Unexpected Marriage: She is the Sugar Mommy!-Chapter 317: Jude Sinclair’s Friend
Recently, Pomelo and Seraphina Sinclair’s relationship has gotten much better. The two are almost inseparable, even more so than Jude Sinclair and Seraphina were before.
When Jude Sinclair visited Seraphina on the weekend after school, he saw Pomelo clinging to her like a little koala.
"Mommy, who is this little girl? Why is she sticking to you so much?" Usually, Jude wouldn’t get jealous, but the situation was completely different now. He felt a huge crisis from Pomelo.
"You’re finally on break. Come over here, and I’ll introduce you." Seraphina beckoned Jude closer with a wave.
Before Seraphina could speak, Pomelo eagerly grabbed his hand: "You must be Jude, the brother Sister keeps mentioning, right? Hello, I’m Pomelo. We’ll be friends from now on, please take care of me."
Jude frowned almost imperceptibly: "Who wants to be friends with you?"
Pomelo pouted sadly: "But Sister Seraphina said you’re really nice and would definitely want to be friends with me."
"What she says doesn’t count, it’s what I say that goes." Jude snorted, turning his face away, ignoring Pomelo.
Pomelo, hearing Jude’s words, looked at Seraphina with grievance: "Sister, what should I do if Brother Jude doesn’t want to be friends with me?"
"How could he not want to? He surely does; you just need to put in a bit more effort to coax him, and he might agree." Seraphina patiently encouraged Pomelo while secretly glaring at little Jude.
Receiving the warning from his mother, Jude reluctantly walked over to Pomelo. He extended his small hand and looked at her coldly: "It’s not impossible to be friends with you, but you have to agree to three conditions."
"Just tell me, and as long as you say it, I can definitely do it." Pomelo was quite confident, believing there’s nothing in the world she couldn’t handle.
Seraphina had told her that where there is a will, there is a way. As long as she was willing to do it, nothing would be impossible.
"The first one is you’re not allowed to hang close to me when there are people around." Jude held up one finger as he spoke.
"Then what’s the second and third one?" Pomelo blinked innocently, looking at him seriously.
"The second one? You’re not allowed to call my mom ’Sister’ anymore; from now on, you have to call her ’Auntie’." Jude thought to himself, if Pomelo calls Seraphina ’Sister’, doesn’t that make her a generation older than him?
Pomelo mulled it over before finally nodding: "I agree with you, but Sister might not agree."
Jude snorted: "Mommy will agree, don’t worry."
At this moment, Seraphina didn’t expect the topic to turn towards her. She could only helplessly nod: "Okay, I can agree to this one."
"What’s the last one?" Pomelo was rather impatient, thinking the first two were so simple, the last one shouldn’t be too difficult.
Jude contemplated carefully and then shook his head: "I haven’t thought of the last one yet. You wait, and I’ll think about it then tell you."
"Alright then, but once you think of it, you have to tell me quickly." Pomelo clapped her hands and proactively grabbed Jude’s hand, asking with a smile, "Are we friends now?"
Jude didn’t say anything, but he seemed to agree by default.
Friends? He never had friends of the same age and didn’t quite know how to interact with Pomelo.
Whether it was in kindergarten or elsewhere, the kids he interacted with were always quite childish, on a different level of thinking. Those kids weren’t as mature as he was, making it difficult to play or chat with them, leaving him somewhat lonely.
Being able to make friends with someone his age was something Jude never dared to imagine. Now there was a lively little friend standing right in front of him, and it all seemed so unreal.
But this Pomelo seems pretty smart, not as childish as other kids.
Perhaps it wouldn’t hurt to try getting along.
"How old are you this year?" Jude asked Pomelo a bit awkwardly.
Pomelo tilted her head, thinking carefully: "I just turned five. My nominal age is six, how about you?"
Upon hearing Pomelo mention she just turned five, Jude breathed a sigh of relief, puffed out his chest with pride, and told her loudly: "I’ve already turned six, so I’m older than you. Logically, you should call me ’Brother’."
Pomelo, not being pretentious, immediately sweetly called, "Brother Jude."
The call of ’Brother’ touched Jude deeply, fulfilling his long-unrealized dream! Jude controlled his excitement, trying his best to appear calm and composed.
Even though he was a bit unwilling earlier, Pomelo’s call to him as ’Brother Jude’ easily won him over.
Seraphina couldn’t help but laugh, thinking her son really was a little tsundere.
Just now Pomelo called ’Brother Jude’ a few times without any reaction from him, but now hearing her call him seriously, he was blushing with excitement.
Watching the two little brats walking hand in hand, Seraphina couldn’t help but have an immature thought in her mind.
If these two little ones really got together when they grew up, it’d be quite a good match.
But all of this depends on the kids’ own will, and they’re still too young to talk about such things.
The most important thing now is to find Pomelo’s parents, ask them clearly what their view is on Pomelo. Could they really abandon such an adorable child?
Pomelo’s illness is also urgent, and this is the most troubling issue.
Money isn’t the problem; the problem is finding a suitable bone marrow, which is very difficult. Even if it’s found, the other party might not be willing to donate, which is a major issue.
Seraphina fell into deep thought, completely forgetting that she still had two children to look after right in front of her.
When she snapped back to reality, Pomelo and Jude were nowhere to be found, and she immediately panicked, rushing out of the ward to find them.
Although Jude was very smart and Pomelo was clever, the hospital was big and easy to get lost in, and there were people with bad intentions everywhere. If anything happened to Jude and Pomelo, she would definitely feel guilty for life.
She hurried to the nurse’s station to ask them: "Excuse me, did you see two five- or six-year-old kids walking out of here just now?"
The nurse on duty shook her head, indicating she hadn’t seen them.
These two kids really were a handful, disappearing in the blink of an eye. Where on earth had they gone?
Jude really was troublesome, leaving without his phone, which he left in the ward.
Just as she exited the hospital’s main entrance, she ran into Keith Hughes.
Seeing Seraphina blindly rushing forward, Keith hurried to stop her: "Where are you rushing off to? Aren’t you supposed to be resting? The media is watching you right now, it’s dangerous to go out randomly."
