Unrivaled Miracle Doctor: The God-Defying Demonic Consort-Chapter 52: Testing Medicine on Her (2)
What she was doing was constantly testing the elixir for the mysterious elder of Beiming before it was successfully developed.
Mu Ge’s gaze darkened.
Tonight, the elder of Beiming summoned her, could it be...
Clang!
A dark-bellied porcelain bottle was thrown, rolling onto Mu Ge’s brocade robe.
Then, the elder of Beiming spoke coldly: "This is a newly refined elixir from me. Take it and tell me your body’s reaction."
A flash of murderous intent crossed Mu Ge’s obscure eyes as she looked up at the elder of Beiming. He sat on a couch, not looking at her, but holding a transparent bottle in his hand, inside of which a green light cluster seemed to struggle desperately.
For some reason, Mu Ge felt that the green light was Mu Qingge’s soul.
This thought rattled her heart. She carefully observed the elder of Beiming, trying to discern some clues from his expression.
But his face was shrouded in darkness, only a strange smile could be vaguely discerned at the corners of his mouth.
’Could he have figured something out!’ Mu Ge thought with a chill in her heart.
The elder of Beiming could evidently see souls, but why, Mu Ge did not know. She was only concerned about what might happen to Mu Qingge at the elder of Beiming’s hands, and whether he knew that was Mu Qingge’s soul and about herself... 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
Borrowing a corpse to return to life was a secret Mu Ge intended to keep in the depths of her heart. If this person discovered it and remained unfazed, what could he be planning?
In the flickering of Mu Ge’s gaze, the elder of Beiming spoke again, more sharply than before.
"What are you still standing there for? Do you think that by suddenly cultivating and reaching the Yellow Realm Peak, you can escape my grasp? Hmph."
Mu Ge’s eyes widened suddenly.
This elder saw through her current strength at a glance?
Suddenly, a gust of chilling wind blew past.
A shadowy figure appeared in front of Mu Ge, her pupils contracted, reflecting a hideous and terrifying face deep in her clear eyes.
Her chin was gripped tightly, the feeling of being out of control assaulted her again, leaving Mu Ge no time to resist.
Her mouth was forcibly opened, and the bottle containing the elixir was unsealed, with its contents poured down her throat in one go.
The elixir melted upon contact, with an indescribable stench, enough to make one retch.
After the elixir was consumed, she felt her chin release, and she was roughly pushed down.
A scornful, haughty voice sounded by her ear: "Hmph, ungrateful."
Mu Ge lay on the ground, her eyes as cold as ice.
Not enough! Still not enough! Still not strong enough!
"Ugh..."
Suddenly, a wrenching pain gripped her abdomen, quickly spreading throughout her body, like being devoured by countless insects.
’The medicinal power has activated!’
Cold sweat dripped from Mu Ge’s forehead as she bit her lip hard, not allowing a sound to escape.
Pain, Mu Ge feared not. She could endure. But this pain felt like life itself was slipping away. Mu Ge watched helplessly as the skin on the back of her hand started to rot, emitting a foul odor. Surely, her body was suffering the same fate.
’This is definitely not a body-enhancing medicine but a torturous poison!’ Even though Mu Ge didn’t understand pharmacology, she could discern the nature of the medicine designed by the elder of Beiming.
’Damn it! Am I to watch myself rot away and die?’ Mu Ge felt both anger and unwillingness.
Unfortunately, in the presence of the elder of Beiming, she was as defenseless as a baby.
She could only let him do as he pleased.
Suddenly, it seemed something was triggered by the intense pain, as a clear stream surged from Mu Ge’s dantian, quickly flowing through her body and expelling the poison wreaking havoc within her.
The pain eased.
And Mu Ge looked in astonishment as the rotting flesh on her arm seemed to reverse in time, restoring to its original state.
What was happening?
Could it be the genetic transformation agent?
Mu Ge boldly speculated.
Moments later, Mu Ge spat out a mouthful of black, foul-smelling blood, the pain vanished, replaced instead by an unusual spiritual power coursing into her body, slightly enhancing her cultivation.
Though the enhancement was minimal and almost negligible, it was still there.
However, at this moment, Mu Ge didn’t notice this slight change, her eyes were fixed on the puddle of black blood. She was very familiar with this scent, for when her body underwent genetic transformation, her body also expelled similar black blood, but at a multitude size compared to this.
Originally, she thought it was the impurities expelled after Mu Qingge’s useless physique was transformed.
But now, she realized, this black blood was the hidden toxin within Mu Qingge’s body! And its origin likely couldn’t be separated from this elder of Beiming.
Mu Qingge slowly raised her eyes, looking at the elder of Beiming, who hadn’t noticed her.
