Transmigration; A Mother's Redemption and a perfect Wife.-Chapter 85; Father... No! Don’t!
Chapter 85: Chapter 85; Father... No! Don’t!
"Get up and come here first! I haven’t said it was your fault; you can tell me what happened bit by bit, and then we can amicably solve it! Mnnh?" Huo Ting Cheng stretched his hands out over to Huo Minghao signaling her to get up and walk over.
She lifted her head, wondering if he really meant it and if he wouldn’t blame her, but they suddenly heard Huo Fenghao whining from the side, and she didn’t dare to get up from the floor.
"Father, it hurts..."
"It hurts..."
"Father..."
She was calling him coyishly, demanding his attention to herself, whereas Huo Tinghao, who was hurt, didn’t produce any sound.
Huo Ting Cheng didn’t mind her knowing the bruise wasn’t that hurting as she was wailing out.
"This is a small wound, Miss; it doesn’t hurt that much! It’s just a disinfectant causing that sensation on the skin." The nurse noticed she was exaggerating with the way she was whining. Was she trying to make her lose her job? She was so tender and careful cleaning the bruise, but she sounded like the nurse was being rough and manhandling her.
Huo Fenghao was immediately shut up like that by the nurse, and Huo Minghao didn’t get up from down there as she was nervous, wondering if her father would punish her, she didn’t know what to say as she couldn’t prove that she was innocent.
"Come over here and you can tell me what happened. I will listen so long as you talk!" He stretched his hands out to her, and Huo Minghao got up from the floor, walking over and getting closer to her father while she gazed at him innocently with those dark blue eyes that had red rims.
She opened and closed her mouth several times, lacking words that could relay her feelings, but at the same time, she acknowledged her mistakes. But no matter what she planned to say, she wouldn’t express herself the way she wanted.
"Minghao, it isn’t your fault. You just lost your balance, and I noticed you accidentally closed your eyes, almost losing your balance! So, it was intentional!" Feihao hurriedly spoke up for her, she actually didn’t do anything wrong and couldn’t watch and saw her getting wronged for no reason. She wasn’t that bad, she even greeted them when they met at the stairs.
"Yes! You don’t have to get yourself worked up! It wasn’t your fault! It was an accident and accidents do happen all the time. Don’t fault yourself for such a minor occurrence." Huo Tinghao also supported her sister’s point, and this didn’t settle well with Huo Fenghao; things shouldn’t have turned out like this.
Didn’t her father love her the most? Did her father promise her to love her all the time? Then why wasn’t he paying attention to her? Why wasn’t he punishing someone who hurt her?
"You can talk to me, mnnh?" Huo Ting Cheng couldn’t neglect Huo Minghao’s feelings; she was getting hurt, and this would end up hurting her emotions and maybe close up completely keeping everything in her heart. He needed to give her a chance to speak up so that she could always do it no matter what she went through.
Seeing those eyes that were gazing at her in assurance, she finally gathered enough confidence and explained herself.
"Father, when I was getting over to the stairs, I slightly felt dizzy and my body swayed uncontrollably, they were ahead of me and when I stretched my hands to hold something for support, I accidentally pushed them instead of holding onto them as I strangely felt weak and dizzy but it suddenly vanished and regained my conscious." She explained how the entire scenario occurred. She didn’t know if her father would believe her.
She just didn’t understand how she would suddenly become weak and dizzy while she had been eating healthy. Could she be having an incurable disease? Or it could be because of eating late last night?
"Doctor, check up on her once you are done with Tinghao and see what’s the problem with her body..." He instructed the doctor, thinking the situation could be critical and maybe she was sick or having a nutrient deficiency, and the doctor needed to confirm if she was truly fine healthwise.
"Okay..." The doctor was dealing with Huo Tinghao while the two nurses dealt with Huo Feihao and Huo Fenghao.
"Come over here..." He called the guards that were standing at the entrance door, and they walked over, getting closer, "Escort her back to the Huo family mansion; she is Huo Yang’s child; take her back there." He couldn’t keep her in his mansion for a minute longer, even though he needed her to solve a mystery.
Her presence here would only give enemies a channel to attack him; the sooner he uprooted and blocked this opening, the sooner his family would be safe!
"Father, what do you mean by that?" Huo Fenghao was surprised by her Father’s sudden line of action! She hadn’t expected all these decisions and the news fell on her as a bombshell.
The other kids were surprised but they knew their father knew what he was doing!
"Take her back!" It was painful but he found her too suspicious! What if she plotted something with outsiders and ended up hurting other kids? Who was she making phone calls with? What if she already knew her origins? What was her purpose in living with them? What if she knew these plans all along?
He had too many unanswered questions of which, even if he asked her, she wouldn’t be honest with him; he wouldn’t get any answers from her, and it was best to get rid of her now.
"Father, no... Don’t!" In no time, Fenghao was taken away by the guards who would escort her back home, and she didn’t have time to change Huo Ting Cheng’s mind. Yes, he had brought her up since she was a baby and was attached to her but she needed to return to her home and family.frёeωebɳovel.com
