Urban Super Soldier King-Chapter 715: Han Rumei Joins In
Chapter 715: Chapter 715: Han Rumei Joins In
Tie Zhuzi gave Han Rumei’s shoulder a pat to signal her to relax, but suddenly felt it was inappropriate, considering Han Rumei was a woman. That was when Tie Zhuzi gave an awkward cough and sat back down.
Only after relaxing a bit did Han Rumei look at Xiang Yu and say, "I want to join the Heavenly Dragon Gang."
At her words, both Tie Zhuzi and Mu Bai, who were sitting there, were pleased. After all, Han Rumei’s joining largely signified that a big group of beautiful women would be joining too.
"Have you thought it through?" Xiang Yu smiled and continued, "Being a girl, you might be better off living a peaceful life, I can arrange a more comfortable job for you."
The path ahead was one of darkness, and it was one thing for Xiang Yu and the others to walk it, but to let the girls follow him, Xiang Yu felt somewhat reluctant.
"I’ve thought it through," Han Rumei said, nodding firmly.
Seeing her so resolute, Xiang Yu nodded and smiled, "Which department would you like to work in?"
After all, Han Rumei was an adult with her own thoughts and plans. Xiang Yu could only offer a reminder—the path one takes is one’s own, and others have no right to interfere.
"I used to be in The Dark Department, and I still want to stay in The Dark Department," Han Rumei said, looking at Xiang Yu with some expectation.
Xiang Yu nodded, and then turned to Mu Bai. He had previously said he would let Mu Bai lead The Dark Department, so now with new recruits joining, he thought it best to consult Mu Bai’s opinion.
Seeing Xiang Yu’s gaze, Mu Bai quickly said, "I completely agree. She was once the captain of the Evil God’s The Dark Department, and she has more experience in this area than I do. I wholeheartedly support Han Rumei becoming the boss of The Dark Department."
Mu Bai was by nature a person who loved freedom and was laid-back. When Xiang Yu said he should become the boss of The Dark Department, Mu Bai hadn’t been that excited but felt a heavy sense of responsibility instead.
Now that someone had volunteered to join The Dark Department, he could finally step back.
"I can’t do it," Han Rumei quickly shook her hand. She merely wanted to join The Dark Department, as she was familiar with it. But she had not expected to be suddenly made the leader of The Dark Department.
Xiang Yu then nodded and said, "Han Rumei, from now on you are the boss of The Dark Department, and you will oversee its affairs from here on out. Additionally, right now, you are the only person in The Dark Department, and you have free rein to choose any brother from the Heavenly Dragon Gang."
Han Rumei: "..."
Han Rumei had always thought that, being a major gang, the Heavenly Dragon Gang would definitely have its counterpart of The Dark Department. It was only now that she found out that The Dark Department had just been established.
"Alright, let’s settle this matter," Xiang Yu said, not giving Han Rumei a chance to decline any further, then looked at her and continued, "Now that you’ve joined our ranks, tell us, what do you think the Evil God will do next?"
Han Rumei’s expression changed when she heard mention of the Evil God, and after thinking for a moment, she said, "Based on what I know about them, now that Su Peng is dead, the organization of The Dark Department within the Evil God will definitely be handed over to Feng Lan to manage, and they will send her over to handle this matter."
Han Rumei’s expression wavered, then she looked at Xiang Yu and said, "Feng Lan was once our leader, very capable, and very kind to us. Unless absolutely necessary, I don’t want to confront her."
Xiang Yu understood what was on Han Rumei’s mind, then nodded and said, "Don’t worry, you won’t have to confront her."
Relieved, Han Rumei quickly looked at Xiang Yu. In her mind, Xiang Yu was an enigma—despite his seemingly flippant way of speaking, his actions were always decisive and clear-cut.
Xiang Yu then arranged a few other matters, when suddenly his phone rang.
"Alright, that’s all. Everyone can disband now," said Xiang Yu before taking his phone and heading back to the little room.
Tie Zhuzi and Mu Bai stood up at the same time and then approached Han Rumei.
"Han girl, now let me take you to see the houses. Didn’t Brother Yu just say, you could pick a suite here?" Tie Zhuzi said with officious kindness.
Mu Bai stood in front of Han Rumei with an equally bright smile and said, "Yeah, I’ve already found a great one. Come on, I’ll take you there."
Tie Zhuzi then glared at Mu Bai and retorted, "You go ahead with your training. Don’t worry about things here."
"I don’t have training this afternoon, Coach Wu has given me the day off," Mu Bai said with his head held high.
At that moment, Wu Jing suddenly appeared behind them, cleared his throat, and said, "In one minute, you two better be waiting downstairs, or else it’s a hundred push-ups."
Having said that, Wu Jing walked away alone.
Tie Zhuzi glanced at Mu Bai, and then they both hurried downstairs. Tie Zhuzi didn’t forget to shout back as he left, "Han girl, I’ll come find you after I finish training."
Seeing their easygoing demeanors, Han Rumei couldn’t help but cover her mouth and giggle. Back when she was with Evil God, there were no scenes like this — everyone wore a dark expression, like they had just lost their fathers.
Now that she was with the Heavenly Dragon Gang, she felt much warmth, and everyone seemed so harmonious. Just then, she saw Xiao Xuan sitting there drinking tea and walked over to sit across from him, "Why aren’t you training?"
"I’m here protecting brother," Xiao Xuan said with a smile.
Han Rumei had never found it so effortless to interact with people, and then she sat there chatting with Xiao Xuan. Of course, most of their conversation revolved around Xiang Yu.
Xiang Yu took the phone into a small office before answering it. It was a call from Qin Wen.
"I’ve missed you. Why don’t you come to see me?" Qin Wen said coquettishly.
Xiang Yu’s ears went soft at the sound of Qin Wen’s gentle, delicate voice, and he immediately thought of the day they had been entwined. It had to be said, Qin Wen was like a ripe peach, always itching in his heart when he couldn’t have her.
"Where have you missed me?" Xiang Yu said, smiling as he sat on the couch.
"My whole body misses you, especially some hidden places even more. I’ll be cooking dinner and waiting for you tonight," Qin Wen said.
Xiang Yu thought for a moment. He had no plans that evening and replied, "Alright, I’ll come to your place tonight, wait for me."
Qin Wen continued to talk on the phone for a while before hanging up.
Qin Wen used to be the general manager of Haoran Group; now she was the deputy general manager of Yuran Group. Normally, she’s a high-ranking leader, rarely letting any man enter her heart, let alone touch her body.
But it was different now. Xiang Yu had appeared. Her long-dormant heart had started to beat, but she knew Xiang Yu was just a passerby in her life; she wouldn’t fall too deeply.
Xiang Yu cared even less; he wasn’t thinking too much. His fascination with Qin Wen was entirely due to her mature aura and her exceptionally large breasts that were too big to grasp with one hand. Just thinking about it was exciting.
As Xiang Yu sat there, lost in thought, Wang Ze called.
"Big brother, someone in the city is investigating Zhang Dongxu’s case; they probably won’t let it go until they see Zhang Dongxu’s body," Wang Ze said seriously.
"Got it, tell the brothers not to provoke them yet; it’s not the right time," Xiang Yu said with equal seriousness...
