Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations-Chapter 1244: Two Exceptionally Kindhearted People
An elderly man with white hair was convulsing on the ground, some white foam flowing from his mouth, and his entire mouth was askew, with a cane lying beside him.
There were plenty of onlookers, gathered in layers, murmuring among themselves, yet not one dared to help.
"What’s wrong with you guys? Are you all just going to watch him die without helping? Do none of you have any compassion?"
Janelle Mills scolded as she squatted down to help the elderly man lie prone. Though small in stature, she struggled multiple times before finally turning his head to the side.
"Hang in there, grandpa!" She quickly loosened the buttons at the elderly man’s collar, ensuring his airway was unobstructed.
"Quick, call 911!" Janelle looked up at the surrounding people, shouting in English, "Call 911!"
"Isn’t this a scam?" Someone spread their hands, looking incredulous.
The crowd continued to chatter!
The elderly man’s condition was critical, and Janelle Mills shouted urgently, "It’s not a scam! If we delay any longer, it’ll be too late! What’s the harm in calling 911? If there’s extortion, it’ll be me, not you!"
Trevor, who had just reached the door, heard the girl’s helpless voice and paused, turning his gaze.
As he saw the crowd dispersing amid discussion, Janelle Mills was alone aiding the elderly man, with no one helping to dial 911 or assist.
The man convulsed more violently!
Trevor furrowed his brow and swiftly made his way toward her, pulling out his phone to dial 911, speaking fluently in English, "An elderly man has fainted at Airport Exit A, approximately 80 years old, foaming at the mouth, convulsing all over, seemingly exhibiting signs of a seizure."
After finishing, he hung up and crouched down, aiding Janelle Mills in supporting the man, "Turning him to the side can help prevent aspiration from any foreign objects in the oral cavity." He spoke in Chinese.
The girl glanced up at him, "..." Their eyes briefly met, and then they both helped the man turn onto his side.
Janelle quickly took out tissues from her bag to wipe the corners of the man’s mouth, without any sign of disdain, astonishing Trevor!
This was something ordinarily avoided by most people!
"Let’s go, it’s going to rain."
"The weather’s changing quickly, let’s hurry!"
"Let’s go home!"
The crowd gradually dispersed, not expecting him to come over and help; Janelle was quite touched.
Very soon, the ambulance arrived, and they helped the medical staff lift the elderly man onto the stretcher. Watching the stretcher being pushed into the vehicle and the ambulance driving away, Janelle finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Trevor turned to look at her, then at the exit, "It’s going to be a heavy rain, let’s go!"
"Oh." The girl responded, grabbing her suitcase and following him out!
As they stepped out, a fierce wind swirled around, sweeping away the umbrellas people had just opened outside!
Janelle, slender in build, struggled to move against the wind, stepping back a few times nearly falling!
Walking ahead with a disheveled hairstyle, Trevor glanced back at her, and in the windstorm, he approached her instinctively and grabbed her arm, imparting some strength. The girl stood firmly.
Trevor led her step by step forward.
Taxis stopped one after another, passengers hurriedly getting in.
"It looks like getting a cab is going to be tough!" Janelle wasn’t too cold, but the wind was so strong that even her voice shivered, "Where are you going?"
"Let’s find a cab first." Trevor brought her to a pillar, "Stand firm!" saying that, he walked forward.
Janelle was pushed by the wind, barely able to keep her eyes open.
Trevor strode steadily forward, his hair wildly tousled by the wind!
This wasn’t the best spot to hail a cab; passengers rushed forward for fear of missing one, and it was about to rain hard.
Janelle’s long hair was in disarray, obediently waiting behind the tall pillar.
