Transmigration; A Mother's Redemption and a perfect Wife.-Chapter 84; Good morning Father....
Chapter 84: Chapter 84; Good morning Father....
"Good morning Father..." Her voice was shaky like someone caught doing something terrible.
"Good morning, I can see you are up and ready, I will wait for you downstairs to have your breakfast!" He strolled out of the room and over to the corridor. Went over to Minghao’s bedroom.
He knocked at the door before getting inside, "Father, I’m ready, but I don’t seem to find some of my books!" She had been searching for them but couldn’t see where she had put them.
"Books? When you came back home last time from school, were they with you? Did you pack them or you could have accidentally left them on your desk!" He slightly frowned, with a busy and emotional weekend, they didn’t remember to pack and check their books.
"I did, Father; I did pack all the books!" She could vividly recall that.
"We can buy new ones, you don’t have to get yourself worked up!" She might be proud and arrogant, but she was very careful with her things. She was smart in school and always made sure her books were nicely stored away after completing her homework.
"Father, they are my homework books!" She felt like crying; she had done and completed her homework; now, where would the books go? What was she going to represent to the teacher? She would lose her perfect score if she didn’t submit her completed homework.
She slightly felt terrible, and her eyes voluntarily teared up; she couldn’t blame anyone, but she was certain that her book was inside the school bag by the time she got back home.
She suddenly realized how a nuisance she was, apart from being melodramatic and fighting, she couldn’t accomplish anything. No wonder her mother hated her, she was so useless.
"Minghao..." Sixth Master Huo was suddenly worried seeing her like this.
"Father, go on... I will be down in a minute." She gently nudged him away out of her bedroom closing the door. She didn’t want him to see her in such a mess. She didn’t know where to start from with all these.
Sixth Master Huo stood there at the door and didn’t know what to say or do since yesterday when her mother shooed her away. She seemed to have changed, and her self-esteem vanished. She seemed to be affected.
He didn’t want to budge in, so he walked out of their bedroom and went down the stairs into the living; there, on the couch, he could see Secretary Li and Huo Qi having a morning coffee.
"You two! You should get married and stop coming over here to drink my coffee!" He grumpily spoke up heading over to the couch and settled down just close to them.
The maids served him a cup of coffee, too, "Good morning, Sixth Master Huo.." they politely greeted him before strolling away to bring some snacks.
"So that we can have the same problems as the ones you are having now? We warned you but you never listen, now see? So grumpy early in the morning." Secretary Li coldly scoffed off scolding him. He has always been against getting married, but now, he is having a hard time taking care of all these.
"That’s none of your business!" He glared at him sipping his coffee as the maids brought snacks over to the table.
"Have you heard of Huo Fenghao making strange phone calls or calling someone?" He had noticed she was hiding her phone behind her back through the mirror that was on the bed when he went into her bedroom. If she wasn’t guilty, she wouldn’t have hid it.
"She would always hang up whenever she saw someone coming in her direction, so, we have never heard what she says or who she talks to!" The maid politely responded before going back to deal with other things.
"You are doubting something?" Huo Qi was faster to decipher that question! If she made strange calls, who was she talking to? What was the information she was relaying and why was she hiding it?
"Yeah! So, I’m fifty-fifty in keeping her around here... I was thinking of letting her stay in the mansion for a short while while we investigate, but it doesn’t seem to be a good idea." He didn’t know how much she knew and how much she had shared with outsiders and what was their plan. fɾeeweɓnѳveɭ.com
"Aahhhh..." They suddenly heard loud screams coming from the staircase; they hurriedly got up and rushed over, only to see three kids rolling down the stairs, and at the top, Huo Minghao stood there frightened and looking pale.
They hurriedly picked them up from the floor and rushed over to the couch, placing them down; the person who was seriously hurt was Huo Tinghao; he had twisted his ankle, gotten bruised, had ligament tears, and had a cut on his thigh that was heavily bleeding.
The guards rushed over to call the doctor to check up on them; looking at Huo Fenghao, she wasn’t hurt apart from a few bruises, and Huo Feihao wasn’t hurt as she was protected by her brother but had blunt knocks on the body tissue.
Huo Minghao, who was getting down the stairs, didn’t understand what was happening. She hadn’t done anything, but she felt like she was the one at fault.
She weakly walked over to her father’s side and went down to her knees, kowtowing.
"Brother, sisters... Father, I apologize. I don’t know what happened but I accidentally pushed them down the stairs!" Her eyes were red but she didn’t know what else to say, probably it was her fault.
Sixth Master Huo noticed a small cut on the waist of her school dress; she might be clumsy, but pushing the other kids down the stairs. He didn’t think so.
"Get up and come here first! I haven’t said it was your fault, you can tell me what happened bit by bit! Mnnh?" Huo Ting Cheng stretched his hands out over to Huo Minghao.
