Transmigrated Become Sukuna, but the host is Yukinoshita Yukino?-Chapter 183 - 185: Haruno, Go!
Chapter 183 - 185: Haruno, Go!
Sunday. Another idle day at home.
Yukinoshita Haruno leaned back in her chair, reading a thick English novel. The foreign language didn't feel difficult for her at all.
She let out a bored sigh. Just as she closed the book, a steaming cup of tea was placed in front of her.
"Why the sigh? Are you bored from reading at home?"
Yukinoshita's mother sat down on a nearby armchair, elegantly sipping her own tea.
"Or are you thinking about going out?"
"It's boring, but not because of that."
Haruno sighed again, making the woman glance at her more than once.
The reason she felt bored was simple.
Ever since she started using her clone to escape her mother's arrangements, she no longer had to spend all her time on them.
And with Hayashizaki's owl familiar, she could go wherever she wanted.
But now that she had all this free time, she found herself uninterested in everything.
It was like working or going to school for a long time—when you finally quit or go on break, the first few days feel great, but after a while, doing nothing becomes dull and empty.
Why not try talking to your mom properly?
Hayashizaki's voice echoed in her mind.
Talk? About what? Tell her life is boring, and I want some fun?
Haruno responded in her mind, sounding exasperated.
No way.
Her mother always wore a kind smile, but she never allowed anyone to go against her will.
However, Hayashizaki thought Haruno was being too harsh.
After all, he had seen that same strict mother panic in fear over her daughter's safety.
This family simply lacked a chance to open up to each other.
Yukinoshita's mother wanted to raise her daughters well and guide them to success.
Haruno wanted to live freely but didn't want her sister to bear the weight of the family.
Yukino had a strong sense of justice and dreamed of changing the world through politics.
But none of them communicated.
They all just acted on their own beliefs, creating the tangled mess of a relationship they had now.
Haruno desperately kept her sister away from things that, ironically, Yukino wanted most.
Fate really had a sense of humor.
But everything was about to change.
Because an outsider—like a truck veering off course—had crashed into the lives of these two girls.
Yukino had already stepped onto the path of justice she longed for.
And Haruno's dream of freedom was right within reach—she just hadn't realized it yet.

Of course, if he could help improve the Yukinoshita family's relationship, Hayashizaki would be happy to do so.
That was why he made the suggestion.
But seeing how deeply Haruno was stuck in her perception of her mother, this wasn't something that could be rushed.
So, he let the topic drop after just a brief mention.
Sometimes, a little push was enough.
Say one more word, and it'll get annoying.
After all, in Yukinoshita Haruno's eyes, she had only woken up three days ago as "Demon-san." Even if she had returned from the future, there was no reason she should know every little detail about her own family.
"This is your mistake, so you need to bear the consequences yourself," Yukinoshita's mother said calmly.
Hearing that, a vein twitched on Haruno's forehead. The one who had messed up was Hayashizaki, who took the blame in her place, yet she was the one dealing with the consequences.
She had almost forgotten about it, but her mother kept bringing it up, as if to remind her not to make the same mistake again.
The more the short-haired girl thought about it, the angrier she became. In the end, she downed her cup of hot tea in one go, stood up without expression, and said, "I'm going to my room."
Watching her eldest daughter walk away with a stiff expression, Yukinoshita's mother sighed and shook her head.
Haruno had never been this defiant after being scolded before. She used to quietly accept her mistakes and correct them.
Haruno... she must be going through a rebellious phase.
For the first time, Yukinoshita's mother found herself troubled over how to educate her daughter.
Meanwhile, Yukinoshita Haruno stormed back to her room, threw herself onto her soft bed, rolled over once, and grabbed her pillow. Imagining it as Hayashizaki, she punched it twice to vent her frustration.
"This is all your fault! Mother still won't let it go!" she said angrily.
Knowing he was in the wrong, Hayashizaki didn't argue and smoothly changed the subject. "You don't seem to have any hobbies. Unlike your sister, who likes reading and playing with cats."
At the mention of Yukinoshita Yukino, Haruno's attention shifted. Curious, she asked, "Yukino likes cats?"
"You didn't know?" Hayashizaki asked, surprised.
"No. She never showed any desire to have a pet at home," Haruno said, hugging her pillow and staring at the ceiling. "Maybe she never dared to. She may look calm, but she's actually pretty timid."
"I know that better than you do," the black-haired young man said casually.
The brief moment of peace between them was instantly shattered.
Haruno frowned and said, "You know better than me? I've grown up with Yukino since we were kids!"
"But you just found out she likes cats," Hayashizaki countered.
"You don't think that just because you knew what kind of pet she liked before me, you understand her better than I do, do you?" She raised an eyebrow, her tone filled with disdain.
"Heh."
Hayashizaki simply chuckled without saying anything, making Haruno grind her teeth in frustration.
At this point, she had completely forgotten about her mother's scolding earlier about drinking at the banquet.
"So, you really don't have anything you like?"
The conversation circled back, but Haruno wasn't in the mood to answer seriously. She replied casually, "Not really. I don't feel excited about anything."
"Besides, before now, when did I ever have time to develop any hobbies?"
She let out a self-deprecating laugh.
After a brief silence, Hayashizaki suddenly said, "Then go find one."
"Huh?" Haruno blinked in confusion.
"Right now."
