Tribulation of Myriad Races-Chapter 1396: First Level, Human Face World (3)
Chapter 1396: First Level, Human Face World (3)
Human Face World.
First level. Source Opening.
Nine Source Opening acupoints. Eyes, ears, nose, mouth, Spirit Palace, One Hundred Openings...
When all nine were opened, the source would open and great strength would follow.
Open.
Opening the One Hundred Openings, gaining great strength.
Su Yu thought about it. He was atop an eyebrow. That was the location of the One Hundred Openings. He looked in a certain direction and pointed, "Is the entrance somewhere over there?"
Yellow Nine glanced at him doubtfully and replied, "I'm unsure. It's hard for me to judge after seeing only one of the mountain ranges. I only learned about this through a map in the past. At times, the terrain might change due to the passage of time. I can't say for sure."
Su Yu started muttering again, "Human Face World...Answer me. Since the Heaven Hunt Pavilion calls this place the Human Face World, have they never discovered anything special about this place? Were they never suspicious?"
"What do you mean?"
Yellow Nine said, "Are you saying..."
"Human face. Mouth, eyes, ears, and nose should be present, right? In that case, have these locations been explored before? Were there any treasures there?"
"Of course." Yellow Nine said, "These locations had been explored numerous times before. However, anything truly valuable would have been taken by those before us. As I mentioned, the first level has been explored extensively. The past explorers wouldn't have left anything valuable behind."
Su Yu nodded. That was understandable. The more obvious treasures would have been harvested clean long ago.
Eyebrows...the eyebrows wouldn't be too far away from the eyes. The eye acupoints would be there.
Su Yu said nothing and flew to the side of the mountain range before turning to a different direction. If he was right, the eye should be somewhere there. It was obvious the builder of the mansion had built it according to a set of rules.
While flying, he asked, "This mansion has been around since the ancient past. Who was the builder? Why was this level built according to a human race? Are there any records about this in the pavilion?"
"The builder?" Yellow Nine shook his head, "I don't know. In the records, only a line or two will be dedicated to most events or topics. This is also the case for the Luminous Domain Mansion."
Su Yu nodded. Abruptly, he turned his head in a certain direction. With an indifferent expression, a page from his book shot out. After a few moments, it returned with some new words written on it.
Yellow Nine was alarmed. Before she could notice anything, the page had returned. Just like that, an expert who was spying on them had died.
"Y-you...what manner of a treasure...is this book?"
Su Yu replied nonchalantly, "It's a normal earth weapon. What's the big deal? That was only a Skysoar."
Fine, fine.
Yellow Nine stopped asking. Inwardly, her heart was palpitating with fear. When she first saw the book, it felt gentle and refined. But instead, it was a weapon of mass murder. She was terrified. This was a demonic weapon!
"What's your current name?"
She asked, looking at the wolf form Su Yu was taking. She found his new face...ugly.
"Langtu."
Su Yu could sense that battles were starting to erupt all over the first level. Of the 3,600 people who had entered the mansion, about a third of them would enter the first level. In short, there were over one thousand people here.
Of course, the place was big enough that they wouldn't encounter the others so easily. Even with Su Yu's strength, it had taken him quite a while to fly across the Brow Mountain.
Seeing that Su Yu was ignoring her again, Yellow Nine took the initiative to speak, "This place is not completely safe. There are some natural treasures here. If you're careless, you might die without knowing what's happening."
She continued her explanation, "According to the records of the pavilion, some geniuses had drowned in the Ear Sea for seemingly no reason. You need to understand that these were young geniuses. None of them was weaker than the Skysoar Realm. It should have been impossible for people like them to drown."
Su Yu replied indifferently, "That's normal. Ear Sea, Blood Plain, Heavenly Pit, Double Dragon Gorge...all of them are filled with danger."
"You read the records before as well?"
Nope.
Su Yu thought that this was common sense. Those were the locations of the nine acupoints. It would be natural for these locations to be dangerous. Of the nine Source Opening acupoints, the Spirit Palace was located at one's naval.
Since the Human Face World was based on a human face, was there no Spirit Palace here? In that case, wouldn't this place be incomplete? After all, this was also supposed to be the Source Opening level.
"Thus, there must be another danger zone on this level. That should be the location of the Spirit Palace..."
Su Yu decided to forget about all the information he had collected about this level. What he wanted to find was different from what everyone else wanted to find. He couldn't rely on that information.
The Blood Plain was the location of the eyes. It was a crimson plain. According to Su Yu's interpretation, that was a display of bloodshot eyes.
"Perhaps I can discover something there."
Su Yu continued flying, followed by Yellow Nine, who was both curious and doubtful.
Suddenly, Su Yu asked, "Where can the riversand be found?"
"Not here. It is the sand of the Celestial River. And the Celestial River is located on the third level."
