Unexpected Marriage With Mr. Leighton: Rebirth of the Villain-Chapter 66: EATING PASSIONATELY
Chapter 66: EATING PASSIONATELY
Hazel knew that the Leighton family had this resort in the hill of the mountain where one side of the scenery was the mountain, while the other side was the forest. And if you walked a little further, you would find a cliff where you could see the sea and hear the sound of the waves from there. The wedding itself would be an outdoor wedding.
Well, probably Hazel could use that cliff to push Arlo down when no one saw. Even though that couldn’t happen.
It would take a miracle if she had a chance like that. But a girl could dream, right? At the very least that was a plan so it couldn’t be said that she neglected her attempt to get revenge on the two of them.
Another thing about the guest list for the wedding was that while the Leighton family had a cooperation with the Barlowe family, the Leighton family had some kind of bad blood with the Lozen family, which meant Arlo couldn’t bring Aubrey with him.
He was given a plus one, but it’s almost like an unwritten rule not to bring the Lozen family to the Leighton family, especially after their last attempt to kill Ranon.
It was so obvious that Ranon wouldn’t let it go easily.
More so, Hazel felt like that killing attempt was too rushed. Her father should know better how to make a plan. It almost felt very reckless and impatient.
Hazel wondered what her father was thinking when he issued the killing attack to Ranon.
But then, she would think about that later because right now she had another important thing to do, such as trying the drink for her wedding.
This was the part she had been waiting for, even though she had never had a wedding nor was she involved in a preparation.
But to taste all the wine, it must be very enjoyable.
Ranon’s voice was so close to her ear, she didn’t even realize he had been standing behind her.
However, before Hazel could bring the glass to her lips and let the liquid slide down her throat, Ranon had taken the glass from her hand, which made her whip her head and look at him reproachfully.
"What do you think you are doing?" Hazel asked, annoyed.
However, Ranon stared at her back sharply. "I should be the one who asked you; what do you think you are doing?"
"What? I am testing the drink."
"This is an alcohol."
"So what if this is alcohol? I am not a minor..."
But before the words left her lips, Hazel realized what Rannon meant by that. She forgot, again, that she was pregnant, and she could only grumble because of that.
"I will take over from here." Rannon then gulped down the liquid inside the flute.
"I don’t believe your taste," Hazel said sulkily.
But to her dismay, this man chuckled at her childish response. "You don’t believe my taste? Do you think my taste is not good?"
"Yeah, I can say that."
Ranon laughed now with her answer. "Well, do you want to say that you are not good?"
"What?" Hazel’s mind was working very slowly because after saying that, Ranon left to try another glass of wine.
What he meant by that was very obvious. It meant Hazel was his taste, so if she said his taste was not good, it meant she was not good either.
Damn, that man! He actually turned the table around!
Hazel hated him, but he was so hot, which made it hard to hate such a man like him. freewёbn૦νeɭ.com
That was the problem with gorgeous people; they were hard to hate. That was why Hazel could only grit her teeth and grumble behind his back. Right now, that gorgeous, hateful man walked back to talk with a few people about the last arrangement.
There was nothing more they needed to do since Hazel and Ranon actually were pretty simple people, and these people, the wedding organizers, were the top in this country, so they knew what they were doing.
After everything had been settled and had been agreed to, they only needed to talk about a few more things before they went home.
On the other hand, because Hazel couldn’t drink, she went to find some cakes and pastries. They were all the sample, and she almost ate them all since she was hungry.
This pregnancy would really make her look like a whale. She was worried that by the end of this pregnancy she would be rolling instead of walking with the way her appetite was right now.
But her doctor said she was fine. There was nothing to be worried about the baby, and she was healthy.
Yeah, she would be very healthy with round butts and full breasts later on. And somehow, she had this ridiculous thought that most men would cheat on their wives during the pregnancy because some of them, probably most of them, didn’t really like how their wives turned out.
Actually, these kinds of problems shouldn’t have worried Hazel since she and Ranon were not in that kind of relationship. They were loyal to each other and agreed there wouldn’t be anyone else in this complicated marriage.
It would only bring trouble for them if they involved the third party.
However, the thought of Ranon with someone else didn’t sit well with Hazel.
And the more she was annoyed, the more she ate. She stuffed her mouth with the cakes and pastries there.
"Can I have another one of this strawberry cake?" Hazel asked; her voice was a little bit annoyed.
"Oh, sure."
And the beautiful servant immediately went away to get her another portion of the strawberry cake, which later on would be attacked by Hazel. The poor cake didn’t last for three minutes.
Hazel didn’t even realize when Ranon was behind her. He watched everything, and somehow it amused him to see how passionate Hazel was to finish the cake.
When she went for the fifth, he finally approached her.
"What is it? Did the strawberry cake wrong you?"
