Unexpected Marriage With Mr. Leighton: Rebirth of the Villain-Chapter 65: BEAUTIFUL WEDDING PREPARATION
Chapter 65: BEAUTIFUL WEDDING PREPARATION
Hazel thought they were going to have some fun; she was already excited, but that man backed away after touching her here and there, and now she had to change her panty and put on her bra again.
"You are the one who put me to bed and kissed me. I thought we were going to do something fun, but here you are, leaving me hanging."
Ranon chuckled. He glanced over his shoulder at the sulking Hazel. But he left the room and closed the door behind him.
Inside, Hazel put on a beautiful dress with a floral pattern. Too feminine for her taste, but somehow, she liked how flowy the dress was and how it fluttered around her ankle when she moved. She looked demure and sweet.
Well, no one would have thought that she was a killer.
Thankfully, she had not yet had a baby bump; that was why she could still wear anything that she wanted. She took a mental note to buy more clothes because the original Hazel apparently only wore something simple and sweet.
She needed more variety of style now, especially when she was pregnant. Oh, she couldn’t stop thinking of going shopping. It has been a very long time since the last time she went shopping.
Ironically, the last dress that she purchased actually was the wedding dress she bought from Olivia.
Talking about Olivia, she needed to make another mental note to call her this evening, or else she needed to think of how to get herself a wedding dress.
She was not serious when she said she would go and wed Ranon with whatever clothes she had. Obviously, she was not going to do that.
She wanted to look pretty in the picture, or else it would be a waste of this beautiful face, not to mention her wedding would be plastered all over social media.
She wanted to look beautiful!

Hazel was actually surprised that she enjoyed this moment when she had to choose the menu for her wedding day, or the decoration, or the wedding theme, and also such trivial things like choosing the color.
Ranon was there, but he mostly let her do whatever she wanted. He agreed with everything that she chose, and somehow this made Hazel very happy.
Now she knew why everyone was very concerned about their wedding and why women were very thrilled while preparing for their wedding day. Some of them were even willing to be stressed out with the whole preparation, yet they were stubborn to go through it all.
Before this, Hazel thought she would be happy with only a court wedding since people like her or Arlo were not particularly into a big event. Not to mention the one more reason was: because of their line of business, they were not allowed to be the center of attention.
That was why it was so hard for them to be able to host such a big party. River couldn’t be the center of attention even on her special day, such as her birthday or graduation. She should keep her existence to the minimum.
But now Hazel could see how wrong her perspective was; she liked big events, and a little bit of attention was also nice too, since she felt like she mattered, as if people appreciated her existence, which was a silly thought actually...
At this moment, Hazel was glad that she was not married to Arlo and having this big event for her wedding. After all, a wedding was a very special occasion, more so to the woman. Not to mention all the media would pay attention to this big wedding.
This was something that River would never dream of having. Yet, here she was, having the time of her life, as Hazel. She didn’t mind it, though. Happiness was happiness no matter who she was.
Hazel didn’t remember when was the last time she was this happy.
However, she still remembered how happy and excited Aubrey used to be whenever she talked about her dream wedding since she would be the center of attention. She would be the queen of the day; that was what she used to say about her wedding.
At that time, Hazel couldn’t understand why Aubrey wanted to be the center of attention, but now she understood that.
"You look so happy," Ranon said.
Hazel turned her head and then stared at the man who would be her husband within a few days. She didn’t even realize she had this big, stupid grin on her face when she looked at him, which only made Ranon smile to see her expression.
He didn’t expect Hazel would be this happy since she was pretty unpredictable. But apparently, preparing your own wedding was the same for all the women. At least, that was what Ranon thought when he saw her expression.
Her brown eyes lit up beautifully, and her cheek flushed red because of the excitement. She was smiling more often, and not only that; she was very chatty and involved in the choice of their wedding.
"I thought you would not care about whatever flower or color they will use for our wedding."
"How come I will not care about that? Of course I will care. The whole country will highlight our wedding, and our faces will be all over social media. Of course I want everything to be perfect. Why do you think I want a normal wedding, an ordinary wedding?"
Hazel wanted this extravagant wedding that Aubrey used to dream of. Now she understood the excitement, though she didn’t experience the stressful part since Ranon mostly made it easy for her.
"I don’t know. Maybe because you don’t look very thrilled with the wedding when I mentioned it." Ranon tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear.
"That’s what you said, not what I said, okay? Don’t put words into my mouth." Hazel scrunched her nose at him, but her annoyance disappeared when she saw the venue.
