the command signal to apprehend the target. We move without care"
She instructed.

While they were being chased, Cassie leaned against the carriage window, her face pressed against the glass as she gazed out at the passing landscape.
Her eyes glazed over with boredom.
Craig sat calmly on the carriage seat, his eyes fixed on the pages of his book. His expression serene and untroubled.
As if the Cassie’s restlessness was of no concern to him.
Meanwhile Ramposa lay curled up on his lap, her head resting against his chest, her gently snores a soothing accompaniment to the carriage’s rhythmic motion.
They had already passed the town they once slept in.
Craig’s hand rested gently on Ramposa’s shoulder, his fingers splayed protectively over her frame.
As if guarding her from the world’s troubles.
The sunlight streaming through the window highlighted the dusk motes dancing in the air as Cassie’s gaze drifted lazily over the passing landscape.
Cassie growled.
Her growl drew in the attention of Craig. Craig’s gaze shifted, his eyes rolled sideways.
"What’s wrong Cassie?" He asked.
"Are we still going to keep playing this game? I’m sure you’re aware that they’ve got us being watched by that spirit beast up there"
"Shouldn’t we shoot it down?" Cassie asked.
"Cassie..."
Craig exhaled a soft sigh.
"You’re becoming more violent like Ramposa. I though you’re the gentle one here, I guess being with Ramposa changed you"
Craig said.
"And yes I’m aware that we’re being tracked by that spirit beast up there, but there’s nothing we could do"
"We’re in the enemies territory so there’s no need to act rash regarding this situation"
"Let’s act normal until we leave the Raine Kingdom"
Craig stated.
Cassie shrugged off her shoulders.
"And what if they attacked us before we leave the Raine Kingdom. What should we do?" Cassie asked.
"Well you girls will handle it, I’ll be busy reading my book"
Craig giggled softly.
He turned to the next page.
Just then the system’s window appeared before his eyes. The floating virtual panel expanded in size.
It radiated and shimmered in cerulean hue.
Craig’s brows furrowed at the sight of the system’s window.

[Congratulations you have completed the special mission designated to you the champion of Fate]
[Mission Rank: S+]
[The Summit Arc has come to a close]
[All restrictions placed on you has been lifted]
[You have completed three tasks]
[Calculating reward.....]
[Reward: 2x Leveling Stat, 500 Fate Points, A Blank Card, 1 Inventory Ticket and a mystical egg]
Craig’s face fell, a mask of dissatisfaction settling over his features, as if his expectations had been dashed.
"Is this all?" He questioned.
He exhaled a sigh of defeat.
He continued.
"Since it was an S+ rank mission. I expected I would have lots and lots of rewards from this mission"
"Fate had my life on the line constantly and yet the rewards is this small?"
Craig shook his head.
He laid-back against his seat, still observing his reward.
Craig gently stroked his chin.
"Pandora" He called out.
[Yes?]
"If i should recall, I can use a hundred and fifty Fate points to awaken a sealed sub authority right?"
Craig asked.
[Affirmative...]
[The required sum of a hundred and fifty Fate points is necessary for the unsealing of a single sub authority]
[Would you like to unleash your sub authority?]
[Yes] [No]
"Hmmm..."
"Well I only have two active Sequence sub authorities. My Father of the Night Sequence Authority is more than this"
"So I’ll pick yes"
Craig clicked the Yes button.
[Notice]
[150 Fate points has been deducted from your personal data]
[Choose the Authority you would like to awaken]
[Sequence Authority: Father of the Night]
[Utopian Authority: Beast Monarch]
Craig chose the sequence authority.
[Congratulations.....]
[You have awakened a new sequence sub authority]
[Sub Authority: Shadow Morpher]
Craig was not satisfied with only a single sub authority so he sacrificed another 150 Fate points.
But this time he chose the Beast Monarch Authority.
[Congratulations.....]
[You have awakened a new utopian sub authority]
[Sub Authority: Beastification]
Three hundred Fate points was spent within ten minutes. Craig now has two new sub authorities at his disposal.
He added a hundred Fate points into his stats and leveling his tamed beasts as well.
Only a hundred was kept for later.
Craig was still checking out the rewards when he summoned the Blank Card and the Blank Card spawned into his hand.
"Pandora, what is this Blank Card?" Craig asked
[A Blank Card is an empty slot. You can use it to summon and tame a new spirit beast or awaken a new Authority]
[Its your choice to decide]
Pandora explained.
"Hmmm...."
Craig was left in deep thoughts. He was tempted to summon a new spirit beast but he had to store it for another time.
"I’ll leave the blank card until I’m ready to make use of it and now, let’s focus on the next one"
"The last two rewards is the Mystical egg and the single Inventory Ticket"
"Is the Inventory Ticket just like Fate’s Ticket?" Craig asked.
[Its similar but it’s different. With the Inventory Ticket, you will be given a single chance to chose a sacred weapon]
[But you will not be permitted back into the Fate’s Archive]
[The Inventory Shop will come to you]
Pandora informed.
Craig exhaled a soft sigh.
"Well I guess that will be left for later. Now the last on the reward list is this Mystical Egg"
Craig muttered. Just then a green scaled egg appeared on his hand.
His wives were immediately alerted by the presence of the egg.
For a second, Craig was startled by his wives sudden reaction.
He firmly gripped the egg.
"What is it?" Craig asked.
"Scared of a little egg?" Craig mocked with a grin.
But Ramposa scoffed at his mockery. She calmed herself down.
Not removing her eyes from the living egg.
Her eyebrows furrowed.
"We’re not scared of the living egg but what’s sealed within the egg"
Ramposa spoke out.
Craig’s eyebrows curled up.
"Huh? What’re you talking about? This is just a mysterious egg, do you know what’s in there?" Craig asked.
Ramposa squinted her eyes as she quietly observed the egg from where she stood.
She heaved in relief.
"I’ve not a single idea what’s sealed within that egg but I can tell you for a certain..."
"Whatever it’s in that egg. It’s a calamity class"
"Something capable of destroying the world if it fully grows"
