Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer-Chapter 715 - 321: Dream Realm Stage 5_2
They had no qualms about temporarily acting as pirates. As it happened, that place occupied half of the Sea of Moisture, and most people could easily wander into that area. Accidentally entering that region meant one was in for serious trouble. Due to the Sea of Moisture’s unique nature, no official forces organized teams to clear out the area. Consequently, for millennia, that place had been in utter chaos, practically becoming a sanctuary for outlaws from several surrounding Landmark Islands. It was a generational gathering, after all.
After chatting with Jason about some not-so-secret information, Juanlu had dinner ready. After everyone ate, they each went to rest.
Alka lay on his petal bed but didn’t immediately fall into his own Dream Realm. Instead, he used a dream clone to enter the Dream World of the area he was currently in, intending to observe the local Dream World. Typically, whenever he arrived in an unfamiliar area, he would enter its Dream World to observe, even if his Dream Bubbles no longer appeared there. This necessary understanding would aid him if an unexpected situation arose requiring a fight.
Upon entering this Dream World, his vision was almost entirely filled with bubbles of various sizes. This was quite normal; the scale of bubbles on Gemini Island was even more immense. This was the typical scene presented by the Dream World of a populated settlement—the more people there were, the more pronounced the scene became. Misty figures and light-and-shadow entities permeated the surroundings.
Strange. I haven’t seen any of the most common shadow creatures. Those aggressive dream entities should definitely be here.
A large number of misty figures gathered here, contributing to the relative stability of this area in the Real World. Although the Sea of Moisture shifted, and the islands with it, these misty figures generally moved in tandem with the area containing the Dream Bubbles.
"SNIFF... SNIFF."
Alka twitched his nose.
Why is there a floral scent even in the Dream World?
He flew up slightly, rising a bit higher than the stacked Dream Bubbles. As soon as he ascended, Alka saw it.
A gigantic flower existed within the Dream World. The massive flower within the dream was identical to those on the island outside. However, unlike its real-world counterpart, the dream flower had already bloomed.
A beautiful girl with pink-and-white hair lay nestled in the flower’s pistil. Her exquisitely curved and graceful figure seemed to embody all worldly beauty, and the floral fragrance drifting from her was intoxicating. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
Alka immediately covered his nose and vanished from the spot. He withdrew his dream clone.
With his disappearance, the beautiful girl in the flower’s pistil opened her eyes. She glanced at the spot where Alka had vanished, then closed her eyes again, drifting back to sleep. This small interlude didn’t seem to warrant much concern from her.
In the Real World, Alka’s eyes snapped open, and he panted heavily.
"Damn it, I saw something I shouldn’t have. Could that girl and that enormous flower be..."
Alka immediately cut off his mumbling, forcefully clearing the thoughts from his mind. He compelled himself not to dwell on it, using his mental fortitude to block any stray thoughts leaning in that direction.
After calming his emotions, he pretended nothing had happened and went to sleep again.
This time, he properly woke up from his own Dream Bubble, appearing in his Dream Realm. As soon as he entered, he received a message from Huan.
Leaving his Dream Bubble, he saw that the construction of the Dream Palace was still ongoing.
As he appeared in the Palace, the Shadow Robe flew over.
"You were looking for me?" Alka asked.
"Yes, I might have found a feasible solution," the Shadow Robe replied.
Hearing this, Alka immediately perked up. "Let’s hear it."
The Shadow Robe nodded. "Pardon my boldness, but could I take a look at your mirror-like mask?"
Alka nodded and extended his right hand; the Mirror Surface materialized in his palm.
Gazing at the mask formed from the mirror, the Shadow Robe observed it closely from all angles. Then, as if confirming something, it nodded. "It should work."
It then asked, "Can you currently withstand the schism from another increase in power?"
Alka’s power was currently maintained at the Fourth Stage, Perfection level. Thanks to the Shadow Robe, his ritual was very stable. With its assistance, Alka could use minimal Energy, reducing his power just a little each time. Without suffering any harm, he slowly diminished his power, ensuring it remained at the Fourth Stage, Perfection level, and did not advance further. The Shadow Robe’s words, therefore, were clearly asking if he could endure the schism that would result from his power reaching the Fifth Stage.
Alka nodded. In the Real World, his current power was at the Third Stage, specifically the 22nd Spiral.
I should be able to withstand it.
Although it’s not a 100% guarantee, 95% certainty is still achievable. Nothing can ever be 100% assured.
Hearing this, the Shadow Robe nodded again and then revealed its idea to Alka.
"After my probing, your Mirror space has become firmly bound to the Dream World, effectively becoming a part of it. So, why not place the entire Palace into the Mirror space?"
Alka replied, "Because my current power doesn’t allow me to expand the Mirror space to such a vast size. Besides, once it’s bound to the Dream World, it can no longer be moved."
