"What’s is this?" Yang Meiyi asked as Wu Ling gave her an invitation card.

"It’s a party for tonight and all freshmen are invited." Wu Ling replied in excitement.

Yang Meiyi looked at Wu Ling excitement and smiled, it turned out that Wu Ling wasn’t actually a bad person. The young girl just felt pressured in doing Hou Fang biddings so that Hou Fang could push in a good word to her father for her family company so as a result of that Meiyi agreed to give the girl a chance and so far it has been great.

"Our exams are coming up soon, I don’t think going to a party at this moment is a good idea." Ma Xin said.

"But studying has been all we have been doing, while don’t we unwind a little, party a little and we can all give your new car a ride. Besides the seniors prepared this event for us, it would be wrong to turn them down." Wu Ling said with pouted lips.

Yang Meiyi shrugged and said "I see no harm in it, besides I have been staring at this book for the past twenty minutes and nothing has actually entered my head."

"Yes!" Wu Ling exclaimed in excitement while Ma Xin sighed and said "Fine, let’s go."

Before entering the world of a novel, Yang Meiyi life has always revolve around either reading of novels or book. She never did much clubbing in her university days but now was different, she has Fu Mingze, parents who loves her, a car and most of all, she is actually studying something she love. She can’t wait to become the best designer in Country M, she may not be the best when it comes to studying but deep within her, she had already promise herself that she will work very hard so that she may be worthy to stand beside him.

As Yang Meiyi, Wu Ling and Ma Xin entered the club, a girl who recognize Wu Ling immediately dragged them to a room that has already been reserved by the seniors.

Yang Meiyi sat beside Ma Xin and Wu Ling as they both watched a girl singing a song called ’if love was true.’

As the girl continue to sing, Meiyi felt as if her ear bud was about to burst. Thankfully, a girl collected the mic from her and asked who else wanted to sing, Wu Ling immediately lift her hand and walked forward to take the mic.

Yang Meiyi saw Ma Xin continuously checking her phone and asked "Is everything alright?"

"My mom just texted me that my grandma isn’t feeling well, I have to go."

Yang Meiyi nodded and watched as Ma Xin left, she smiled when she face Wu Ling who was singing and cheer her on. Her smiled faltered a little when a guy sat in the same spot Wu Ling was seated on not too long ago. She looked at the guy who had glasses on and said "My friend is already sitting here."

The guy with glasses ignored her words and said "My name is Hanmi, in my third year and I’m sure your friend wouldn’t mind."

"Yang Meiyi, first year and I do mind."

The guy smiled at her and asked "Do you have a boyfriend?"

"That’s none of your business." Yang Meiyi replied.

"Ok guys! It’s time to play truth or dare, if you refused to answer you drink and if you chose not to play the game you also drink." A guy with a boyish smile said as he explained the rules of the game.

After everyone has taken their seat, the game began, those who couldn’t do the dare drank a whole glass of alcohol and Yang Meiyi felt a sense of deja Vu when it reached her turn again, she has been picking truth and now it was time for her to picked dare. She look at the mischievous smile in the Hanmi eyes when he asked her truth or dare.

"Truth." Yang Meiyi said trying her luck.

Hanmi shook his head and said "You have already spoken two truths, it’s time for you to pick a dare."

"Fine, dare." Yang Meiyi said, after all the worst that can happen is them making her to drink a full glass of beer.

"I dare you to sit on my lap and give me a kiss." Hanmi said with a confident smile.

Yang Meiyi frowned and stood up, she collected an empty glass on the table, she filled the glass to the brim with beer and drank it all.

Hanmi chuckled and said "You just have to ruin the fun."

"I think it’s time for me to go." Yang Meiyi said as she began to fill dizzy, if there was one thing she wasn’t good at is holding her liquor and though she drank just a glass, she felt as if she was already drunk.

Wu Ling looked at Yang Meiyi with a smile and said "I don’t want to leave yet, let’s stay for a little while."

Yang Meiyi shook her head and said "I can’t, I have to go. I will just see you at the dorm."

After Yang Meiyi left, Wu Ling gave a signal to Hanmi and smiled when he stood up and follow after Meiyi.

Yang Meiyi sighed in relief when she felt the cold air touched her skin. After today she has decided that drinking and partying just wasn’t for her. She collected her car key from her pocket comtemplated if she should drive or not.

"You want me to give you a ride home? I also came with my car."

Yang Meiyi groan in frustration when she heard that familiar annoying voice and turned to Hanmi saying "Don’t worry, I’m not too drunk to drive."

Hanmi smiled when he saw her struggling to walk, he was about to hold her when a hand stop him and asked "Don’t you understand when a woman says no?"

Yang Meiyi turned and was surprised to see Zhang Chun glaring at Hanmi while holding his hand tightly. What was he doing here?

Hanmi looked at Zhang Chun angrily and said "Why don’t you mind your own business." 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

"I would if she wasn’t looking as if she is about to puke her gut out at the sight of you." Zhang Chun replied with a smile as he glanced at Yang Meiyi. "Stay away from her unless you don’t mind getting your hand broken."

Hanmi suddenly screamed when Zhang Chun bend his hand backward.

Zhang Chun smiled in delight at Hanmi screamed and asked "Do you understand?"

"Yes, I get it." Hanmi shouted. He sighed in relief when Zhang Chun let go of him and said "You are crazy, she isn’t even worth it."

"Just get lost." Zhang Chun said as he waved him away.

After Hanmi left, Zhang Chun looked at the girl who has just being staring at him quietly and asked "Don’t tell me that you are suddenly in love with me?"

Yang Meiyi scoffed and said "You wish."

Zhang Chun smiled and asked "What are you doing here anyway? Were you sent to school to become an alcoholic?"

"Were you sent to school to babysit me?"

"Then should I go back to call that jerk, perhaps you prefer his company. And were you really thinking of driving back to your dorm in that state, are you really that desperate to die?" Zhang Chun asked in a frown.

Yang Meiyi shrugged and bought out her car keys from her pocket, she walked closer to Zhang Chun and handed him the keys as she said "Since you are so desperate to look after me and ensure that I stay alive, why don’t you drive me back?"

"Do I look like your driver? Call a cab if you can’t drive."

"Or I can just call aunty Zhang, I wonder what she would say if she finds out that her son left a drunk girl alone at night." Yang Meiyi replied with a smirk.

Zhang Chun clenched the car key in his hand and let out a force smile as he asked "Where is your car?"

Yang Meiyi smiled in victory and directed him to where she had parked her car.

Wu Ling who have been watching the whole scene in a corner, place a hand on her racing heart as she wondered who the guy Yang Meiyi was talking to. She has never believed in love at first sight but for some reason she felt like she just fell in love with a guy whose name she didn’t even know. With the way he was talking to Yang Meiyi, she wondered if something was going on between them but it doesn’t really matter after all she heard from Ma Xin that Yang Meiyi has a secret boyfriend so she was sure that Meiyi wouldn’t mind her pursuing that guy. All she have to do is find out who he is and ensure he falls for her.
