Transmigration; A Mother's Redemption and a perfect Wife.-Chapter 82; What happened!
Chapter 82: Chapter 82; What happened!
"Minghao? What are you doing here?" She seemed surprised to see her in her bed but not on the bed light, she didn’t seem to express any disgust or hatred.
"Ahhh?" Minghao trembled, frightened, she didn’t know what to say; she opened and closed her mouth nervously, wondering if her mother would hate her for sleeping there on the same bed with her.
"This is a hospital, you shouldn’t have slept here knowing tomorrow is a school day! Haiya!Ting Cheng, you would have to send her home knowing tomorrow is a school day, stop spoiling them as they will be delayed in their syllabus... Don’t be too lenient!" She began scolding him first then recalled he singlehandedly raised them since birth.
"Aahh! Forget it; you know what’s best for them, but Ting Cheng, I’m hungry." She hoarsely spoke up trying to sit up while her tummy heavily rumbled.
Hearing that statement, Minghao immediately calmed down, knowing she wasn’t bashing her. She had felt cold and a light shiver with heavy butterflies in her tummy, and her clenched palms had begun sweating. She sneakily loosened them
"She couldn’t fall asleep because she missed you so she came over here to accompany us! I will go and find something for you to eat." He gently pecked her forehead.
"Okay, Mother, I will also go on." She also kissed her on the cheek. Tang Fei stretched her arms and dragged her into her arms giving her several cheeks on her cheeks too. She was so squeamish and she couldn’t get enough of her.
She gazed into those eyes that were dark ocean blue, "gazing into your eyes, I do get a certain devaju!" She softly muttered but they still heard those whispers.
"All right, wifie, she needs to go." He got off the bed and picked Huo Minghao up strolling out of the bedroom over to the corridor. He had noticed his wife gazing at Huo Minghao also trying to recall something of which he didn’t want her to recall anything at the moment.
It wasn’t that late at night but early in the morning, it was around five.
"Father..." Huo Minghao didn’t want to go to a boarding school more so now her relationship wasn’t that good with her mother. If she stayed in a boarding school, how was she going to cultivate her relationship with her mother?
"You will be going to the same school, I’m not changing the two of you for the time being!" He took the stairs up to the first floor; he actually was threatening them just with words; he didn’t have any plans to send them over to the boarding school. In the corridor, he let her go back into her bedroom to get ready, as it was soon time to leave for school.
He went downstairs over to the kitchen, prepared some soy milk, and warmed it, plus other fruits and cereals that were light for the stomach. He arranged them on the food tray.
He picked up the tray and strode back into the bedroom placing the tray on top of the bedside drawer.
"Honey, did we change wardrooms? This looks a bit different and fancy." She had been checking the place out, but it seemed to be different from the one she slept knowing.
Huo Ting Cheng was surprised to hear her question, did she think they were in the wardroom?
He assisted her to sit up on the bed while placing the pillows behind her back so that she could lean back comfortably onto the headboard.
"No! We are back home!" He politely responded, before checking her out to understand what was up with her.
"Back home? Did the doctors allow us to be discharged like that? How is Huo Zhihao? Did the fever go down?" She turned around and gazed at the boy lying in bed on the other bed.
"Yeah! Here, have soy milk first!" He was confused and wondered if she was trying to avoid talking about what happened yesterday or if she just forgot all that.
He frowned gazing into those pure eyes that were adoring him while serving her with the soy milk, "I will be back in a minute." He got out of the bedroom and sent one of his guards to call the doctor over who rushed through the entrance door in his pajamas.
With her reaction last night, he thought maybe the situation had become serious and it was an emergency.
"What happened!" He was worried, and working with this man, you had to be on your toes; it’s just that he paid them very well.
"She just asked me how we got discharged! It seems like she doesn’t recall much apart from that morning we talked about Huo Zhihao having a fever." He hurriedly explained to the doctor.
"That could be a psychological trauma response, she might have forgotten everything that happened in between until now." They walked into the bedroom and she was elegantly having her soy milk.
"Missus, how are you feeling today?" He queried, getting closer, and began checking her temperature and pressure before checking her heartbeat rate.
"I’m feeling better, doctor; I slightly feel a bit weak; maybe I need to eat more solid foods, right?" She had missed having some sour pork ribs with fried noodles.
She wanted to have some fried chicken drumsticks and French fries. She had a list of food she wanted to have.
"Oooh, I will tell him to change your diet and add more nutritional solid foods. Do you recall what happened last evening?" He queried watching her facial expressions.
"Did something happen that I need to recall or I should know of? I think I have been sleeping all this time; nothing much happened, and by the way, where are Huo Tinghao and Huo Feihao? They were with me in the wardroom. Did we leave them behind?" She then recalled that the two kids weren’t in the same room with her.