Third level?
Su Yu thought about it. The third level represented the Infinite Strength Realm. At the Infinite Strength Realm, one would start fusing one's acupoints.
Fusing all acupoints into nine.
The nine would serve as the foundation for further cultivation.
"Riversand...willpower purification...Is that perhaps the location of a soul aperture? Or perhaps the river is formed of the tears shed by the eyes? Is that the location of the fused eye acupoints?"
Su Yu was unsure. He would probably understand after seeing the river with his own eyes. That would be Wu Lan's destination in the mansion. The riversand could be considered one of the most valuable treasures one could find in the bottom three levels.
Just then, he saw the crimson plain in the distance.
The so-called Blood Plain was separated into several zones. Numerous crimson rivers flowed through the Blood Plain. When Su Yu saw them, realization dawned on him. Those were the blood vessels in the eyes.
That was how this place came to be known as the Blood Plain. The crimson rivers were surrounded by shores of white sand. That represented the sclera of the eye. At the center, a black marsh could be seen. That was the pupil.
In that case, where would the acupoint be? The Blood Plain was too big in size. It would be impossible for him to search the entire place.
"If there is an eye acupoint here, it would be somewhere in the center."
Seeing that Su Yu was heading toward the center of the Blood Plain, Yellow Nine said, "Be careful. This place is very dangerous. Even with our strength, safety is not guaranteed."
Why was this guy running around? He had no idea how dangerous this place was. It didn't matter if he got himself killed. But he shouldn't drag her down.
"Danger?" Su Yu laughed, "You should follow your advice. About three hundred meters to your left, something dangerous might be lurking. Stay away from it."
Yellow Nine looked left before looking at Su Yu with an odd expression. Was he an Invincible? Was he looking at her past and future? How would he know about the danger otherwise?
When she looked over, she saw nothing except a crimson river. But crimson rivers could be found all over the Blood Plain. How were they dangerous?
She doubted him.
Su Yu laughed. Abruptly, he reached out to grab her. Alarmed, Yellow Nine drew her sword. Just as she did that, the little furball opened his mouth in excitement. But before he could take his bite, Yellow Nine was caught by Su Yu. With a casual swing of Su Yu's hand, Yellow Nine was tossed toward the river.
Immediately, countless blood arrows took form and shot out of the river. Each arrow had the power of a Mountainsea.
Having regained her freedom, the horrified Yellow Nine hurriedly swung her sword. After numerous swings, she finally cut all the arrows down. Only then did she have the chance to fly into the sky again.
At this point, she had completely forgotten about what Su Yu did to her. She hurriedly asked, "How did you know that?"
Su Yu rubbed his eyes. What a stupid question. That was the exact spot on an eyebal that would be prone to itchiness. As a response to the discomfort, the eyeball would generate some tears. The tears of an eye this big would be enough to kill her, right?
Su Yu sighed and said, "You are a complete illiterate. Sure enough, there is an issue with the current education system of the Myriad Realms. Everyone is overly focused on fighting and killing. Hollow must have taught you nothing but killing."
That was somewhat unfair since the eyes of each race would be different. Some races would have more than a pair of eyes. In that case...why did the human race not notice the peculiarities of this place?
Su Yu frowned. The human race had been exploring this place for about four hundred years. How did nobody notice anything?
"No, someone must have discovered something. They might have reached the same conclusion about the nine apertures as well. In that case..."
Su Yu's eyes flickered. Some humans must have explored the locations of these acupoints before. The terrain here should look very familiar to a human. This was clearly an eye.
"In that case, there might be some humans at my destination. Hopefully, a conflict won't arise."
Su Yu smiled. If a conflict were to arise...he would decide what to do depending on the situation. The humans there had better be easy to talk to. Otherwise...well, it wasn't like he had never killed any humans before.
Su Yu continued flying while avoiding all the potential dangers of the area.
Eventually, the look in Yellow Nine's eyes changed.
The Blood Plain was a relatively dangerous place. For some reason, Su Yu seemed incredibly familiar with this place. He was able to easily avoid the various dangers here. Often, they would pass through a place safely, just for something dangerous to erupt right after their passing.
Su Yu appeared completely indifferent to all that. He continued flying without looking back. According to his interpretation, they were akin to some sand that had gotten into someone's eye. Thus, it was normal for that someone to try to get rid of them.
He only needed to avoid all the potential dangers and avoid causing too much discomfort to the eye. The first level was not necessarily forged out of someone's body. However, it was most definitely built in accordance with a living human.
Every one of the so-called dangers there was merely the natural reaction of a human body upon discomfort. Thus, a human should be able to easily avoid many of these dangers.
"The builder of this place is most certainly a human!"
At this point, Su Yu was already certain. Only a human would know the human body so well.
