Just then the door to the ward opens, showing a slightly disheveled Fu Mingze.

Yang Meiyi smiled when she said Fu Mingze and said "If I knew you were going to be this worried then I wouldn’t have called you."

Ignoring his wife’s statement, he looked at the nurse and asked "Is she alright?"

The nurse nodded and said "With the drip that she has just finished she will be fine. Plus, I have taken her blood sample for more tests."

Fu Mingze sighed in relief and said "Thank you."

The nurse smiled and left the room, leaving both of them alone.

"Are you feeling better?" Fu Mingze asked as he sat on the bed, holding her hands.

Yang Meiyi shook her head and said "I think I will only feel completely better after getting a kiss."

Fu Mingze smiled softly and leaned forward to kiss her. The kiss only lasted for a few seconds before he pulled away and asked "Better?"

Yang Meiyi returned his smile as she replied "Better."
