Trapped In A Novel As The Breeding Mate For Four Powerful Alphas-Chapter 185: You said it’s okay now?
Chapter 185: You said it’s okay now?
"You threw me away just for a few pennies." I said. "I hope you enjoyed those pennies while you had them because I’m going to make sure you never spend another penny in your life. Call me cruel, but I’m human, too, and since you hit me first, expect me to hit harder. You piece of scum!"
I watched Min-Cheol returning with what I asked of him and as he got closer, Mu-Kyung said,
"Are you breathing me?" He asked. "It’s not like I actually gave you to anyone. If you had hidden well, it would’ve been fine." He said and my eyes squinted in disdain.
"What did you just say?"
"Well, at least you ended up alright." He added, his eyes lighting in anticipation for something good.
Whatever it was that he was expecting, he definitely wouldn’t see it because he had pushed me to my limit, and I had my hands clenched to the extent that I was lost in digging my perfect nails into my palms.
"It doesn’t matter what you went through, right?" He had this disgusting smile on his lips as he stared at me, hopefully, but that word hit me heavily. "You might’ve passed through a few things, but I still had my share of worries. Do you think a billion won amounts to anything in this age once you start using it?"
This bastard... What the hell did he think he was talking about?
My body shook in rage.
"You might’ve suffered a little, and I suffered too, so it’s a win-win. Let’s not think of the past anymore. You’re doing quite well now while I’m still living such a pathetic life." He tried to raise his body, thinking something would come from making light of my misfortune all these years. "You’re treasured by the four powerful Alphas and you’re swimming in money. So, don’t be selfish and help your brother, ok--?"
I couldn’t listen to any more of what he had to say and rushed towards him, snatching the metal baseball bat I had asked Min-Cheol to get for me and swung it heavily, smashing his head first.
He didn’t expect that. No one did as they all stared at me, shocked, but who could stop me?
After hearing what that bastard had to say and knowing exactly what I went through, even if it was just the misfortune of this life, I had no idea of what I faced in my past life in their hands.
"You said it’s okay now?" I swing the bat again, aiming for his back. "You said I’m living well now, so we should put the past behind us? How can you be so disgustingly shameless? How can you be such a bastard?!"
I did not relent in swinging the bat and hit him with all I had, working the muscles I hadn’t used in a long time and straining my back that was still in the healing stage but I didn’t care.
I only cared about hitting this man and venting out.
"You suffered? Bullshit! You put that on yourself!" I yelled at him. "You put me through hell and you dare to say you suffered? Where are the pennies you got from selling me into hell? Where are they? Why do you look so pathetic now?"
I was so angry that my rage burned through every cell and core of my body, rushing through my blood and ending up at my fingertips while I groped the handle of the bag with both hands.
Mu-Kyung yelled, asking me to stop but how could I?
Would he have stopped if I begged him not to take those loans in my name? Did he even consider what I could go through?
This... This was so shitty?!
"Why did you do that to me?! Why did you stab me in the back?!! Why did you put me into hell, Mu-Kyung?!" I asked repeatedly as I kept hitting his stiffened and messed up body.
No matter how many times I hit him, I didn’t feel any better. I didn’t feel okay. The memories were still there. The pain, the torture, the torment, none of it would go away.
They were stamped on me like a tattoo.
It was too painful. It was too much.
I hit my lips hard, my heart and body breaking in pain and rage. I was too weak for this but to help with this weak body.
"Why?!" My arm suddenly got stuck in the air as I attempted to swing the bat one more time, my body shaking and my eyes tearing up even more.
I clenched the handle of the bat even more. My palms had become bloody, but I couldn’t even feel any pain because all the blood was rushing toward my fingertips, and I focused on my goal to hit Mu-Kyung as much as I wanted.
I slowly turned my head, my teary eyes gazing upon Ki-hoon who had grabbed the bloody edge of the bat.
"Why are you stopping me?" I asked.
"That’s enough, Jo-Pil." He said and my lips quivered.
"Are you taking his side?" I asked, my tears rolling down.
"No, never." He answered. "But you’re hurting yourself." He said but I didn’t care.
If I hurt myself over and over for the sake of getting my revenge and inflicting as much pain as I could on this man, just as much as the pain I passed through as well, then I would continue.
"Master Sun," I called, and Seo-Jun who was simply spectating, stepped forward. "You said you’d do anything for me, right?" I asked and without waiting for his response, I said, "Please do me a favor and block Hyung for me."
My request shocked Ki-hoon, but Seo-Jun looked like he had been waiting for that kind of demand for a while, so he took action right away while Ki-hoon was still shocked.
He grabbed Ki-hoon’s arms, freeing the bat, and pushed him back.
"Jo-Pil, stop this." Ki-hoon yelled but I only had my revenge in sight at this point.
