Chapter 498: Chapter 18: Master of Sakura Island (Part 2)

In front of the shrine.

Upon hearing the words of the rabbit spirit, Qing Ji’s face slightly changed, and then she turned to Su Ziyu, filled with apologies, and said, "My dear husband."

"Let him take you into the Peach Blossom Secret Realm first."

"I must find the Six Ji first; if they are drunk, they might do something terrible."

Su Ziyu replied softly, "Do you need my help?"

"Why not go together?"

Qing Ji pondered briefly, then nodded, "That’s fine."

"But, my dear husband, please don’t intervene; let me handle it later."

Intervene?

Are we going to fight?

Outside Sakura Island is a sea, just a few kilometers from Kagoshima, and the two of them flew over swiftly.

By now, night has fallen.

Qing Ji landed directly in front of a building that seemed to be a hot spring hotel. Kagoshima, due to its volcanic nature, is rich in hot spring resources.

"Princess Bai Ji."

A woman in a light green kimono waited at the hotel entrance, with a faint demonic aura, but her transformation skills were high, and ordinary Yin Yang Masters probably wouldn’t notice.

"Yingzi." Qing Ji nodded slightly in greeting and then solemnly asked, "Where have they gone?"

"Still searching." The young and beautiful woman in kimono whispered.

She curiously glanced at Su Ziyu next to Qing Ji, her expression somewhat surprised, as if she had guessed his identity.

"This area is part of the businesses I’ve set up over the past few decades." Qing Ji turned and looked at Su Ziyu, pointing towards a street near the hotel, and gently said, "Mainly for convenient activities in the Mortal World."

"My dear husband."

"Please follow me."

Qing Ji led Su Ziyu into the hotel ahead; the interior was quite simple, characteristic of a proper vacation hotel. Most staff were ordinary people, but some demons were working there, mostly ordinary demons with no significant power or malicious intent.

"How many demons are there in Fusang now?" Su Ziyu curiously asked, looking at a rabbit spirit-servant.

"There are currently over fifty thousand registered in the Ghost Capital." Qing Ji recalled slightly and softly said, "In reality, the number might exceed that."

So many demons?

No wonder I met a frog spirit just wandering around in Tokyo.

"Actually, more than eighty percent of demons live in various secret realms and gaps, only a few are active outside." Qing Ji smiled and explained, "The demons that can come out to act are those with sufficient cultivation to transform into human form."

Gah.

In the midst of their conversation, a peculiar sound came from the balcony, followed by a long-nosed man wearing a crow mask landing and kneeling on one knee before Qing Ji, saying, "Princess Bai Ji."

"We’ve found the Demon Sword Ji and her group."

Qing Ji’s expression turned serious upon hearing this, "Where?"

The long-nosed man hesitated briefly and whispered, "At a nightclub."

Qing Ji’s face immediately turned cold, her phoenix eyes slightly narrowed, emitting a faint killing intent as she slowly said, "Lead the way."

Not good.

Six Ji’s dog head is going to suffer.

Su Ziyu sighed inwardly; he was somewhat familiar with Qing Ji’s temper, knowing that the calmer she seemed, the more terrifying her outburst would be.

The long-nosed man should be a Tengu.

A pair of black wings appeared behind him; he flew ahead to guide, while Qing Ji and Su Ziyu followed, flying in the air.

A few minutes later.

A somewhat noisy nightclub appeared before them.

As a sightseeing city, Kagoshima naturally has many entertainment venues, and this one seemed decent, though Su Ziyu disliked the chaotic noise.

"Princess Bai Ji."

As Qing Ji landed, some men in black suits, wearing ties and sunglasses, started to emerge. They emitted not a demon aura but an eerie spiritual aura. A bald, strong man in a black suit approached, respectfully saying, "I heard the Demon Sword Ji is causing trouble again."

"There are many mortals here."

"Please show mercy, Princess Bai Ji."

These men in black suits seemed not to be Qing Ji’s subordinates, though respectful, they spoke firmly.

"Who are they?" Su Ziyu asked curiously through a voice transmission.

"Lower-ranking Night Patrol." Qing Ji quickly replied using Divine Thought, "Mostly Yin Yang Masters serve as the underworld officials, but over the past few centuries, their numbers have greatly decreased."

"The Netherworld recruited some souls as half-ghost Night Patrols."

"They have branches in every city."

The Fusang Netherworld seems well-adapted to the new era.

Su Ziyu scrutinized these Night Patrols, feeling they resembled secular public servants, efficient in their work. They arrived right after Qing Ji and him. Some black suits had badges, apparently the beginning numbers of the Celestial Stems and Earthly Branches, sweeping his gaze showed dozens of Night Patrols, with others hidden in the shadows.

This doesn’t seem like a simple drinking outing, otherwise, there wouldn’t be such a big scene.

Was the Demon Sword Ji here to stir trouble?

"Clear the area." Qing Ji frowned slightly, glanced inside, and slowly said.

"Understood." The men in black suits quickly turned away, soon afterward, mortals started walking out with somewhat dazed expressions, leaving on their own.

In an instant.

The nightclub was completely empty.

When Su Ziyu and Qing Ji walked inside, they could only see two figures at the bar. One was already quite tipsy, clutching a bottle and drinking, surrounded by an array of empty bottles, appearing slightly youthful, like a high school student of sixteen or seventeen, with a face bearing a resemblance of seven to eight points to Qing Ji.

This should be the Six Ji of Inada.

Beside her sat a playful, alluring woman, tall and curvaceous, wearing a black off-the-shoulder gown with black stockings, deep purple stilettos, and pale fingers holding a wine glass, with a bizarre black tachi next to her.

"Princess Bai Ji."

The woman turned, scrutinizing Qing Ji and Su Ziyu, smilingly greeted, "Long time no see!"

"Who is this?"

"It wouldn’t be the man you’ve waited over a thousand years for, would it?"

Qing Ji’s expression turned frosty as she looked at her opponent. Raising her hand, a white paper umbrella appeared, a faint deep blue flame surrounded her, as she solemnly said, "Demon Sword Ji."

"Your wounds healed so quickly?"

Hehe.

A burst of coquettish laughter echoed, the woman in the black dress stood up, her tall figure fully displayed, as she reached out a slender hand to grasp the black-sheathed tachi beside her, slowly, "Of course."

"I can’t wait to battle Princess Bai Ji one more time!..."

Gulp.

At that moment, the drunken Six Ji raised her head, glanced at Qing Ji, then at the woman next to her, clapping her hands and cheerfully said, "Big sister has returned!"

"Come! Let’s drink together!..."

"This wine tastes so good!... Oops!... Feeling a bit dizzy!..."

Inada Six Ji spoke slurredly, suddenly hiccuped, followed by a stream of azure flames spewing from her mouth, setting the bar before her ablaze in the blink of an eye.
