Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer-Chapter 782 - 343 Exploring Orange_3
Already struggling to move underwater, Alka found it difficult to defend himself.
The Crystal Shield on his left arm spread open, blocking the monster rushing head-on towards him.
These monsters collided directly with the Crystal Shield, unable to penetrate it.
However, several others kept phasing through Alka's body from the sides and behind, drawing out his body heat.
DING!
A crisp ringing sound echoed.
The eight soul monsters, which had been wildly swimming and piercing about, suddenly froze in place as if immobilized.
Alka, chilled to the bone, gasped twice for breath.
Although the enemy's attacks hadn't damaged his soul, the sinister, cold aura they left within him still had an adverse effect.
The Flower Fairy's blessing on his forehead continued to emit a faint glow.
Ahead, a corpse was bound to the end of a hanging vine.
The corpse was not decomposed. It was clad in Armor, its surface covered with soil and sediment from the sea.
The Armor, however, was riddled with cracks and debris.
The Armor seemed to come alive, beginning to vibrate.
The dust vanished, revealing the patterns on the Armor.
It was embroidered densely with floral designs, with the Celestial Flower at the center.
The corpse's eyes remained closed. Alka looked closely. A Broken Spear pierced straight through her body.
The spear was heavily rusted and entangled with numerous weeds.
A faintly glowing, pale pink Spiritual Body emerged from the corpse.
This Spiritual Body was incomplete and more transparent compared to a normal soul.
She came before Alka.
Seeing the blessing on Alka's forehead, her eyes closed, her face filled with hope and relief.
"My God... is still alive, right?"
The language she used was the same one Lucilia had spoken earlier, identical to the dialect of the Fragrant Land. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
Alka nodded. "The Flower Fairy is still alive and is even about to be revived."
"Is that so? That's good! That's good!"
Her voice was weak, but it distinctly carried her excitement.
"Your soul's defense seems strong. Go quickly! Don't try to defeat these hateful spirits; I will help suppress them.
Resist their attacks, then pull the Broken Spear from my body. Carry my corpse and leave this area; they will naturally break apart and vanish.
This area has been altered. Here, they will never die; they will forever hate everything."
She quickly explained the situation to Alka.
Alka nodded and immediately swam towards the corpse.
As Alka moved, the Evil Spirits also began to struggle, trying to break free from the Spiritual Body's suppression.
However, their speed was considerably slower than their previous lightning-like swiftness.
Large amounts of pink mist and Mirrors spread around the area.
Alka looked towards the corpse. A life-sized Mirror appeared above him, then rotated to envelop him.
Once enveloped, Alka instantly vanished from the spot.
The Evil Spirits darted madly about, able to sense Alka's location but unable to affect him in any way.
In the Mirror World, Alka could sense subtle movements around him.
A smile touched his lips.
To think I could use it this way.
Although his fabricated Mirror World didn't cover a large area, he had been close to the corpse in the outside world, so its boundary was precisely at the corpse's location.
However, Alka had only enveloped himself, flipping into the world within the Mirror.
All that remained outside was a temporary Mirror constructed from the surrounding seawater.
The vengeful spirits, like madmen, furiously attacked the real-world position corresponding to Alka's location in the Mirror World, but to no avail.
The hovering Spiritual Body released its suppression on the Evil Spirits.
She looked at the twisted Mirror Surface beside her.
Mirror Master? No, that damned guy should've been dead long ago. Why does this thing appear on a mortal? And with My God's blessing, what on earth happened outside?
She was puzzled but knew that something significant must have changed in the outside world for such a situation to occur.
Nevertheless, she smiled at this application of power; it was proving very effective in the current circumstances.
In the Mirror World, Alka swam to the real-world location of the corpse.
Taking a deep breath, the Mirror World flipped again.
He appeared directly next to the corpse.
The surrounding Evil Spirits immediately began to attack wildly.
Seizing the opportunity, the Spiritual Body once again exerted her powerful suppression. Her own soul began to flicker, growing extremely unstable.
But the eight Evil Spirits were, for that instant, immobilized.
Without a word, Alka acted immediately. He swiftly grasped the Broken Spear and pulled it from the corpse.
When the spear was extracted, it pulled out some fragments of flesh, but there was no longer any blood.
Clutching the corpse, Alka flipped the Mirror Surface once more.
The Spiritual Body vanished instantly. The surrounding Evil Spirits shrieked madly, darting about in a frenzy.
However, their attacks were completely ineffective.
They only needed to break the Mirror left outside to force Alka out.
But clearly, in their frenzy, they were incapable of such thought.
Within the Mirror World, Alka began to swim upwards.
He soon touched the 'air wall' at the boundary. Checking the distance, he realized he hadn't left the affected area yet.
He considered the effects of the Evil Spirits' recent attacks. If his soul were to endure such an assault again, although it wouldn't be directly injured, the penetrating Coldness would slow his movements, eventually leading to him being trapped and overcome here.
After a moment's thought, he enveloped himself in golden-silver Energy.
In an instant, he reversed the Mirror, appearing outside.
The eight Evil Spirits immediately converged on Alka, furiously assaulting his soul.
The penetrating Coldness sapped his body heat and his stamina.
The pink mist around him suddenly exploded outwards.
This blast pushed the Evil Spirit monsters far back, giving Alka the chance to throw the corpse out of the water.
"Pororo! Catch it!"
The corpse's legs had just pierced the black membrane when it was suddenly yanked upwards and disappeared from sight.
This dark region began to shake violently.
The screams of the Evil Spirits seemed to penetrate deep into his soul.
These hateful Evil Spirits began to wander aimlessly through the area, no longer targeting Alka.
