Transmigration:The Villain Wants A Happy End Without His BeastHusbands-Chapter 125: Did Your Arm Grow Back?
Back in the main hall of the Phoenix clan manor, Madam Qin Lihua stood among the guests, laughing softly with another beastwoman.
A guard approached and leaned in, whispering into her ear.
The smile on her face froze.
For a split second, it vanished completely. Before she smoothly put it back in place.
"I will see you later, Madam Jin," she said with practiced grace, already stepping aside with the guard.
The moment they were out of earshot, her expression hardened.
"What do you mean Yan Wuhen beat up Mingze?" she asked sharply.
The guard lowered his head. "Madam, the young master was found injured—"
Her gaze shifted past him.
Across the hall, Lan Shiyu stood surrounded by guests, their voices sweet as they tried to win his favor. Further off, seated lazily at a table filled with untouched dishes and wine, was Yan Wuhen.
His nine tails swayed slowly behind him.
He looked completely at ease.
As if sensing her gaze, he lifted his eyes and met hers.
Madam Qin’s glare sharpened.
Yan Wuhen tilted his head slightly... and smiled. Slow. Amused. Unbothered.
Then he looked away.
Madam Qin’s fingers curled at her sides.
"Let’s get this over with," she said coldly. "Have the servants bring in Nianci. And Su Hengyue and Su Qiyuan, have they arrived?"
"No, Madam. There has been no sign of them."
She exhaled, irritation flashing across her face. "Fine. Go and get Nianci."
She turned back toward the guests, her smile already back in place.

The guard hurried toward the inner chambers.
As he approached, he found four female servants huddled together, their faces pale, voices hushed and frantic.
"What are we going to do?"
"We’ve searched everywhere. She’s not here!"
The guard stepped forward sharply, startling them. "Don’t tell me you’re talking about Su Nianci."
The servants froze.
Their silence said everything.
The guard’s expression darkened. "...You can’t find her?"
No one answered.
He sucked in a breath, frustration flashing across his face, before turning and storming away.
As the guard stepped out of the corridor, he nearly collided into someone.
He stumbled back immediately, a powerful presence crashing into him like a wave. His head dropped at once.
"I—I apologize. I wasn’t looking where I was—"
He lifted his head and froze.
Emerald serpent eyes stared back at him from behind thin glasses. The face was calm. Completely impassive.
"Prince... Lan Meishan," the guard breathed, stunned.
Lan Meishan didn’t acknowledge him.
He walked past without a word and entered the main hall.
The effect was instant. The noise dissolved.
Voices died mid-sentence as every beast in the hall turned toward him, surprise written across their faces, all except Yan Wuhen.
Wuhen’s eyes narrowed the moment he saw him.
If Lan Meishan was here... then Ningyan was close.
Very close.
Across the hall, Lan Shiyu’s expression shifted from shock to something much darker. Hostility bleeding into his aura.
"What a pleasant surprise, brother," he said, rising to his feet as he approached.
Lan Meishan stopped.
He looked at him quietly, gaze drifting to the arm hidden beneath the cloak.
"Did your arm grow back?" he asked.
Lan Shiyu’s jaw tightened. "What?"
Meishan blinked once. "I’m simply curious."
Then, without waiting for a response, he walked past him.
Lan Shiyu’s expression darkened further.
Lan Meishan’s gaze moved across the hall slowly until it landed on Madam Qin Lihua.
Surprise flickered in her eyes.
He gave her the faintest smile.
"I’m here to celebrate with you, Madam Qin Lihua."
No one believed him.
But that wasn’t the point.
He wasn’t here to celebrate. He was here to disrupt. To confuse. To unsettle.
And judging by the silence gripping the hall, he was doing it perfectly.

Meanwhile, in the vast garden of blooming flowers and towering trees within the manor grounds, Ningyan moved carefully.
He couldn’t be more grateful to whoever had given him the illusion mask.
Still in his wolf-beastman form, he kept low and then he saw her.
A beautiful young woman with long black hair, adorned with delicate gold ornaments, stood among the flowers. Her fiery red serpent eyes gleamed under the sunlight, her golden-red robes flowing elegantly around her.
She crouched slightly, examining a flower with a soft smile, lips pursed in quiet thought.
Su Nianci.
Ningyan immediately slipped behind the nearest tree, pressing his back against the rough bark as he let out a slow, silent breath.
He hadn’t expected to find her this quickly.
"Mother must be looking for me," she said suddenly, rising to her feet and brushing her hands lightly over her robes. "I don’t even know if today is truly my name day... or just another excuse for her to boast and display her power."
She huffed softly. "Well, good for her. I only want to see Yan Wuhen."
Ningyan’s lips twitched.
She liked Yan Wuhen?
Was she the one who invited him?
Why would Yan Wuhen come to her name day in the first place? Did he know her? Did he want to know her?
...Why did that bother him?
It shouldn’t.
It really shouldn’t.
"Who are you?"
The voice came suddenly. Much closer.
Ningyan startled, turning sharply and froze.
Su Nianci was right in front of him now, staring up at him with open curiosity. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮
When did she get so close?
He pushed himself off the tree immediately, forcing composure into his posture. "I’m one of the guests for your name day," he said smoothly. "I got lost while looking for the bathing chamber."
Su Nianci tilted her head, studying him. "What is your name?"
Ningyan chuckled softly, clasping his hands behind his back as he stepped closer, towering over her. "I don’t think I need to tell you that."
Su Nianci crossed her arms over her chest immediately. "Why?" she shot back. "Because you’re here to lick my mother’s feet? Is that shameful?"
Ningyan almost choked.
He really did not want to have this conversation but judging by the way disgust flickered across Nianci’s face, he wasn’t surprised.
Madam Qin’s children probably hated her.
"I’m not here for her," Ningyan said calmly. "I’m here for you. For your name day."
Su Nianci blinked, clearly caught off guard.
For a moment, she actually looked like she believed him.
Good.
Because he wasn’t here to talk. He was here to knock her out.
And she was a lady. He needed to be careful. Gentle, if possible... even if she was just as unpleasant as her mother.
"Nianci!" A voice suddenly rang out in the distance.
"Where are you, Nianci?!" Another voice called out from afar.
"Hengyue? Qiyuan?" she murmured, turning toward the sound, confusion flashing across her face before it lit up with sudden excitement. "Brother! I’m over—"
Ningyan moved instantly. His palm slammed against her back.
A burst of ominous purple energy flared at the point of impact.
Su Nianci stiffened. Then went completely limp, her eyes closing as she collapsed.
Ningyan caught her before she hit the ground.
"Sorry," he muttered under his breath without any real guilt, grinning behind his mask.
