Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer-Chapter 789 - 346 The Dawn That Came Alive
Alka looked at the seed emitting a faint glow in his hand.
Chadite and the others gathered around. They could feel the power emanating from the seed, which was very similar to Divine Essence.
"Is this the reward given by the Flower Fairy?"
"Yes, that's it."
"Divine Essence?" Simon asked.
It looked remarkably similar; this was everyone's immediate thought.
Alka shook his head. "A similar existence. As for precisely what it is, I don't know how to answer."
Ultimately, their existing knowledge shaped their perspective.
"But at least I know how to use it," Alka said with a smile, as Magic Power enveloped the center of the flowerbeds.
A small pit was dug at the bottom of the flowerbed, and Alka gently placed the seed inside. He then covered it back up with soil.
Everyone watched the spot, but nothing happened.
"Is that all?" Jason asked, puzzled.
Alka smiled slightly. "Don't rush, the real part hasn't started yet."
As his words fell, the Dream Catcher's Crystal Ball and Mirror's Mask floated out from Alka's body, hovering beside him.
The two Treasures emitted different forms of Magic Power: one a powdery mist, the other a translucent, dazzling beam. Both flowed toward the soil holding the seed.
Feeling the Magic Power being absorbed by the seed, Alka looked at the others and said, "You can also try infusing the Energy of your Treasures into it. You might gain unexpected returns, since it's all just a type of Magic Power."
Upon hearing this, everyone began to act. Even Juanlu from the kitchen ran over.
A bloody glow, sunlight-like rays, cold winds and snow, intertwining spirals of orange and green, a haunting green beam, orange Energy, and a blue beam of Magic Power appeared.
All the Energies from everyone's Treasures gathered here. Then, everyone turned to look at Jason, who hadn't contributed anything.
"Why are you looking at me? I don't have a Treasure," Jason said helplessly.
His power wasn't from a Treasure; he had merely signed a pact with a powerful being.
They were now almost certain that the Crystal Dragon was a living Divine Creature from ancient times.
A dazzling burst of rainbow Energy flew in from afar, emanating from the Crystal Dragon on the rear deck.
Jason had no choice but to use his brilliant Energy, guiding it toward the spot.
"Hopefully, this works."
The various Energies converged in the soil where the seed was buried, and the potent combined Energy began to transform the earth itself.
Luckily, the amount of Magic Power they were channeling wasn't substantial; each person barely needed to expend much to maintain their contribution.
"How long do you have to keep channeling like this?" Simon asked.
But just as he asked, Julia said, "Quiet for a moment, there's movement."
Everyone instantly turned to look.
A tender green sprout emerged from the soil, pushing aside the dirt covering it as it began to thrive. Swaying, it grew wildly before their very eyes.
As the sprout grew, Alka shouted, "Sound of Dawn! Integrate! Become part of it! This will be your rebirth!"
Upon hearing Alka's words, a melodious song filled the air.
The branches grew.
The CRUNCH of the lower deck being pierced reached their ears, followed by various collision sounds echoing throughout the ship. The continuous CRACKING and SNAPPING resounded.
However, no one appeared overly panicked, as they generally understood why these problems were occurring below.
As previously mentioned, the flowerbed and the Treasure Vault below were connected as a single cylindrical structure embedded in the center of the ship—the very core of the vessel. The violin core of the Sound of Dawn was also stored here, and Alka and the others had even set numerous protective Spells to guard it. This was the most secure and sturdy area of the entire ship.
Now, the roots of the tree planted above were spreading downward, wrapping around this cylindrical structure. Down in the Treasure Vault, the roots probed inward. Then, the spreading roots completely enveloped the floating violin core, fusing it with themselves.
Above, in the flowerbed, the surrounding flowers were being squeezed and pushed to the edges.
The rapidly growing sprout had now developed branches. A tree trunk, already as thick as a human head, was vigorously shooting upward.
Though the Sound of Dawn was a large three-dimensional schooner, the continued upward growth of this tree's trunk could potentially impact the operation of the sails.
"Sound of Dawn! Control your growth!" Alka yelled.
Hearing Alka's shout, the Sound of Dawn, already integrated into its new body, began to control its growth. However, this caused the entire tree's growth to become somewhat twisted.
Clearly, he hadn't fully adapted to the transformation from ship to tree.
Seeing this, Julia immediately stepped forward, placing both hands on the trunk.
"Calm down," she sang softly, "listen to my guidance."
As Julia's voice resonated, a faint song emerged from her lips.
The ship hadn't responded before, but now, the great tree in front of them did.
The twisted trunk gradually straightened. It grew straight, but its height stabilized at six or seven meters, after which it began to unfurl its canopy.
