Twins Reunite: Bringing Mom and Dad Together!-Chapter 939: Oblivious to Being Sold Out
The two kids went through several places before finally reaching their destination, and they couldn’t help but complain, "What kind of godforsaken place is this, making me work so hard."
Caleb Faulkner asked, "Do you know where the Quincy Family is?"
Estelle Sterling slapped her forehead, "Oh no, I forgot something so important, I forgot to ask Elara, I only asked about the location of the Quincy Family, not the exact address."
Caleb frowned, "Elara doesn’t have a phone, and The Keating Family will surely find out that we sneaked out now. If we contact The Keating Family, they’ll surely track us and take us back."
"What should we do then?"
The big guy who had been following them all along had actually been listening to them the entire time.
Now, hearing what they said, he spoke up, "If you want to know where the Quincy Family is, why don’t we just ask around?"
"Ask for directions?" Estelle and Caleb said in unison.
This time, they hadn’t brought any communication devices, and they didn’t dare call Eleanor Sterling for fear of being sent back by her.
They thought the big guy seemed to make some sense; the Quincy Family surely had influence here, they could just find someone and ask.
Then they could secretly make their way there, and Eleanor couldn’t do anything about them.
"Alright, let’s just ask someone."
The two agreed readily.
They glanced around the area, then went up together to grab someone.
"Hello, can you tell us where the Quincy Family is?"
The man looked down at the two of them, a look of surprise crossing his eyes. His gaze narrowed slightly, and while not knowing what he had thought of, a small smile played at the corners of his lips.
"You’re going to the Quincy Family?" he asked with a smile.
"Yes, we’re heading to the Quincy Family."
The man continued, "What an incredible coincidence, I’m going to the Quincy Family too. I can take you there with me."
The big guy grinned widely, saying, "Didn’t expect we’d meet a good person, little mas... uh, brothers, we don’t have to worry now. Someone can lead us there."
The brothers nodded, "Great, thank you then."
"Follow me, my car is in the parking lot."
They all headed toward the parking lot.
Before long, they got into the car, which drove away from the airport.
Estelle looked at the rapidly retreating scenery, her small eyebrows suddenly furrowing.
Something’s off, the more she thought about it, the more it seemed wrong.
She reached out and poked Caleb, giving him a look.
The two brothers always had a good connection, one look and they knew what the other was thinking.
Caleb thought carefully and also noticed some issues. They were just asking for directions, and yet this guy was overly enthusiastic, even driving them there.
After all, he was just a stranger.
But now they were already in the car, and had no way to do anything but go with the flow.
All because of that big guy, the fool. Although the two of them were smart, following him seemed to lower their IQ.
The two simultaneously shot the big guy a cold glare.
The big guy had no idea what he had done wrong; seeing both of them looking at him, he chuckled and said, "We’ve met a good person, we don’t have to work hard searching for the Quincy Family, he’s taking us there."
The brothers sneered deep down: Ha, like this, you’d never know if someone sold you!
Estelle gave a glance at the man driving in front, and asked, "Uncle, weren’t you going to the airport to pick someone up? If you’re sending us now, what about the person you’re supposed to pick up?"
The man’s face stiffened slightly, and he said, "I got the time wrong, it’s supposed to be tomorrow."
"Oh, that’s how it is, thank you, Uncle."
Now the two were even more certain that this man intended to abduct them. Didn’t expect such bad luck, just arriving here and finding a bad guy.
Sigh, if they knew earlier, they would have brought Elara, she’d put this person down in no time and make a getaway.
The two brothers weren’t too panicked. This time their trip had been hurried, they hadn’t brought much, and now they could only play it by ear, wait until it’s safe, and then try to contact Eleanor Sterling.
